I have all 3 Cobra One Length Hybrids 5h, 4h and 3h(I also made a custom one length 6h). They are amazing clubs, but you do not need all three, the gapping is not good enough between the three imo. If you only get one, get the 4h. If you want two, get the 5h and 3h. The 3h also is the most inconsistent imo, I might switch back to a full length 3h to see if more club head speed can help.

The shafts are completely different. Try it with a different high quality putter as a control

In mid summer this year I cut my driver down to 43 inches. Immediately hit more fairways, launched higher, no loss of distance. Then, dropped my 4, 5, and 6 irons. Went with 3,4,5,6 hybrids……and cut the shafts 1 inch each! My highest lofted wedge is my sand wedge at 54 degrees. Shooting the lowest rounds of my life! I’ll be 70 in March.

I would consider this new HiBore driver if I was in the market! At my age I don’t care about looks, just results. I play with 3 hybrids and another (7 hybrid ) just waiting to get in the mix! As a 4 handicap I play game improvement irons because they are easier, not better looking!

The other thing people are forgetting if you want the set up like Bryson is he uses one length shafts for all his clubs minus the driver.

I play a full set of idrive hybrids, from 3 thru lob wedge(I leave out the SW). I also carry a Bang 21 wood. Even with that you still need a regular sand and lob wedge to use around the green. Single digit HC by the way. You can work these clubs right and left the same way as irons.

Now redo your review with Elevens whole line. Driver, 3-P, chipper, wedges, sand blaster and putter. Play a full round or two. Show how low you can go in 2-3 rounds with these. You will most certainly find these very impressive.

I bought into the one length concept and have gone thru a couple of Cobras over the years. Problem I ran into is there was not much distance gained from 7-5. I decided to transition to variable length irons and transitioned to Taylormade stealth. Best I got out of the one length 5 iron was 150-155 yards. I've only played the stealths for a couple weeks and have seen a drastic increase in distance and accuracy. From 150yds out today I hit a 5 iron over an elevated green and into the back yard of a resident. Curious if I just got lucky so I tried it again..same results. The one length irons are outstanding for a beginner player though. I'd highly recommend them to a first time player. As a matter of fact I have the one length speedzone and radspeed hybrid combo sets if anyone is looking for a good deal

Have We Been Conned the title on this video. And all I can say is yes, I was conned in thinking this would be an unbiased review. Which it wasn't. You discuss the Cleveland technology, but make no mention of the Wilson technology whatsoever. Why? You almost looked pained when you hit the Wilson better (which are laugh out loud moments), and immediately start back peddling as to why the Cleveland is better (more laugh out loud moments). Do you work for Cleveland or what? I hope that no one takes your opinion seriously, and I hope they see through your totally biased preconceived opinion. As for me I will block your channel and will never have to be subjected to another one of your videos again.

I'm intrigued to try one, but I'm nearer retirement than your age (and 135kg, so not that flexible!) and with a swing speed that sees a 6i going 150y in winter, I'm not super convinced I'll hit it any further than I hit my beloved Cleveland Launcher hybrid 5 "iron". Yeah it's 1" longer than a 7i, but on a bad day I just grip down, 'cause that's what you do! So I think I might already have effectively the same club! My good hits off the tee are past my playing partners bad drives. I've got the 3 and 4 (same model club) as well but 90% of the time I hit them lower and more off line. Yeah I scream the odd one another 30 yards but does it matter?

How many extra yards to make it a decent investment? Look at it backwards, there are plenty of golfers out there willing to buy the latest new driver every year or two costing near the same amount for an extra couple of yards or they like the feel, look, forgivemess or whatever better than the current driver. Or simply for the sake of having something new and shiny in the bag.

As a complete beginner (haven't broke 100 yet 😅) is using a new driver worth it? Or should I stick with older forgiving models until I start getting more consistent? Or is a fitting worth it at this point? I enjoy playing but struggle with the dreaded slice with the driver. I've watched loads of videos but when they fit "high handicappers" they always play of 15 or 20 so not sure how similar and relevant it is to complete beginners

Driver = bat head + Big Stick. Ive been playing golf since I was 7 and not that brilliantly. My first meeting with a driver was when I had just outgrown my dads around 12 years old and I could just see over it when it was stood up. First hit, hole in one on a greenhouse way off to the right seeing as my swing was more or less horizontal due to height issues. In all these years of playing the only HUGE change in the big stick was the switch to hollow titanium heads with hotspot technology. For my money I now still like the TaylorMade M1 2017 driver and club set as a whole. My game isn't excellent but I enjoy it and I'm hitting a lot further now and a lot more accurately than I ever did. So new driver every year just because its new isnt quite an important part of my life. Id sooner pay off half a years subs on my local course than just buy 1 club.

Hi Alex I watched this video, then bought these from Amazon. I was pleased with the results I got. Any poor results were caused by the person holding the club having an ego bigger than his ability.

I moved to JumboMax XS UL. They feel great, and I'm playing really well with them. I recently played in the rain, and they were VERY slippery. But Im usually a fair weather golfer, so Im not worried about it.

Still game the Cobra F 9 driver and have the same shaft in it as my three wood...If I want it to go farther, I just had to swing faster...Guranted....So straight down the middle is just fine with me... Thanks for this review....

Taylormade had a driver the exact same shape years back. Can’t remember the name.

Got rid of my useless 3 wood for something with more loft....I now use a 20+ year old Ping G2 2HL iron goes almost as far as my driver!
