Everyones thoughts on the episode???
It was amazing! I love that they made Joel more vulnerable, it feels a lot more real. And the acting is award worthy as usual!
I laughed out loud when Tommy seemed a bit distraught when his wife asserted that their settlement was communist, considering tommy had a desert storm sticker on the back of his truck on the first episode.
The episode is good and all...but this is the first time I've seen John without a hat 😂😂
haha came to comment the same thing!
😂😂
They say in the episode that Tommy couldn’t radio him because one of the rules of the settlement is that they don’t use the radios in order to stay under the radar.
I get that Tommy didn’t tell Joel over the radio about his new community in case someone listens in on the message and finds them. There are raiders and slavers after all. But he could have at least told Joel he’s safe and he found good people and joined their group. Or he could have told Joel to meet him some place else and take him to Jackson from there. But I think Maria didn’t want Joel to join. Tommy probably told her about the things he and Joel did and since she fell in love with Tommy she couldn’t believe he did those things without being manipulated into it. So Joel has to be the bad guy in her mind.
That’s why she’s clashing with Ellie in the haircut scene. Both of them put their trust into one of the brothers and think a little less about the other. Maria thinks Joel is the bad influence and Ellie thinks Tommy is the follower, like Joel said on their car ride. Someone who has to follow a cause or a person. First Joel, then Marlene, now Maria. But I guess the truth lies somewhere in between because people change depending on who they are surrounding themselves with. Joel and Tommy will always have a sibling dynamic and they will always be different people when they’re among themselves. They grew up together when the world was very different, they lived through the apocalypse together, lost Sarah together, did cruel things to survive together. That’s probably why both Maria and Ellie looked uncomfortable when the brothers met again. Because they were afraid that there’s a difference between the family Joel and Tommy chose for themselves and their bond as „true family“.
Damn... This show is killing me!
That scene where Joel is opening up with Tommy is heartbreakingly beautiful.
Pedro deserves an award.
I need a spinoff with Marlin and Florence ASAP. They were so damn charming and adorable. "There are firefly people?" I was dying during that opening scene. Bless this show for giving us that needed comic relief. Especially after showing us Henry again. I needed that.
And much needed Penelope time. My favorite reactor. 😂
Penelope stole the show😂 Another solid episode. I can see both Joel and Tommy's points. Joel stuck in a FEDRA ghetto with his girl (Tess) struggling to just get by(literally slinging drugs and other black market goods) and his brother goes radio silent he's going to think the worst. Tommy found a refuge in a post apocalyptic world and doesn't even let his brother know what he found that could benefit Joel and Tess life so,so much. But than again Tommy letting his brother know over open radio lines could of put the entire community at risk / his wife and coming child. A very tough predicament for both and I can see why both men held a grudge when they reunited. Great account BTW and you got a new subscriber here 👍🔥
Thank you!!!
Woah Sebastian Stan joining the reactions lol
Horses are trained to believe that just draping their lead rope over a branch means it's utterly secure. They won't even test it unless startled or frightened. Think about it, even fully knotting a leather lead around a branch isn't going to stop a determined, nearly half-ton animal, from breaking free.
I just want to give a standing ovation to the location scout. Now, they did film in Jackson WY, so I’m assuming the other locations were in WY, but I also know they filmed a lot of it in Canada. Regardless, it’s a beautiful show with amazing cinematography. Also, loved that old Indigenous couple lol
Highly enjoyed yalls vibes 🤙🏾😌y’all got a subscriber forsure! 😂
Everyone laugh at the firefly people comment, but if there’s mushroom people already, people being half bug doesn’t seem much of a stretch…
AYEEEEEEE JOHN YES!!! the time has come!😂😂😂great reaction guys
😂 figured it was time!
Whoa, John has hair!
WTF?!?! JOHN ISN’T WEARING A HAT?!?!?! 😨😨😨
🫢
The shot you liked was shot in Canmore! So just outside of Calgary :)
haha ahh lucky guess, amazing scenery!! - John
John didn’t have a hat on???
I'd be worried about Tetanus, but i don't think they are going to go there, since Joel has plot armor, but he is going to be out of the picture for awhile. I'm mostly worried about what Ellie is going to have to deal with.
"They skipped him tying it"
Not at all
You're NEVER supposed to tie a horse in a way that the rope is fully stuck. If the horse gets scared, it can literally break its own neck. ALWAYS loosely secure the rope so if the horse has to escape, it can
Haha yea someone else explained that to us too…obviously you can tell neither of us ride horses hahaha
the only reason joel left boston was because tommy didnt message him back, tess would still be alive and all lol they would never left if they knew he was live comfy like that
Love your reactions. Btw the guy with tattoos looks like male Eivor from Assassin's Creed Valhalla. 👌
That jacket is 2000 dollars. 😲
Wait who…
Oh nvm
mushrooms are so gross
