I prefered ellies relationship with Riley way more in the show than in the game dlc, because they actually had chemistry. In the game when the kiss happened it was just really sudden and didn't make much sense because there wasn't any build up and they literally just seemed like friends, unlike the show that made the interactions before the kiss more on the nose which caused the kiss to be actually expected
Bella is insanely talented, her emotions are so believable. The way she delivered the lines telling Joel to "stfu!" And after she was bit and said "no" was CRAZY real.
I loved the way they did this episode, so beautiful & sad to see her relationship with Riley and even sadder to think she had to be Ellie’s first kill. I do find it funny, how many people think Ellie is actually leaving Joel, when she goes upstairs and the horse is still in the garage with Joel.
Loved the chemistry between Bella and Storm through this episode, and I kind of enjoyed it more than the game. I'm really really looking forward to next episode.
@24:10 In Episode 1 when Marlene and Ellie first talked to each other, Marlene told Ellie that she should get a thank you for telling his Firefly men not to shoot Ellie. So based on that, one can assume that after some time has passed, Marlene and his men came to check-up on Riley who was posted in the mall, and they found Ellie instead. And that's how Ellie came to be a Firefly captive at the start of the show.
I was on edge the ENTIRE episode because there was too much joy, young love and tenderness. And yes, I knew she gets bit in the mall from the second episode, but I guess I was just kind of hoping it wouldn't somehow? I don't know if that makes sense....
Loved bella so much this episode, she is so amazing. The chemistry, the emotion, even down to the look in her eyes. The stitching scene in particular, it reminded me so much of the way she looked at joel when he was beating the guard in episode 1 that unhinged look in her eye or fear and adrenaline.
Really enjoying your reactions. I've only played a part of the game (Had to stop around Tess due to mood and couldn't jump back in) but love the discussions and the back and forth with you two 💜
I always like Bella's ability to Really act. she's incredible! the Subtle facial features and emotions are so raw, you almost forget its just HBO and Naughty Dog creation., she's KILLing it!!
