Great video! I would love to see a 14-15" laptop for creative workload. Preferably a 3:2 display like the Surface series, with a not-too-thin chassi and a SD-card slot
Also something like a low wattage rtx 4050 or 4060 inside.
Right now the only thing I can imagine is probably the MB pro 14" m2. I really hope Microsoft (or some other company) will pick up the slack in that category. The Surface Studio laptop could be a solution but it is soo underpowered.
We just reviewed the Gigabyte Aero 16, and they will also send us their 14" variant with a 4050 and an OLED. It could be what you are looking for ... I personally can't wait to test that one!
If in your reviews you could include speaker test/comparison that'd be perfect. for multimedia consumption the screen and speakers are so important.

Does this PC have enough power to last through renders of Blu-ray dvd’s? I have the costco version of this device with one USB-c port,
Do you mean in terms of performance or in terms of battery life because you can not charge it, since you just have one USB-C?
Maybe get a dongle or hub to connect your blu-ray player and the charger.
Hello @NotebookcheckReviews . I know it's a very late comment for this 2 years old model but I'll try asking : Do you have any info concerning the response time measurements for the matte display ? I would assume the glossy or matte display would be completly different panel models right ? Or I'm totally wrong and it's the same panel just with matte coating added ? If it's different panel would you have the measurements and if not at least the panel model name to see if it was tested on other laptop models ? Thank you. I saw that you were still responding to very late comments so i'm testing my chance. It seems the matte version is mostly sold in the EU, in fact it's the only model available (which is a good thing because that's what I prefer).

@@NotebookcheckReviews hey, thank you for your answer, however this one is full dci p3 while pro x is only srgb, which makes me think it might be a different panel but it's ok, that's the closest it gets. Thanks.
@@NotebookcheckReviews I was asking because some yogas have very high response time while some are more ok, I wanted to check for ghosting for the pro x I ordered. But it's not a massive issue and if it is I'll just return it.
The things a beast 14.5 inch screen nvidia 3050 amd ryzen 9 + amd radeon graphics for low tasking tasks its wonderful every once and a while it will stutter ottherwise it keeps on cruising

Hey Team. Quick question: any reason (aside from discounts) to continue considering laptops based on 12th-gen Intel chips for purchase when 13th-gen Intel machines are already being released?
Absolutely, if you have seen our Raptor Lake P-series Video, it seems like the new Intel Chips will not offer a lot more, at least on the CPU side of things.
Only their new HX CPU do bring quite the performance uplift!
But we will have to wait and see what AMD can deliver this year.

I have this exact same laptop, and temperatures are unsettling for me. It gets up to 70 C while watching RUclips in 4k, and has weird spikes up to 98 C and being 90 C on average during gaming.
Also, worth to notice, that even running at 70 C, 7i Pro X just won't turn on the fans to cool it a bit resulting in really hot and I mean really hot top spots above FN keys, and it's uncomfortable to have it on your lap this way.
What is frustrating for me is that Lenovo doesn't give you any option to set fan curve or tune CPU voltages and TDP limits like you can do on AMD version.
Really sad considering how much got paid for it.
Running latest Win 11 with most recent updates and Lenovo updates including BIOS update. Cooling is set to Intelligent cooling without performance boost option.
This interesting, I heard from other people that this laptop is too quick in turning the fans on, even when watching 1080p RUclips.
We noticed the same hotspots. It might be just Lenovos tuning, instead of having higher temps (even tho I would say 70c is fine) than ramping up the fans.
But true, custom fan control would be nice to have individual control!
70 is fine when other laptops are doing 100. Laptops aren't meant for laps by the way. Lol

Well, the 9i will be a convertible if you are into that sort of thing, and their OLEDs are pretty insane. But you will loose the dedicated graphics. The 9i has pretty good speakers in comparison too. We will have a review up on the website soon for the latest 9i. It might help you with your decision!
@@NotebookcheckReviews I just wonder if they were able to fit 12700h properly to that chassis without too much performance loss. And if its worth getting over a 1280p on Yoga 9i.

Not quite. It's a very good IPS, but the OLED wins in terms of color rendition, contrast, and of course, HDR capabilities
