Lower Body Home Workout for Dancers | Summer Strength Day 1

  • Welcome to my 30-day Summer Strength and Conditioning Series! For the month of June, I'll be posting a new workout every day.
    Today we're focusing on our lower body -- specifically our posterior chain (hamstrings and glutes).
    Equipment:
    - Bench, chair, box, or stable surface around knee height
    - Sliders, paper plates, small towels, or socks
    - Weights like dumbbells, kettlebells, or a barbell (optional)

    ahh i told myself this summer i would workout everyday to improve my dancer body! this new series is going to help way more though and i can follow along easily, thank you kayleen!!!

    Great description on form and how it should feel in the body while doing the exercises. I also like the front and side angles. I appreciate the format as is.

    Great!!! Trying to strengthen my dancing muscles doing things beside calf raises!! Loved this! Kicked my butt in the best way. Format is great! No changes IMO
