i feel like you saved me. I broke my arm last week and no swimming, no yoga for weeks! I am 76 and depend on fitness to feel well and capable so I was pretty depressed. I appreciated that everything you said during the session was useful, no fluff. I have been practicing yoga for decades and this session really impressed me. i especially liked that you included a balance posture that surprised me, but doing it gave me confidence. it would be nice if you came up with some hands free variations. i have a lot of time to kill. many thanks,

Oh my goodness. I've become much more interested in yoga over the past 8-10 months and am enjoying it so much. A few weeks ago I broke my finger and had to have emergency surgery on it and am still recovering. I googled a hands-free yoga practice and found your video. THANK YOU!! You brought back the feeling I've been missing over the past few weeks. It was so very helpful and you are a great instructor!

Thank you SO much, Brett! I broke my elbow and wrist and had surgery to put screws and plates in my elbow last week. I used to do yoga a few years ago and got away from it when I started Tabata daily. I found your video and just tried it and I thought it was perfect for me! It was like coming home and I can't wait to do it again tomorrow. Thank you, thank you! I believe that once I'm healed I'll bring back yoga practice in addition to my 4 minute Tabata.

Hi Brett! This is my first class with you & it definitely won't be my last. I have a hairline fracture and sprain in my left wrist from playing volleyball. I've been practicing yoga 5 days per week for the past 2 & 1/2 years, so I didn't want to give up my practice for this injury! Thank you for so very much - This video was super helpful!

Thank you so much for this fantastic video designed for injuries. I had a nasty fall 2 days ago and landed on my left wrist. I am a Zumba instructor, love to walk, go to the gym and practice my morning yoga in the quiet. Many of my passions have had to be practised low key so I was ecstatic to find your video, accommodating my injury. Thankfully I didn't fracture it but do have terrible bone bruising and a nasty sprain. You are wonderful to follow and give clear and easy to understand instruction. Thankyou x

Thank you. I am working on an oil rig in the Saudi desert. 16 hours a day, every day for over 10 weeks straight now. I have a scaphoid fracture in my left wrist but, by necessity, must continue to pound on my body every day. I needed to find a mindful place and to give the rest of me some attentive care today and my body appreciates that I paused to follow your video. Namaste!

Almost everyday I search for a hands-free yoga video and try to do them. Today I've found your video and it is one of the best ones I've tried! I haven't felt a slightest pain. Thank you so much!

Brett you're a life saver! Been carrying a shoulder problem for most of the CV19 crisis and my dr has told me to stay off it for about 6 weeks so far with more to go. Yoga had been getting me through this horrible time but I had to stop since I was told to stay off the shoulder...til I found this! Literally the only hands-free that caters for other arm issues. Thank you Brett! My body and mind are much happier. Also thank you for your wonderful meditations that have helped me out for years. Blessings on you for the light you bring xx

Thank you so much for this practice! I am six weeks post-op from rotator cuff repair surgery on my left shoulder after a rugby fall 8 years ago. I had a torn labrum and biceps tendon, subscap bursitis, bone growth on my humerus and a neuroma beneath my tricep. Healing has been very slow and painful these past few weeks, but this class allowed me to practice without having to mentally adjust other classes to my needs or stop thinking it would all be too much. I cannot move my shoulder muscles, but can use gravity to passively stretch so the forward folds were perfect. Thank you for also getting into the hips as surgery makes you rather sedentary and its an emotional ordeal so my hips were super duper tight and stressed. I am a massage therapist and won't be able to return to my work for 7 more months and need yoga to help with patience and proper healing during this time. Reminding me to breathe into my injury empowered more awareness and love for myself despite all the pain. I would really enjoy another class like this tailored to a no hands practice so I can stay up on healing yoga even though my body feels less than ideal right now. Thank you for your post it really helped me feel good this morning and get some more space where there hasn't been. Namaste

@@terentiaparera Thank you! Still healing, started PT again due to continued pain from more developed bursitis. Sometimes we take drastic measures and get surgery hoping it will solve a problem, only to be met with a different set of problems. I was going to return to MT work but with Corona, that has been put on hold as with you. Hopefully everything can go back to normal inside my shoulder and outside in the world :)

I will refresh this video. Recently I had an accident and I injured right-hand fingers: middle and ring finger alongside the top of my hand. Due to COVID visiting AE isn't possible, after an injury I had no strength, now I am lacking patience after being told they are so busy with no patients in or waiting in the car park. So my ring finger is defo broken it looks like at least in 2 places and doing yoga is a pain in the bum. This video helped me not only to continue with my practice but also showed home how much I am relying on my upper body and how much I am using my hands to go into the pose. It looks like I am leaving my other half of the body to itself and I am neglecting it little. Or more that little. I will come back to this video injured on not, just to refocus on the bottom half. Thank you Brett!

Namaste Brett. My sprained wrist felt fine throughout and so did the rest of me. Great balance of gentleness and still some challenge.

Thank you Brett! Love all your videos. I am dealing with thoracic outlet syndrome/a rotator cuff problem and am desperately missing my flow. This mellowed me out so much...now I shall finish off with a heart opener!

This is my first attempt at yoga after crashing on my bike; breaking my wrist and thumb. Refreshing option to feel grounded without stressing the injury. Thank you for this. It’s the best option I found (for a slow and simple practice) when browsing for wrist-free yoga. Much appreciated.

I came back to this practice today my wrist is getting a little better but I do not want to slow the healing process. I have been choosing all classes without the use of my arms and look forward to fully recovering to get back to my normal routine. I love that I still have been able to get to my mat everyday since I injured my wrist due to the variety of choices you provide. Thank you again so much love to you - Namaste!

Thanks Brett! I was attacked and bitten by a dog on my left arm a month ago and I have been doing A LOT of "wrist free" classes and this was definitely the most sensitive class to having limited arm use. As I deal with the healing wounds and muscles, this class was just what I needed! Take care, Kate

Thank you so much for this! I feel so much more calm now. I sprained my wrist falling doing a headstand on SUP 8 days ago and have been running and mostly lower leg and some core work but am very frustrated! This helped calm me this am. 🙏🏻❤️

Thank you so much! This was lovely. I recently had surgery to repair a severed nerve in my finger after an unfortunate accident with a knife in the kitchen. I can't believe how much I can't do while this small body part is healing, and it's hard to not be constantly down about it. I was really grateful for a new way to work on the poses in this sequence. Thank you!

Love this video, this idea. Just did it with the thought that I had no arms. And it really shows where one should go in to each pose with the hands tide to the back. Tree Pose, cross legged and even cow face pose.. would recommend to all advanced yoga teachers and practitioners out there

Hi Brett, Thank you for the wonderful class. I was so thankful to find a class that I could do after injuring myself. It's been 5 1/2 weeks since I feel backward off a ledge while hiking. Landed on a fallen tree truck. Broke 3 ribs and tore ligaments etc in my right wrist. A terrible accident for sure! But I'm starting to move better now and am really enjoying your class. All my best to you and our fellow recovering yogis!

Thank you so much! I have injured the AC joint in my shoulder and haven't been able to do yoga because of it. As a beginner, it's difficult to know how to modify poses by myself. You helped me see how I can still do yoga with this injury, and even to begin to see it as a way to deepen my practice rather than something that detracts from it

I broke my elbow biking two weeks ago and am in a cast now. It's been so much more limiting than I expected and I've been pretty depressed about not being able to do all the things that make me happy, particularly yoga. This routine was not only a welcome challenge and way for me to get back in touch with my practice, but also reminded me to be grateful, patient, and gentle with my body as it heals. Thank you so so so much!!!

Lo and behold, there is such a practice as a no arms yoga! THANK YOU!! Only four days before my annual Christmas tour in Norway, I managed to fracture and sprain my right arm training our sled dogs on a kick bike. Stupid! I was prepared to be too busy for yoga anyways, but now that the tour is finished, I really wanted to get back in the saddle again. A concert tour does not provide a lot of rest for an injured arm, so it is taking a lot longer to heal than expected. Now that I found this video, I can at least begin to do yoga again, and I feel really cheered up! Looking forward to working out with you in 2019, even if I have to go slow in the beginning. Thank you for making this opportunity to work out in spite of an injury! Namaste, and happy new year! :-)
