This is not for a video game it's for the plastic models. Warhammer is a tabletop game first then video games, books and animations are just extras. All of them are just to sell more plastic models not for video games.

The horse heresy is basically God versus the devil with God being mortally wounded the devil being killed however there are other angels that turn traitor against their father and like reality God is powerless while evil runs rampant. And the cinematic trailer is for the tabletop game.
This trailer is for the new edition of the horus heresy tabletop game, which is a spin-off of the main warhammer 40k tabletop game. It's more focused on the space marine legions so it's perfect for space marine fans.

@OleHerland Honestly the lore by itself is pretty all-encompassing and with the horus heresy story itself being some 60+ novels large while only being a part of the greater 40k timeline, you won't be out of interest! As for games, the space marine video game (of which a sequel is coming out, you should check all the trailers for it!) is a pretty simple shooter from 2011 that still holds up well to this day, and should give you a good entry-point into this universe. Other than that you have the mass amounts of lore videos to digest on any given topic of the universe you might think of: from this army or that army, that vehicle or weapon, almost everything has a deep-seated explanation to it. In any case, however you wish to enter this hobby if you want to, I hope you have fun with it!
I think if you want a 40k pc game, then the up and comming space marine 2 or the older Dawn of War 1 and 2, or Mechanicus are a better jumping in point. Or if you want something more complicated, the up and coming Rouge Trader or the older Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 (although that's a space ship RTS so it's really niche). Unless you really like painting and tabletop games I guess.

Dawn of War 1 and 2 are by far the best strategy games for Warhammer so far, but do not touch Dawn of War 3 because it isn't that good. Space Marine also has an upcoming sequel. Battlefleet: Gothic Armada and it's sequel are both digital versions of the Battlefleet Gothic tabletop space game.

The moderatii (moderators) are the ones who help with certain functions in the titan. The Princeps are the actual pilots who control it.
