A few more Warhammer cinematics to watch: Cinematic Trailer for Space Marine 2, Cinematic for Dawn of War 1-3, Cinematic for Warhammer 40k Darktide, Warhammer 40k Kill Team Cinematic, Warhammer Inquisitor Martyr Cinematic, Pariah Nexus Animated Trailer
One of the things I love about the Horus Heresy trailer is that a lot of the shots are inspired by art from the rule books and covers from various warhammer novels. It's really cool to see them brought to life!
Quick answers: The dude in the first trailer is Horus Lupercal, one of 20 demigods knows as Primarchs, created by the (God-)Emperor of Mankind. The 4 Chaos Gods, four flavors of Satan on steroids, choose him to rebell against the Emperor and he startet a galaxy wide civil war where 9 Legions of super human Space Marines, called Astartes, fight with every means necessary, where distroying a planet is just one of many options. The dude in the second trailer was one of those Space Marines gettiong into power armour, and this was the fast ritual. Since there was a bad event callel Dark Age of Technology, humands don't understand technology and instead of engineers there are Enginseers, preists of the mashine god, the red robed priest. They use lobotomised clones with implants instead of robots, because AI is bad. Also the Armour and these specific guns, the Bolter, are seen not only as powerfull wargear but as semi-holy objects, physical manifestations of the might of the God-Emperor, because he created the method to create the Space Marines, who are also called his Angles of Death
The game you mentioned - Vermintide - is set up in other Warhammer setting called Warhammer Fantasy Battles. It is closer to "standard" fantasy worlds: with magic, races such as dwarves, undead, elves etc. Probably you would like to check the the other game called Warhammer 40k Darktide (from the same creators btw). It is set up specifically in Warhammer 40k universe, and it is really good from an atmospheric pov. The music, the architecture, the voice lines of heroes, the overall esthetics are really great. Except this game not about Spacemarines, but about "regular" humans - soldiers, religious fanatics and some others citizens of Imperium of Man. Which is in my opinion even more gorgeous - to take a small portion of feeling of being simple human in the far future where is ONLY WAR.
Bricky's videos titled "every warhammer 40k faction explained" are a great starting point, or his most recent one "what is warhammer 40k? Timeline explained" is a fantastic starting point, watch those first then watch his "every space marine legion explained" video after those, its a good light-hearted mix of accurate lore and memes to get you into the vast lore of this hobby/world us fans partake in and the first one I mentioned kinda went viral for good reason, they're fantastic Welcome to the world of Warhammer! Hope you enjoy the lore and find a faction you like the look of, be it the space marines, the forces of chaos, the all-female order called the Sisters of Battle, or the comic relief faction themselves, the Orks with their big dumb stereotypical Cockney accents and love of fighting everything and everyone, even each other :)
to think that originally the Noble houses that formed the knight legions (the big robot things which are actually piloted by a human from inside) where, and still are at their core, peace loving agrarian planets (yes those things can also till the soil, plant and harvest crops... but don't ask me how... i assume they replace the weapons with shovels and plows at some point).
That is exactly what they do, actually! In the lore of the Imperial Knights codex, the massive chainswords was meant for felling gargantuan trees, the big power fist was for moving cargo, the melta cannon was for mining and smelting huge amounts of ore, and the only reason they were built to replace arms was to make them intuitive to control for the pilot thinking of them as their own arms. The only weapons for a knight that were actually weapons to begin with (the battle cannon and the Gatling cannon) were in case the settlers encountered alien wildlife that could actually put up a fight with a knight. Of course, we don’t have models for the plows and what are probably huge combine harvester attachments for farming, but I am certain they exist but aren’t on the tabletop for obvious reasons (though a massive combine harvester would be baller to play in a game).
Im subbing in hopes of seeing more 40k content as i loved your reaction. You seem fascinated so far and thats a good sign! Brickys videos are a must for newcomers. Some of his stuff is wrong but theres no better introduction to all the factions that i know of. Theyre quite entertaining and informative. Beyond that i highly recommend leutin09's the emperor of man parts one and two. This is a much more detailed dive into the history of the imperium of man and the emperor. This is important as the imperium is kinda the main character of 40k. These videos are long but will be hugely informative and explain a ton. Leutin also has many other videos on other factions and all sorts of other subjects. Hes always been my favorite lore channel but theres lots of good ones. Baldermort, oculus imperia, weshammer, etc are all good as well. As for games, darktide as others have mentioned, is really fun. Especially with friends. Its also free with game pass. Theres also a game called battlesector on game pass which is pretty good. Its a turn based strategy. Space marine and dawn of war 1 and 2 are excellent but theyre also quite old. My fave thay came out recently is chaosgate daemonhunters. Its like xcom but set in the 40k universe. I do hope you enjoy your dive into the lore. Oh btw, people will soon start to recommend that you watch if the emperor had a text to speech device. Do not do this until youre much more knowledgeable on the lore. People always recommend this to newcomers even though theyll have no idea whats going on. I dont understand it. Its very funny but you wont get whats going on unless your somewhat versed in the lore.
If you enjoyed it, I would also recommend some Total War Warhammer cinematics (also known as Warhammer fantasy). This is the part where I should say why, but all I can say is: Sigmar may smile upon you!
Vermintide, is warhammer fantasy, darktide is in warhammer 40k setting. There is two different settings, one is high fantasy, and another is more science fiction / horror fantasy. There is the space marine 2 video game coming soon as well
Crazy how I sent a Warhammer gif in the discord in regards to heresy and you drop this video not even an hour after with the exact cinematic from the gif I sent
Vermintide takes place in the Warhammer Fantasy universe, which is separate from 40K. They're great games, don't get me wrong, but if you're looking for a game set in 40K you might want to check out "Warhammer 40K: Darktide" instead. It's also made by the same developer as Vermintide. I also recommend "Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2", a tactical strategy game with some RPG elements. It's a bit old now, but still a great game.
@@georgieegames Dawn of War 2 is pretty good. It changes up the formula from its predecessor by being much more focused on small squad engagements than massed armies. Personally, I always preferred the first one (and its various expansions), because I feel like it does a better job utilizing the scope of the forces involved, but it's a good few years older and admittedly requires a willingness to look past it not being as "slick" as DoW 2. If you DO decide to go as far back as the first Dawn of War, the Dark Crusade expansion is widely considered peak gameplay- at least until you get into mods.
I recommend the Space Marine 2 Cinematic Trailer and also Bricky's Every Warhammer 40k Faction Explained video, its a little long but so worth it on the lore! Also 11:17 you hit it right on the nail, Space Marines are also called Angels of Death, because in humanity they are seen as the Emperor's Angels. Regular humans see these people as quite literal Demi-Gods, as if from a myth or folk lore.
This thing is really great. I came across this video of yours several months ago. The first time I saw it I thought it was really weird but also really interesting. which after I watched your video So I went to learn more about it. Oh my god, this is awesome. I really like it. The cinematic was a promotional for a spin-off series of 40k called the Horus Heresy which is a prequel game and series of books that talk about how 10,000 years earlier in the 31st millennium the Emperor’s favorite genetically engineered Primarch son Horus Lupercal got corrupted by the 4 daemon gods of chaos thanks to the actions of traitors they had seeded throughout the Space Marine ranks, most notably Erebus, Kor Pharon, and Horus’ religious fanatic brother Lorgar Aurelian. After corrupting Horus the lot of them in turn corrupted 7 or 8 other Primarchs and most of their space Marine legions due to long standing grudges they had against the Emperor. In the end 2 of the good Primarchs namely Sanguinius and Ferrus Manus and the traitorous Horus died, the Emperor’s planned new FTL travel system that involved breaking into the Eldar webway was ruined and turned into a permanent daemon portal, the traitor Space Marines fled into the warp via the Eye of Terror, and the Emperor ended up stuck permanently on the life support known as the golden throne serving as a psychic beacon for warp travel and kept alive by being fed a thousand sacrificed psyker people a day.
Some great games where you get to play as a space marine yourself a game called Boltgun A doom like fps game very fun and The game called simply space marine its a third person shooter/hack and slash plus the second is coming out but the boltgun game takes place between the two games
Great reaction! I also really enjoyed your last video reaction to Warhammer, Astartes. These cinematics do a great job of giving you a general idea of what Warhammer 40K is and how expansive the setting can be. Also, Vermintide is a really great game, so I'm glad you have heard of it! Vermintide is actually apart of the Warhammer fantasy universe, based on a more medieval and gothic time. The developers of Vermintide, Fatshark, also recently released Warhammer Darktide, which in set in futuristic Warhammer 40,000. Anyway, great video! I definetly look forward to seeing more of your reactions!
Praised the God Emperor for He Protect us. Praised be his Angels of Death for they will bring doom and salvation to those impure, heretics and alien. Praised be the Aquila Imperialis that watch over us and guard us in its golden halo. Glory to the first men to die for the Emperor is awaiting us to join his inmortal army upon our holy martyrdom.
I'd recommend giving the youtuber "Bricky" a shot if you want context to Warhammer 40k in an incredibly digestable form. Hes recently done a timeline video that sums up all the essentials you need to understand but he also does breakdown videos of factions and events.
Well, a new servant for the god-emperor. Warhammer 40k is a very cool setting where is everyone evil. How the other say Brickys videos are the best way to understood the world. The emperor protects.
In regards to the Primarchs. There are 22 individuals. The frist is the protype Primarch or Primach 0 or the Angel (and he has only been talked about only once and locked away for ever because he was to powerful) There are two unknown Primarch who being deleted from history ( the lore reason is unknown but it is so players can make their own) And there is one Primarch (20) that is twins. A guy by the name Bicky did a fairly good breaking on Space Legions and the Primarchs if like to know more. Expected the two lost Primarch and Pototype Primarch, that a story for another day.
In terms of games, I make the following recommendations: Dawn of War (RTS series that are admittedly a bit old but still good) Space Marine (Over-the-shoulder 3rd-person Shooter that shows how good a Space Marine is in battle) Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters (XCOM-like Turn-based Strategy)

so the youtuber bricky is a good one for lore for starters as he includes memes and whatnot majorkill same feel but more for the in depth stuff or specific events and then weshammer and sandman of terra are examples of the more hardcore buffs usually talking about everything in depth
The man that spoke was the primarch Horus Lupercal, son of the The Emperor of Mankind also referred to as the God-Emperor of Mankind, and father of the 16th(XVI) legion the Lunar wolves during the great crusade era and now known as the black legion in the 41st millennium. This video takes place during a time that is know as the Horus heresy when Horus betrays the Emperor and leads half of the official legions against him, it's kinda key to note there is 20 legions but for reasons unknown the 2nd and 20th legion along with their Primarchs were killed and struck from Imperial records and it's FORBIDDEN to even so much as speak of them in passing so "officially" there is 18 legions. To my knowledge the other Primarchs know of them and what had happened or at least Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultra Marines, does. In the current setting the only loyalist Primarchs back are Roboute Guilliman and very recently Lion El'Jonson also referred to as "the lion" who is the primarch of the 1st legion, the dark angles. Hope this helps. The lore is VERY deep. There is much to learn.
Did someone say... Vermintide. Quite good, I would recommed playing Vermintide 2 but its more medieval side of Warhammer. You could also play Darktide, its in the same timeframe as the Space Marines but you play in the Imperial Guard faction. Other than that, there are actual Space Marine games & even the RTS Warhammer franchise. Glad you are enjoying the universe & welcome to Warhammer.
The augmentation you picked up on in Horus' voice is Chaos corruption. Anyway, Horus is one of 21 Primarchs, the bioengineered sons of the God-Emperor Of Mankind, and I will list them all for you: 1. LION EL'JONSON, Primarch of the 1st Legion: The Dark Angels. 2. Redacted. 3. FULGRIM, Primarch of the 3rd Legion: The Emperor's Children 4. PERTURABO, Primarch of the 4th Legion: The Iron Warriors 5. JAGHATAI KHAN, Primarch of the 5th Legion: The White Scars. 6. LEMAN RUSS, Primarch of the 6th Legion: The Space Wolves (but they hate that name and refer to themselves as the Vlka Fenryka, The Wolves of Fenris, their homeworld) 7. ROGAL DORN, Primarch of the 7th Legion: The Imperial Fists. 8. KONRAD CURZE, Primarch of the 8th Legion: The Night Lords. 9. SANGUINIUS, Primarch of the 9th Legion: The Blood Angels. 10. FERRUS MANUS, Primarch of the 10th Legion: The Iron Hands. 11. Redacted. 12. ANGRON, Primarch of the 12th Legion: The World Eaters. 13. ROBOUTE GUILLIMAN, Primarch of the 13th Legion: The Ultramarines. 14. MORTARION, Primarch of the 14th Legion: The Death Guard. 15. MAGNUS THE RED, Primerch of the 15th Legion: The Thousand Sons. 16. HORUS LUPERCAL, Primarch of the 16th Legion: Originally called The Luna Wolves, but The Sons Of Horus during The Heresy. 17. LORGAR AURELIAN, Primarch of the 17th Legion: The Word Bearers (THE TRUE ARCHITECTS of The Horus Heresy) 18. VULKAN, Primarch of the 18th Legion: The Salamanders 19. CORVUS CORAX, Primarch of the 19th Legion: The Raven Guard 20. ALPHARIUS & OMEGON, the twin Primarchs of the 20th Legion: The Alpha Legion. As I said above, The Word Bearers orchestrated The Heresy, starting with targeting Horus for conversion to Chaos because he was The Emperor's FAVOURITE SON and he became the face of their cause. HE recruited The Emperor's Children, The Death Guard and The World Eaters, while THE WORD BEARERS recruited The Night Lords and Iron Warriors. The Alpha Legion joined the Heretics for their own reason/agenda (because of a prophecy) and The Thousand Sons joined last. Fulgrim, Mortarion, Lorgar, Angron, Magnus The Red and Perturabo are all now DAEMON PRIMARCHS, and Games Workshop released models for 3 of these 5 so far: 1. Mortarion, Daemon Primarch Of Grandfather Nurgle, The God of Decay and Rebirth: www.games-workshop.com/en-SE/Death-Guard-Daemon-Primarch-Mortarion-2020 2. Angron, Daemon Primarch Of Khorne, The God of War and Blood: www.games-workshop.com/en-SE/world-eaters-angron-daemon-primarch-of-khorne-2023 3. The 40K version of Daemon Fulgrim is coming out next year)
Main problem of Warhammer world's religion of humanity is that... Emperor protects... You know, like really protects from being possessed... You need to protect your armors, your weapons, your ship, etc... Or it will be possessed and will kill you likely before you will see any enemies...
From the Horus Heresy video, the person speaking and the huge guy in the armour is Horus. His father is a the Emperor of Mankind, a supremely powerful figure who's goal is to unit all of humanity across the galaxy. Horus is the Emperor's favourite son, and together they unite humanity and conquer most of the galaxy in what is call the Great Crusade. However, pride and jealousy eat away at Horus, and the dark Gods of Chaos corrupt his mind and he and half of his brothers and their Space Marine legions turn against the Emperor, becoming twisted, bitter and corrupted versions of themselves The battle between the loyalist and traitor Legions tears the galaxy in half. In the final conflict The Emperor completely destroys Horus but almost at the cost of his own life. He is interred in a life support device called The Golden Throne, and one thousand lives are sacrificed every day to keep him alive. The Imperium declines slowly, begins to worship the Emperor as a God and becomes the horrific totalitarian regime that it is 10,000 years later in the Warhammer 40k game setting.
....and so the grim darkness claims another soul 4:09 ...."the dad" is The Emperor of mankind. Horus, the guy from cinematic, is at that cinematic leading a coup against him. "Son/father" has to be understood in a more broad sense... his "sons" are primarchs who served both as leaders and genetic template for the space marines. The Emperor did not father them in the traditional sense, instead he created them in a lab. 5:10 ...after the fall of human civilisation, humanity has a fear of AI so every machine that would need a computer has to have a human brain as the core processor. In this case, the pilot literaly becomes one with the mahine in order to operate it. ....is other cases, like in the second cinematic, people are lobotomised and brain washed(usualy as a punishment) to serve as servitors or processors in machines. 11:09 religion and technology are interconnected in 40k. Every machine has its soul, the machine spirit. And you have to be nice to that spirit if you want your stuff to work.Larger rites are conducted by Tech-priests (7:20 that guy), but the minorr ones are part of the day to day maintenance done by the personal operating it. Some Ancient war machines like tanks, titans or space ships can even under some circumstances operate without the crew or directly disobey the crew. So when hes talking about "awakening the armor's spirit" (9:45), he means it literaly Bricky is a good choice for newcomers. For more accurate and deeper lore, i would recommend Luetin09 (all hail the loremaster!). Also one of my favorites are Baldemort's short stories. He often has a short narated story of fan fiction for the lore topic he would be talking about latter on in his videos
I recommend arbitor ian for quick ish you tube vids going over some of the timeline stuff and lore. As others have said bricky is also a good source although i think he tells you stuff expecting you to already know most of the story so might not be the most "newb" friendly.
I'll echo the people recommending vermintide, even if you don't get to play a spacemarine. For that you'll have to play Warhammer 40 000 Space marine (well worth it if you pick it up for cheap), or wait with the rest of us for Space Marine 2 (the trailer for that is also pretty awesome!)
So almost all the trailers are set in the 40k time way the Horus heresy is set in the 30k, So the dad is the emperor and the big guy in the trailer is Horus who is 1 of 20 sons the emperor genetically engineered to conquer the universe
Stopping by to announce that the emperor has already saved humanity, through a son more loyal than Horus, Jesus loves you and hopes that you can surrender
It is a ritual. In this universe, all machines must be prayed to and worshipped to continue to function, also the emperor of man is also worshipped as a god and as the space marines are known as the emperor's angels of death and are an extremely rare site for the average citizen of the imperium they are treated as godlike, the imperium is extremely religious like fanatical level belief in the God emperor of mankind and most average citizens will fall to their knees in worship at the sight of a space marine. Space marines have also always sat in this weird spot in the imperial hierarchy of command because they are the armies of the emperor's sons they sort of have authority of their own answering to only they highest levels of command, so not only are they worshipped they are also in charge as soon as they show up a lot of the time
technikly the horus heresy this is not WARHAMMER 40,000 it is 10000years befor the current WARHAMMER 40,000 timeline. and the reson why the imperium is how it is.
You need a proper intro to the setting. You've already watched Astartes and the 9th edition trailer, so only the following is left: ruclips.net/video/cy4CJ4F-epA/видео.html
Skulls, human misery, superstition, rust and an odd mix of high technology and ancient ritual are the hallmarks of 40k. 40k games are very hit and miss. Darktide is very good, after a lot of patching, though it's still a bit short on content.
Having seen the Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty trailer, this spacemarine/armor construction just looks boring in comparison. A bit disappointing, but then again, hard to compare to a blizzard trailer.
There is a game it’s called dark tide…. It’s not that good. If you want to play as one of the huge chunky metal guys, war hammer space marine or space hulk: death wing would be my recommendations. Especially death wing, play it with friends. You fight those bug things (tyranids) from the last video.
Word of caution, if you play W40K Darktide, you will NOT be ANY of those cool superguys. Just plain Human and Ogryn Rejects thrown into the Inquisition's meat grinder. Come have fun, we offer coupons! And flamethrowers!
Astartes was my first intro into 40K about a year ago... I am now up to book 22 of the horus heresy.... Welcome to the gigantic rabbit hole that is 40K. Just remember that "Lore" is a loose term outside solid events like the heresy... Its a playsetting first.

One of the things I love about the Horus Heresy trailer is that a lot of the shots are inspired by art from the rule books and covers from various warhammer novels. It's really cool to see them brought to life!
Quick answers:
The dude in the first trailer is Horus Lupercal, one of 20 demigods knows as Primarchs, created by the (God-)Emperor of Mankind.
Timeline explained" is a fantastic starting point, watch those first then watch his "every space marine legion explained" video after those, its a good light-hearted mix of accurate lore and memes to get you into the vast lore of this hobby/world us fans partake in and the first one I mentioned kinda went viral for good reason, they're fantastic
Welcome to the world of Warhammer!
Factions explained videos are good, timeline felt kinda rushed.
He already made two 44 minutes videos, why did he made timeline video so short?
*I AM IRON. I AM WRATH. I AM...* *_ABOUTTA BUUUUUUST!_* 🥵 I've never seen this one before, that was badass!
Wow!!!!!!! Im so happy to see people turn up for so many suggestions and stories
the voice actor that did horus in the horus heresy trailer *cheffs kiss*
to think that originally the Noble houses that formed the knight legions (the big robot things which are actually piloted by a human from inside) where, and still are at their core, peace loving agrarian planets (yes those things can also till the soil, plant and harvest crops... but don't ask me how... i assume they replace the weapons with shovels and plows at some point).
I could chat for hours on the world of 40K as it's been said in the comments already. Bricky's vids are a fantastic start....also hey georgie 😊
Theres a channel called something like RP voice-over productions who did this speech and one before that is a very different speech but just perfect
I would check out the Mechanicus intro cinematic trailer it's also good
Is it just me or does the head on those Legio Mortis Warlord Titans in the Horus Heresy trailer look like Cylon Centurion heads?
Vermintide takes place in the Warhammer Fantasy universe, which is separate from 40K. They're great games, don't get me wrong, but if you're looking for a game set in 40K you might want to check out "Warhammer 40K: Darktide" instead. It's also made by the same developer as Vermintide.
I also recommend "Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2", a tactical strategy game with some RPG elements. It's a bit old now, but still a great game.
Ohhh okay I have seen Darktide advertised before, I will take a look! They sound great, thanks for the recommendation!
Regular humans see these people as quite literal Demi-Gods, as if from a myth or folk lore.
bricky every faction explained is really good for newcomer
This thing is really great. I came across this video of yours several months ago. The first time I saw it I thought it was really weird but also really interesting. which after I watched your video So I went to learn more about it. Oh my god, this is awesome. I really like it. Now I've started to study it more deeply and started playing it and I really like it. I think you will like it too. I'd like to see you make another video about it. I'm waiting to see it. 😊😊😊
Fun fact: a millions guardmen died while waiting the Space Marines armouring up.😁
Brother, then that is great news! Casualty count is especially low!
Cool sweater. I mean warm.
Some great games where you get to play as a space marine yourself a game called Boltgun A doom like fps game very fun and The game called simply space marine its a third person shooter/hack and slash plus the second is coming out but the boltgun game takes place between the two games
“That’s a big gun” well well well. Wait till you see how big a space marine is compared to a guardsman 😂😂
shout out to the random one armed imperial fist who thought he could end the Horus Heresy with a single swing!
There is so much to watch, Bricky is the recommended jumping off point, but don't miss Astartes and the official animated series.
We suspect the voice actor was non other than Henry carvil - hes a big 40k fan and he was hovering around the studios when this video was made.
Big if true
Really cool.
Play Darktide! Good entry game for newcomers to Warhammer 40k
In terms of games, I make the following recommendations:
Dawn of War (RTS series that are admittedly a bit old but still good)
Space Marine (Over-the-shoulder 3rd-person Shooter that shows how good a Space Marine is in battle)
Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters (XCOM-like Turn-based Strategy)
Space Marines are so awesome.
I have posted the links to two Warhammer Fan Film projects below.
I don't know if you've seen them before, but they might be of interest to you.

I would also recommend trailers from Dawn of War series, and from two new game that will release in this year Space Marine 2 and Rogue traider.
so the youtuber bricky is a good one for lore for starters as he includes memes and whatnot majorkill same feel but more for the in depth stuff or specific events and then weshammer and sandman of terra are examples of the more hardcore buffs usually talking about everything in depth
There is much to learn.
still waiting hopeful for more warhammer reactions :D
40k Darktide is on PC and Xbox gamepass, it's a fun co-op shooter
Did someone say... Vermintide. Quite good, I would recommed playing Vermintide 2 but its more medieval side of Warhammer. You could also play Darktide, its in the same timeframe as the Space Marines but you play in the Imperial Guard faction. Other than that, there are actual Space Marine games & even the RTS Warhammer franchise. Glad you are enjoying the universe & welcome to Warhammer.
The augmentation you picked up on in Horus' voice is Chaos corruption. Anyway, Horus is one of 21 Primarchs, the bioengineered sons of the God-Emperor Of Mankind, and I will list them all for you:
1. LION EL'JONSON, Primarch of the 1st Legion: The Dark Angels.
2. Redacted.
3. FULGRIM, Primarch of the 3rd Legion: The Emperor's Children
4. PERTURABO, Primarch of the 4th Legion: The Iron Warriors
5. JAGHATAI KHAN, Primarch of the 5th Legion: The White Scars.
6. LEMAN RUSS, Primarch of the 6th Legion: The Space Wolves (but they hate that name and refer to themselves as the Vlka Fenryka, The Wolves of Fenris, their homeworld)
17. LORGAR AURELIAN, Primarch of the 17th Legion: The Word Bearers (THE TRUE ARCHITECTS of The Horus Heresy)
18. VULKAN, Primarch of the 18th Legion: The Salamanders
19. CORVUS CORAX, Primarch of the 19th Legion: The Raven Guard
Fulgrim, Mortarion, Lorgar, Angron, Magnus The Red and Perturabo are all now DAEMON PRIMARCHS, and Games Workshop released models for 3 of these 5 so far:
1. Mortarion, Daemon Primarch Of Grandfather Nurgle, The God of Decay and Rebirth: www.games-workshop.com/en-SE/Death-Guard-Daemon-Primarch-Mortarion-2020
2. Angron, Daemon Primarch Of Khorne, The God of War and Blood: www.games-workshop.com/en-SE/world-eaters-angron-daemon-primarch-of-khorne-2023
3. Magnus The red, Daemon Primarch Of Tzeentch, The God of Change: www.games-workshop.com/en-SE/magnus-the-red
4. Fulgrim, Daemon Primarch Of Slaanesh, The God of Obsession and Excess: www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Ffulgrim-transfigured-revealed-for-the-horus-heresy-v0-wm3mngdrsclb1.png%3Fs%3Df8b6c8c8e1a60c44437eafe5262b6c89a1c0c76f (though this version of Fulgrim is for The Horus Heresy Tabletop Game. The 40K version of Daemon Fulgrim is coming out next year)
You should get an army and paint them and play the table top game.
do you still plan on reacting to the Bricky videos, if you havent already
Obligatory BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, comment
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE
if you would do the helsreach watch, i would love..... i mean, you would love it
....and so the grim darkness claims another soul
4:09 ...."the dad" is The Emperor of mankind.
So when hes talking about "awakening the armor's spirit" (9:45), he means it literaly
Bricky is a good choice for newcomers.
As others have said bricky is also a good source although i think he tells you stuff expecting you to already know most of the story so might not be the most "newb" friendly.
yeah the context for the first video is like 50 odd books long but well worth reading
Have she done the Astartes?
Mark Louis Sparks Horus Heresy Death of hope trailers 1 and 2
Рекомендую Вам посмотреть ролик 9той редакции, а так же, Империум человечества, от института Темплин.)))) 👍
You should definitely watch bricky if you want a good intro into 40k lore
Probably go play the upcoming warhammer game in september Spacemarines 2.
So almost all the trailers are set in the 40k time way the Horus heresy is set in the 30k,
So the dad is the emperor and the big guy in the trailer is Horus who is 1 of 20 sons the emperor genetically engineered to conquer the universe
For the Emperor!
In 40K technology and religion are one and the same for the Imperium.
Voice actor is good of course, but you Do understand that a lot can be done with processing?
Space marines have also always sat in this weird spot in the imperial hierarchy of command because they are the armies of the emperor's sons they sort of have authority of their own answering to only they highest levels of command, so not only are they worshipped they are also in charge as soon as they show up a lot of the time
In this there is only 2 technically 4
you need to see Astartes to see the Marines in action
still waiting fpr more WH contant
Cherubs was correct!
Please I beg of you please watch Brickys videos! He will answer all of your questions and get you up to par with what Warhammer is all about!
technikly the horus heresy this is not WARHAMMER 40,000 it is 10000years befor the current WARHAMMER 40,000 timeline. and the reson why the imperium is how it is.
You need a proper intro to the setting.
You've already watched Astartes and the 9th edition trailer, so only the following is left:
ruclips.net/video/cy4CJ4F-epA/видео.html
Skulls, human misery, superstition, rust and an odd mix of high technology and ancient ritual are the hallmarks of 40k.
40k games are very hit and miss. Darktide is very good, after a lot of patching, though it's still a bit short on content.
Having seen the Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty trailer, this spacemarine/armor construction just looks boring in comparison. A bit disappointing, but then again, hard to compare to a blizzard trailer.
God 40k

Don’t ever search the Night Lords or the daemonculaba, but do search Admechs stiltsman and the tts series
There is a game it’s called dark tide…. It’s not that good. If you want to play as one of the huge chunky metal guys, war hammer space marine or space hulk: death wing would be my recommendations. Especially death wing, play it with friends. You fight those bug things (tyranids) from the last video.
:)
Word of caution, if you play W40K Darktide, you will NOT be ANY of those cool superguys. Just plain Human and Ogryn Rejects thrown into the Inquisition's meat grinder.
Come have fun, we offer coupons! And flamethrowers!
I sometimes think bricky pays these people who promote him. Why else they would ignore all other real quality channels?
Astartes was my first intro into 40K about a year ago... I am now up to book 22 of the horus heresy....
Welcome to the gigantic rabbit hole that is 40K.
Just remember that "Lore" is a loose term outside solid events like the heresy...
Its a playsetting first.
the father is the emporer.
yeahhh ..YEAH soon will be some kind of thing liek that ..yeeee on Earth , i realy wana be strong ..hope kinda in max 20 years BUAHAHAHAHAH ,,,we all gona die ( me later and old , with girls and many trasure ) ima warrior
I think Total war Warhammer made the best cinematics ever honestly
