At the beginning I wasn’t too convinced about the “Abeloth” theory, but the evidence is abundant now thanks to episode 8. A statue of The Father pointing to its opposite direction where a “light” is. If the Father represents balance to the force, then whatever lies at the opposite side may be what represents his opposite: The Mother and Chaos. Which is what Abeloth represents. Abeloth has influence over both the light and the dark side of the force. So the fake light theory makes sense, as well as the “shadow in the stars” reference. Also, unlike Mother Talzin, notice that the Great Mothers (and eventually Morgan Elsbeth) have blacked eyes when they obtain the Gift of Shadows. Which to me is another Abeloth reference. And have somebody noticed that Shin has white hair, similar to Abeloth’s depictions from Legends? Plus Baylan’s comments about training her to be “something else” from previous episodes and the “dream and madness” comment about planet Peredia. IDK, if all that doesn’t hint to Abeloth (or whatever they decide to call her in Disney’s SW canon), I don’t know what it is.
Sorry how the atmosphere in Disney is it’s a no. The sisters as I said many times episodes worship her. Cause the force is female. Who they would be afraid of is the son. Cause they are a female centric cult. Every thing points to the son.
Ray Stevenson, as 'Baylan,' has given us a character we never thought possible in the Star Wars universe. He embodies the force, not just through the role he played but as the character itself. I fondly remember watching him as Titus Pullo in 'Rome,' a complex hero of the Roman Empire, or as Blackbeard in 'Black Sails,' another historical titular character. He was always divisive and never straightforward, but somehow a lovable rogue! Here's to you, Ray, may you rest in peace!"
When Baylan said to Ahsoka "You can't defeat me" is I believe a premonition that he becomes the Son. Ahsoka, the daughter, Baylan is the son and Anakin the father.
I think the father is pointing to either the mother aka abeloth or maybe to a gateway for for the world between worlds. I feel like Anakin is now the father and waiting for ashoka to be the daughter. But i will be happy with how Dave progesses this because he has a done a good job with his storytelling.
It's a theory that has some merit, given the circumstances. Given Dave Foloni's revising of old legends material, its entirely possible we may see Abeloth, just not as we expect.
Whatever happens, this is a truly dark and terrifying change to the franchise,, one that Dave is executing with perfection, and a direction that is needed, I think you're right on Morai serving Ahsoka now, as the lines "he's where he needs to be, and so are we" lends more credence to this, Ahsoka, the now embodiment of the light, but perfectly balanced, is where she needs to be in the event of Abeloth escaping, makes you wonder, if the threat of thrawn was all part of the bigger plan to need to bring Ahsoka there for that reason, not to stop thrawn, but to stop Abeloth. Also, I saw in a post on a facebook Ahsoka fan page, that Liev Schreiber could possibly be brought into the role of Baylan, someone super-imposed Liev's face over the backdrop of ray's head, and he in my opinion would be the perfect fit to to carry on the mantle that Ray sadly can't continue, I just wish he was here to see just how much the fans of star wars have fallen in love with and understand his character, and understand how amazing of an actor Ray was, I do hope his family see the outpouring of love and respect he is getting, and take some comfort in knowing we all love him and will miss him R.I.P. Ray
Baylan is really heading towards his doom. I'm totally convinced now that it's Abeloth calling after seeing the statue of the father pointing to a mountain range.
Ye I didn’t believe it until I saw the father They definitely going reveal Abeloth(the mother) in the new sequel Obviously a few retcons will be involved, my guess is she’s imprisoned on peridea, and that’s why the fathers pointing And obviously Luke won’t be the one to slay her, it’ll probably be Rey (sadly) lol But I do hope she has a redemption arc
@@georgewashington7982She’s irredeemable. She is the face of everything fans hate about this new era of Star Wars so you can’t keep her around. Their best bet is to kill her off (heroically) and let Finn be the main protagonist like he should have been in the first place. That will redeem the sequels.
And this is why Disney should’ve used the EU books imagine how many movies and shows there could have been if they started with the new Jedi Order. Introducing Jacen, Ben, Mara, Jaina, The yuuzhan vong, Darth Caedus and Abeloth.
Leaving out Darth Caedus and his sister Jaina Solo, was the most epicly dumb production decision in the entire history of book to movie adaptations. The equivalent of leaving dragons out of game of thrones 🤦♂️
@@avibhaganpersonally I'd rather see what Dave is doing now. We already know how the EU went and not all of it was good and sure not all the new Disney Star Wars content is good but honestly I'd rather have a writer be able to use their own free creative mind to do what they want with a story rather than making them follow a book line that has already been created that George Lucas never really agreed with as the main Canon for Star Wars anyways
Dawg this is literally what they are doing but rewriting it then selves to not have to pay people but they are using most if not all of the same premises
when I saw the statues and heard what sabine said about shadows and stars I thought yeah. it's abeloth, the ones of mortis are dead. there's nothing that can stop her now from reaching out to someone and freeing her
You know when they talked about the ancient race, I really believed it was the Rakaata or the Sith race, but i'm not upset about Abeloth being introduced at all. I just hope they bring in more darkside related things. The story just has too many heros, we need more villians.
I like how the "owl" shows up as easter-egg hinting to the owl in "worlds between worlds", and Ashoka symbols the light side as the daughter did. And yeh Baylan wants to bring balance to the force where it all started. Already in episode 2. Shin asks Baylan of what the future will bring them., "tremendous power". I like how Baylan is focused on acquire more knowledge and power, and pay little focus to Thrawn, in search to reach "nirvana" in the force. Not the usual bad guy. This tv show is full of bits of lore from the animated series that makes it hard for normal audience to actually understand alot of the context.
Now I can see that the Son of the Chosen One will have to get involved if Abeloth makes her return to the Known Galaxy. I do like that if Pridia is the home world of the Ones with the NightSisters worshipping them then it can make sense why they’re both not native to the Known Galaxy as well what the father said: “We can use the force like no other!” Maybe he didn’t speak of the NightSisters, but they too can use the force different than Jedi or Sith.
I believe The Grysk and The Yuuzhan Vong WILL show up in this saga. Lucas and Filoni were planning to bring The Yuuzhan Vong in to the last Season of The Clone Wars; before Lucas sold the company to Disney, and they decided to nix virtually every piece of content that was in development. Maybe Filoni will pick up where he left off? There's also the possibility that they could appear in The Bad Batch, since that Animated series is adjacent to The Mandoverse, and itself is setting up storytelling blocks and world-building that will play major roles in the live-action story, taking place 25 years later.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the grysk and the yuuzhan vong are actually one and the same. The life based tech of the YV is gonna be transferred over to the grysk. She would be essentially a goddess to them and if we continue to get any stories with baylon, he would become the new darth krayt. At that point, shin would either be killed or take her place as the ultimate apprentice. Of course i dont really buy into the whole abeloth theory to begin with so wed have to see how season 2 starts up... assuming we even get one now that ray Stevenson the great has passed... may he rest in piece...😭
@@HHLucifer666 potentially but it’s also quite possible and in my opinion far more likely the Vong still exist as a separate species like think about it we have been to another galaxy now the Grysk alone wouldn’t feel as crazy now the Vong on the other hand would as they are extra galactic themselves.
I was so happy that Ezra crafted a new lightsaber. While the idea of a Jedi not using a lightsaber and only the force is quite unique it just feels wrong and kind of wierd. Ezra looked so damn good with that blue saber 🤩
Ezra was not raised in a high prestige academy of force users like obi wan. Obi wan was highly academic so to not use a light saber was premitive behavior . Ezra is a unorthodox Jedi. Let that sync in for a second. He was a street rat kid . Everything Ezra did question the origins of Jedi indoctrination including Luke or lost his faith in the Jedi order in the sequels . I'm not sure where Disney is going but it's obvious they are changing the George Lucas religion of the force
I believe the Father, Son and Daughter originated from Peridea, the Father imprisoned Abeloth there, making that galaxy almost inaccesible, and creating the Tesseract of Mortis we see in TCW in order to prevent his children to wreck havock in the land of the living.
Given how Filoni loves the Lord of the Rings, it seems Abeloth's role in this would be akin to Morgoth, the first and most terrifying dark lord in Tolkien's legendarium. Whereas Sauron was deceptive and manipulative (Sidious), Morgoth wad destructive and relentless (Abeloth)
Anakin/Darth Vader is the Father. Ahsoka is the apprentice of Anakin - the Daughter. Starkiller is the apprentice of Darth Vader - the Son. Baylan might *be* Starkiller.
A good replacement appearance wise would be Chris Hemsworth. They even have similar speech cadence. Likely too expensive and he'd have go deep in his bag to match Ray's performance
I ran a long running star wars tabel top role playing campaign for my friends years ago, probably close to 8-9 years now. Abeloth was the big antagonist in the plot. If Abeloth becomes a big Canon character those people are going into wonder how I knew so much about her all those years ago
Season 2 of Ahsoka is going to be crazy. Stuck on Peridia, battling Shin & Baylon to stop Abeloth's release. I wonder if Ahsoka can use Anakin like a courier pigeon to send messages back to Luke about what's going on lol
@@GODCONVOYPRIME Elaborate then. Because Yoda & Obi Wan had whole 3 way conversations with Luke in the original trilogy. Anakin appears to both Ahsoka and Luke. Why wouldn't this be possible?
@@baconroll88I wonder if they’ll draw Abeloth into the world between and worlds and Anakins cosmic form, which can act there, will destroy her. That’d be the most logical way to beat her…
Baylan saying that he trained Shin to become something more, and leaving her stranded there, might reinforce the idea that she might be used as some sort of Vessel for Abeloth. And I believe Baylan is not being mislead. I think he knows there won't be a way back. He is not seeking "power". He is not actually reluctant, but he always gives a vibe as someone on a mission he didn't want to be, but one that he needs to and is the only one willing and capable of.
Anyone else notice in the clone wars episode where they are on mortis that the sons castle has green aura? Is this where the witches draw their power from? Or…are there 4 types of forces…the daughter= light side, the son = dark side, the mother abaloth = witchcraft power, the father = space, time, balance (world between worlds)
It is said that the mother before her fall to madness would take days with the son and help guide his desire for destruction and help him redirect it into carving the canyons/caves of their world.
i think they have a lot more footage of ray that they didnt put in season 1 because of what happened. hopefully he will be present at least all of season 2 as well :(
In the line art of "the ones", you can clearly see the owl, is beside the daughter, who's head is missing from the rock statues. I don't think it's Abeloth but instead the daughter and mother, both working together. Something tells me that the little turtle like beings, know more than they've so far let on.
It's finally happening all I got say is I can't believe it I'm so excited the Ahsoka series was truly phenomenal series . I can't wait to see what Dave is going do with the Star wars universe .
I think Shin being consumed and being Abeloth's chosen form would be great, imagine her profile with the fanged mouth. Her facial profile would just be perfect for it.
We sadly won't see Ray Stevenson reprise his masterful portrayal of Baylan RIP but I am curious to see who will replace him and that will most likely be the case. Dave Filoni suggested Kenneth Branagh, Gerard Butler, Liev Schreiber, Sean Bean, Russell Crowe, Kristofer Hivju, and Graham Norton ( which I hope is a joke, want confirmation? watch his show he's way too comedic for the role) If you want my personal opinion which nobody does I think Liev Schreiber would do us a just portrayal of the character that would earn the approval of both Baylan Skoll and Ray Stevenson if he turns the role down Gerard Butler would deliver us a satisfactory performance as well. This role is Ray Stevenson's but sadly that ended on the mountaintop.
Honestly knowing Palpatine and his love for knowledge I would be surprised if he didn't know about abaloth especially because she is the exact opposite to the order he sought to create with the empire.
Yes, they are all headed toward Mortis or that family and the world between worlds. I also think the ratings are down because most people don't know about this part of Star Wars and they don't like it. It is too far down the rabbit hole in the force that most people like my wife don't care about.
Finally we are going in really interesting lore with the Star Wars franchise ^^ The Ones are something we just had glimpses through several shows and we finally are going to get more informations on them. And on the World between Worlds, and on Anakin the Chosen One. My first thought is that Anakin wanted Ahsoka to be there, he didn't care much about Thrawn knowing already that there was people in the Republic that could deal with him : Hera, Leia, Luke, now Ezra and more. No he needed Ahsoka to come on Peridia, if any Jedi was enough he could have contacted Ezra or try to influence him. There is some game between the Chosen One and Abeloth at play here. Anyway, now we are quite sure that whatever is on this planet it is link to the one, it is link to death and it scare even Great Mothers (and knowing Talzin, there is not much to frighten her kind). Abeloth is now half confirmed to me. Sadly it also mean that Ray Stevenson will not be our Baylan anymore ... he really did an awesome job here and knowing he wont be there for the next part really saddened me ... Finally Star Wars was doing good things
Isn’t it weird how in cinema there’s a powerful force locked away and there’s always a map pointing to it, wouldn’t you want that force not to be discovered
I think that too many are now certain this path leads to Abeloth and their disappointment if its not true will be enormous, nothing else will be good enough.
Actually, the Son is calling out to Baylan Skoll, the reason we know this is because of his last name, during Norse Mythology Skoll chased the Sun! My theory is that Baylan Skoll will be replacement of the "Son" just like Ahsoka was the replacement of the "Daughter" and Anakin Skywalker was the replacement of the "Father"!
Abeloth will be nerfed. They can't possibly make her as strong as Legends Abeloth. I think she'll be trapped on Peridea and the destruction of the temple freed her. She's now calling out to Baylan and is going to use him as a way to eacape, using his memories of the star maps. She'll then reach the main world and either work with Thrawn or he'll die snd she'll take over as the main villain
I thought Abeloth was like the mortal maid that the father fell in love with. She bathed in the forbiddne knowledge pool and it corrurpted her in efforts to become immortal like the father. More like the step-mom I'm guessing. Either way super excited for next season.
Indeed! I honestly doubt Abeloth in her human mortal form was totally oblivious to The Force! I don't think someone who did not have any Force sense would survive doing what she did, and being able to hold that power in her body and still live (even if in a corrupted form)!
I didn’t even notice that the Night Sister’s “shadow markings” on their faces are even similar to Abeloth’s of-depiction in fan art: black eyes with a curled up black “smile.” Even if it’s a coincidence, and they also don’t want to be there, it’s fun to theorize about potential details like that 🙂
While I’m not dismissing the possibility of it being abeloth, personally I think he’s sensing something else maybe another being found the pool of knowledge or font of power. There’s something with this theory of Abeloth that doesn’t makes sense. In legends they locked her up in a place no one in their right mind would go to and threw away the key so she couldn’t get out. Why would they allow statues of themselves to be built and point at her prison if they never wanted her released.
do you understand what this means? this means that If ahsoka is the new daughter, Anakin really did indeed brought balance to the force by being her master
I hope Abeloth's aesthetic and voice is truly demonic, like nothing we've ever seen on screen with her power being nearly incomprehensible, requiring literally everyone to give everything they have to beat or at least subdue her. As an extra i hope she's got those jet black starry eyes with that wide mouth filled with razor sharp teeth...
It would be insane if it was Abeloth. I don't think Disney would be able to bring her back though. Abeloth is truly terrifying and they focus their content to be suitable for younger audiences. Also, Abeloths return would be one of the biggest events in history meaning that it would need everyone. Ahsoka wouldn't be strong enough and she would decimate Luke. Seems like it's not possible
The only proper way to bring Abeloth into cannon is by building a story arc that leads to the culminating movie trilogy where she is the BIG BAD (look at how MCU built up towards Thanos in the 2010s)! The Ahsoka series could be the start of the story arc leading to the Abeloth-centered movie trilogy!
It could be that they are setting up a post-sequel trilogy, where Aboleth [sic] is the new big bad. She could be coming back after feeling the death of Palpatine and Skywalker. This could bring Ashoka in as the sage, Rey/Ezra/Sabine as aspects of the force and Aboleth as the force, beyond the light and dark. Anakin as the force ghost sage with knowledge of the Mortis.
If anyone looks into the distance of the mountain range Baylan is looking at there is a gleam in the distance something shiny on top of one of the mountains
Abelthoth was the only one calling Baylan & the sisters couldn’t help enough to get off peridea but he’s being tricked even by the father/son with the daughter missing and Abeloth will make out that she is a version of “the daughter” and drive baylan insane … I truly think Ashoka Sabine will stay to fight baylan/abeloth then return to defeat Thrawn in the big finale
Instead of a dark lord, you would have a queen! Not dark, but beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Temptestuous as the sea and stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love her and despair!
I'm sure its abeloth cos if it wasn't abeloth and it was the font of power and stuff, why would the nightsisters be scared of that? There's just so much evidence
the daughter did give her power to Ashoka yrs ago when she laid dying this means she was chosen by her to become the next in the line of the true balance of the force she was the only one of the Mortis beings to see the flaws in how they were and finally after dying understood why they were imprisoned all those yrs before they like all beings that use the force end up losing their way i think she saw in Ashoka one that would not lose her way fully she would become a true balance of the force thus the one to replace her as a true force being i also think that the Mortis beings are linked to the places they have been throughout time and the statues of them reflect they are still connected to the place the lack of the daughters here show us that she has passed the mantle to another
It would be cool to see Anakin be more involved in the future parts to this series. If he is indeed the most powerful being he should have some role without it taking away from Ezra, Sabine, Ashoka. I just hope if he does play a role he isnt just some watcher or gets bested by some random villian. It would kinda be bad if that happened
It could have been anything up until this point, the fact the mortis gods are there is now the strongest evidence that abeloth, the devil of star wars is coming
Great video. I look forward to see which direction Ahsoka series goes. I hope this is the way. I really enjoyed those episodes in the Clone Wars of the Father, Daughter, and Son and of the Bendu
its likely Abeloth would just eat him if they ever came in contact. Did we ever see the sisters owl following around Ashoka in the live action series??? She basically got some of the Sisters life force or shes at least with her in some way. Maybe Baylan was supposed to be inhabited by the father in some way (rather than Abeloth) and thats why Ashoka and Baylan are drawn to one another in never ending battle.
In Stargate SG1 they had a super powerful being that was only contained by another super powerful being going into eternal battle with it. Ashoka/Abeloth maybe Anakin too ... lots of fireworks gonna go off in this galaxy but won't reach the main galaxy and we never hear of it by Rey's time
Really great analysis once again. At this point all we can do is speculate. I have no arguments with anything you've said so far, in fact I believe much of it to be spot on. It does seem Disney (or rather Filoni and Favreau) are doing their best to bring legends to light, but it all must work so the Rey Skywalker chapters fit. The fact you recognized Shin as a replacement (so to speak) of Mara Jade is something which didn't occur to me, but after considering this I believe you are spot on. I wonder then, if we can consider Baylan as a replacement for Jacen Solo (or more accurately Darth Caedus) in the legends who eventually woke Abeloth. It may be the light Baylan sees is the prison where Abeloth is. I also considered a scenario where it is Abeloth's cave containing the Font of Power. Calling to Baylan may be Abeloth herself, but more likely is an avatar of Abeloth which will invite Baylan to drink from the fountain to gain the powers of the son. Who will then attempt to free Abeloth (who I believe to still be imprisoned in the Maw). If you know the legends story. Also remember the Mind Walkers and the realm of the force known as "Beyond Shadows". Morai's presence no doubt signifies Ahsoka is on the correct path. With Anakin's ghost. I'm not sure I saw a smile on his face. In fact, I'm not really sure what to make of his expression/posture.
I actually think its the Mortis temple. The origonal Mortis temple from before the Father banished himself, the Daughter and the Son to the "Mortis Realm". The Mortis Temple as shown in the Clone Wars had a pulsing white light on top of it.
I think the mother is a great story and they will probably get to it, but it wouldnt make sense till after the "Heir to the Empire" storyline. Theyre not going to undercut Thrawn as the big bad that quick.
Rip Ray Stevenson He really made Baylon stand out. The fact that we won’t be able to get more of this absolute masterpiece of acting talent from him Again is heartbreaking.

But i will be happy with how Dave progesses this because he has a done a good job with his storytelling.
I hope it’s the latter of your guesses because if Abeloth is brought into canon I will smash my head into a wall
Agreed.Maybe thats why he parted ways with his padawan, because he feels it can be dangerous and wanted to protect Shin.
Ye I didn’t believe it until I saw the father
They definitely going reveal Abeloth(the mother) in the new sequel
Obviously a few retcons will be involved, my guess is she’s imprisoned on peridea, and that’s why the fathers pointing
And obviously Luke won’t be the one to slay her, it’ll probably be Rey (sadly) lol
But I do hope she has a redemption arc
@@georgewashington7982She’s irredeemable. She is the face of everything fans hate about this new era of Star Wars so you can’t keep her around. Their best bet is to kill her off (heroically) and let Finn be the main protagonist like he should have been in the first place. That will redeem the sequels.
@@jrob4795 nah screw fin and rey. Hopefully there’s a new protagonist that resonates well with Star Wars fans
@@georgewashington7982 Fin had potential and fans knew it. What’s your problem with him besides the way he was written?
Even if it is not Abeloth, the mere presence of the Ones is just great.
Are we FINALLY going to see Abeloth on screen? I didn’t think this was possible but wow, live action Star Wars is finally doing something right.
If so, I vote for Cate Blanchett as her actress. Wouldn't be hard for her. Imagine dark Galadriel being like that 24/7 every scene she's in.
Na
@@avibhaganpersonally I'd rather see what Dave is doing now. We already know how the EU went and not all of it was good and sure not all the new Disney Star Wars content is good but honestly I'd rather have a writer be able to use their own free creative mind to do what they want with a story rather than making them follow a book line that has already been created that George Lucas never really agreed with as the main Canon for Star Wars anyways
Dragons are in Game of thrones especially the prequel house of the dragon
Dawg this is literally what they are doing but rewriting it then selves to not have to pay people but they are using most if not all of the same premises
when I saw the statues and heard what sabine said about shadows and stars I thought yeah. it's abeloth, the ones of mortis are dead. there's nothing that can stop her now from reaching out to someone and freeing her
Bringing Abeloth to the Live series would solidify Star wars for the long run, Im very exited for the future of Star wars
Her being the Sequel Trilogy villain will prolly have put the franchise in a much better footing than it is right now...
You don't need past series or movies to understand Baylan's motive. All you need to know is the Norse mythology.
“Dreams and Madness” are terms often used in cosmic horror. Abeloth sounds a lot like a cosmic horror entity, it even rhymes with Azatoth.
Whoever drew up the character was clearly reading too much Lovecraft at the time! 🤣🤣🤣
I wonder if Shin will end up being the vessel / body of the mother, didn’t she take the form of a Jedi she killed in the books?
Thats my theory too,she looks very similar to her..plus,he told her in ep6 i believe:"You were trained for something much greater"..
It seems the Abeloth theory is really coming together but I do hope the implement other Threats like the Grysk and even the Yuuzahn Vong.
Grysk ARE Yuuzhan Vong of new canon.
Wow, so Anakin truly did become the one who brings balance to the force and continues to be the protector of that balance.
I believe the Father, Son and Daughter originated from Peridea, the Father imprisoned Abeloth there, making that galaxy almost inaccesible, and creating the Tesseract of Mortis we see in TCW in order to prevent his children to wreck havock in the land of the living.
More, he imprisoned her in his old castle.
And anyone who knows enough about Tolkien's lore knows Sauron started out as a loyal servant to Morgoth!
Baylon is showing signs of force psychosis before Abeloth draws him in to become a mind-walker! I love how Legends is being brought into canon!!!
Anakin/Darth Vader is the Father.
Ahsoka is the apprentice of Anakin - the Daughter.
Starkiller is the apprentice of Darth Vader - the Son.
Baylan might *be* Starkiller.
Man Ahsoka and Anakins development in this show was great...
I wonder how their going to do Baylan for season 2? Since the actor passed away months ago
Recast hopefully
Hate to say it but they'll either kill him off or Deepfake......they're the only 2 options one of which could've already been filmed
I Vote that Lucasfilm go after Liev Schreiber. He favors Ray Stevenson in look and he is one hell of a actor!!
A good replacement appearance wise would be Chris Hemsworth. They even have similar speech cadence.
Likely too expensive and he'd have go deep in his bag to match Ray's performance
@@tlmarshall21 yes I can very much see him in the role
I ran a long running star wars tabel top role playing campaign for my friends years ago, probably close to 8-9 years now. Abeloth was the big antagonist in the plot. If Abeloth becomes a big Canon character those people are going into wonder how I knew so much about her all those years ago
Season 2 of Ahsoka is going to be crazy. Stuck on Peridia, battling Shin & Baylon to stop Abeloth's release. I wonder if Ahsoka can use Anakin like a courier pigeon to send messages back to Luke about what's going on lol
I doubt it but it's a good theory
You and Disney have a lot in common. You have no idea how the force works.
I think that hes traumatized and lost deluding himself he can utilize the darkside and still be balanced.
Rip Ray Stevenson, what a bummer your passing was. Also we won't ever get the Baylan Skoll character fully fleshed out since he died.😢
It is said that the mother before her fall to madness would take days with the son and help guide his desire for destruction and help him redirect it into carving the canyons/caves of their world.
I think Sabine was just sensing Anakin's force ghost and not something else.
Yeah that's what I thought too.
If it's not Abeloth, I will start searching for her on my own
i think they have a lot more footage of ray that they didnt put in season 1 because of what happened. hopefully he will be present at least all of season 2 as well :(
In the line art of "the ones", you can clearly see the owl, is beside the daughter, who's head is missing from the rock statues.
A little off-topic, but I wonder how the existence of the Great Mothers will effect Merrin’s story, as she thinks she’s the last remaining nightsister
Abeloth has always scared the hell out of me
I knew you'd be correct Stupendous Wave! I'm super excited for the next season!!! Abeloth here we go!!
Yes, yes and Yes!!! My wife and I were saying that right after the episode ended. She is burried in that mountain!
A horror star wars movie having Abeloth as the villain. I know there s little chance to get that but I d love to see it
I think Shin being consumed and being Abeloth's chosen form would be great, imagine her profile with the fanged mouth. Her facial profile would just be perfect for it.
it HAS to be Abeloth and man I CANT WAITTT !!
It would be interesting to see Gerard Butler in Star Wars tbh!
I think you're right. & if it is indeed Abeloth, it will take EVERY BEING IN THE GALAXY to stop her!!! Empire & Republic!!!
All the Jedi Masters and Sith Lords have to pool their powers!
Actually, the Son is calling out to Baylan Skoll, the reason we know this is because of his last name, during Norse Mythology Skoll chased the Sun! My theory is that Baylan Skoll will be replacement of the "Son" just like Ahsoka was the replacement of the "Daughter" and Anakin Skywalker was the replacement of the "Father"!
that’s a very big reach, because iirc from the mortis arc, all 3 gods died.
@@AnyoutlawDid you ever the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise
I didn’t even notice that the Night Sister’s “shadow markings” on their faces are even similar to Abeloth’s of-depiction in fan art: black eyes with a curled up black “smile.” Even if it’s a coincidence, and they also don’t want to be there, it’s fun to theorize about potential details like that 🙂
Even the Night Sisters find Abeloth too much to bear apparently!
Peridia is a dark planet. This is symbolized by the fissure between the father, who stands by his son, and the daughter, who is missing her head
This whole abeloth theory is just getting more and more plausible. I do hope they canonise her, and I hope they do it properly
It would be a disservice to her if she was just a series villain! She needs and DESERVES a proper movie trilogy centered on her!
do you understand what this means? this means that If ahsoka is the new daughter, Anakin really did indeed brought balance to the force by being her master
Baylon will become the host to Abaloth. She is when light and dark meet into chaos. Father is dark and light in balance.
I don't mind so long as Eva Green plays her, and it is done for the big screen!
@@mrconfusion87 Good pick, respect.
If it is Abeloth, than things will be hitting the fan soon and it's gonna be awesome and terrifying as heck.
Which is what the Sequel Trilogy should have been!
And the writers can retcon the events of Episodes VII to IX as being orchestrated by Abeloth (including Palpatine's "return")! 🤣🤣🤣
If anyone looks into the distance of the mountain range Baylan is looking at there is a gleam in the distance something shiny on top of one of the mountains
If Ahsoka is the new "sister" and the mountain statue is gone...Wouldn't the statue of the father crumble if Anakin is the new father?
Good question!
Whispers of a nameless fear.
I think baylan seeks the fountain of knowledge and pool of power. I cannot confirm if he finds abeloth or if he becomes abeloth by bathing in both
Peridia isn't paradise but it's decent compared to Dathomire so them wanting to leave completely and swiftly is pretty telling
Maybe... But what of Shin?

Eva Green would fit the bill! 😂😂😂
I'm sure its abeloth cos if it wasn't abeloth and it was the font of power and stuff, why would the nightsisters be scared of that? There's just so much evidence
the daughter did give her power to Ashoka yrs ago when she laid dying this means she was chosen by her to become the next in the line of the true balance of the force she was the only one of the Mortis beings to see the flaws in how they were and finally after dying understood why they were imprisoned all those yrs before they like all beings that use the force end up losing their way i think she saw in Ashoka one that would not lose her way fully she would become a true balance of the force thus the one to replace her as a true force being i also think that the Mortis beings are linked to the places they have been throughout time and the statues of them reflect they are still connected to the place the lack of the daughters here show us that she has passed the mantle to another
The jedi, the witch, and the wardrobe
D'I mean warlord
Great analysis, this is amazing
It would be cool to see Anakin be more involved in the future parts to this series. If he is indeed the most powerful being he should have some role without it taking away from Ezra, Sabine, Ashoka. I just hope if he does play a role he isnt just some watcher or gets bested by some random villian. It would kinda be bad if that happened
Baylan is my favorite character so far, I'm so bummed that, Ray passed away.
Got to love the CS Lewis reference in the episode title
It could have been anything up until this point, the fact the mortis gods are there is now the strongest evidence that abeloth, the devil of star wars is coming
If Abeloth returns, Palpatine's clone's gonna be like:
"Ohh f*ck"
Palpatine will be her bitch (assuming she does not kill him off)!
Great video. I look forward to see which direction Ahsoka series goes. I hope this is the way. I really enjoyed those episodes in the Clone Wars of the Father, Daughter, and Son and of the Bendu
Shin will become possessed by Abeloth and possibly redeemed or dealt the killing blow by Baylon, but defeated in combat by Ashoka.
Your videos are incredible thanks for the hard work
its likely Abeloth would just eat him if they ever came in contact. Did we ever see the sisters owl following around Ashoka in the live action series??? She basically got some of the Sisters life force or shes at least with her in some way. Maybe Baylan was supposed to be inhabited by the father in some way (rather than Abeloth) and thats why Ashoka and Baylan are drawn to one another in never ending battle.
the daughters' owl was in episode 8
Ray was amazing as baylon sucha shame we won't see him anymore
Thank you man! You are about the only one that truly understands Morai. Most people call Morai it's self The Daughter....makes me cringe
I play FF7 while watching this. I needed more in a season finale.
In Stargate SG1 they had a super powerful being that was only contained by another super powerful being going into eternal battle with it. Ashoka/Abeloth maybe Anakin too ... lots of fireworks gonna go off in this galaxy but won't reach the main galaxy and we never hear of it by Rey's time
There's a light shining up into the sky where the father is pointing. The force well or whatever that turned the mother into abeloth
