Can't help but think that's what goes through Orin's mind. So much for folks who think they can 'fix' her. She's so broken beyond repair, caught-up in Bhaal's clutches.

I wonder how Durge was even able to lock himself away with Bhaal taking over? Also at least there COULD still be a chance for his companions to fix him assuming Withers told them about his condition.
Only Bhaal can fix you. In the good path, Bhaal reclaims Durge's soul and with it the urge to kill but Withers uses his power to bring back part of his soul post-tadpole.
Technically, Bhaal doesn't claim your soul, he attempts to destroy it. But since your "rebirth" of sorts that cleared your mind in the first place, your soul was no longer fully Bhaals to claim nor destroy, so when he does end up doing that, he only does it to a portion of your soul. The part Bhaal himself still had influence over.
Bhaal was taking over, but Durge was likely in constant agony fighting back to keep himself as he was and to keep his mind clear. During such, he likely requested he be locked up before basically going feral in the cell. At the end, there is only 2 options at that point, risk your sanity inevitably collapsing in on you, and you turn back to the feral bloodstarved monster you were before, or to kill yourself and hope death is kinder and able to provide an opportunity for escape and redemption. Yes
So there no happy ending for the dark urge 😕
Only a Dark Urge who embraced Bhaal. A DU who fought early enough gets a nice redemption.
@@TheFiresloth ok I gotcha thanks. I'm doing a DU who fights against their Urges
Daaaaaaaayum this really is the most awful ending imaginable. :o
What the hell is this music haha
For me I think that 6 months time skip is only in Dark Urge mind while his real body still in prison, because they still celebrating after 6 months , Karlarch not explode and Wyle still not turn back to human not making anysense.
Karlach was brought through a portal from hell for the party. Wyll doesn't turn human again
Goty ❤
The music ruins it
