Love it try to put some under the seats to my father dose that he has had his sub woofers for 15 years he has had a lot of experience with them in older cars especially, and he thinks it sounds better under the seats so also try that but awesome setup
For anyone that doesn’t know not sure if this guy does but my 2018 Corolla had a similar build with 15s and they absolutely destroyed the car lol rip that classic..
I’m not sure how you would build your car to handle bass I had sound deadner in the back half the car other than plexi glass windows and braces how does one build their car to handle sundowns type of bass
@@rustyraids288 right now I'm building a steel cage across the whole ceiling, A pillar, and c pillar of my Camaro. Sound deadner alone isn't enough for this much power. I'll have a video up of the build on my channel soon.
Thank you!! 😎 And Aluminum is lighter than wood as compared to the strength of wood. You are able to keep the walls thinner and in return you get more volume. Also the aluminum even dissipates the heat better. As far as a fiberglass box I would assume that you would have to make the walls thicker to match the rigidity and strength of aluminum. It was also mostly a test to see how it performed in such a small area and it exceeded all expectations!
But what does it sound like? I've made a several bass tube enclosures with thick pvc pipe 6.5 , 8, 10 and 12s and none of them sound as good as a wood box. I work for a plumbing and hvac co. When we install aluminum ductwork in dr offices that do x-ray. We have to use aluminum atleast twice as thick it as regular sheet metal to be ridged. IT WILL JUST COLLAPSE IN THE TRUCK ON THE WAY TO THE JOBSITE
@@JMAGG holy sh*t, well, that easy…. Plexi has a lot of flex no matter what, unless you put a lot of reinforcement. The aluminum has no flex at all, sounds amazing, lighter than wood, and very punchy.

I couldn’t imagine having bass that loud, I like to hear my music
So do most bass heads. You just don't see 5 inch upgraded interior speakers as easily as 18 inch subwoofers.
