@@davidmaryniak7148 sorry for the late reply but it’s tuned to 32 hertz, the guy is pretty big into music so I will reach out to him and see if he ever got it metered
So how did you come up with that port size? What dimensions would you use for a wall with 4 15 zvx's with a port facing front and the subs facing front, except only 41" wide and 38" tall, how deep would you make the box, and what size port and port length? How do you calculate port length since so they give you is port area not volume?
It’s would have to be around 16 cubes so depending on port area you would only have to go 20-25in on the depth, for port area I multiply the cubic ft. By 14 so 16x14=224” in port area
@@basshead-GAMER_JK like he answered in my question, just double up the wood in that section and cut your subs out, didn't matter what face you use to put the subs in.
@@bigz_watts5476 I do drywall screws or deck screws make sure they’re 1-5/8in length and coarse thread for the double top you gotta screw the first layer down then the second one into that if that makes sense cause them screws aren’t long enough to go through both sheets
Would this box do well for the vxf 15’s in a 99/06 Yukon xl ? My box now is small asf with evl’s15’s I have them on 4600rms 80ah of lithium the subs are choked up pretty bad
The port on drivers side will be louder for the passenger or for metering but not for the driver.
Bout to do my second build for 2 15s sundown xv2 15s wish me luck… they are going in a 2017 f150 seat area.
Tuned in the 70’s
How do you charge to make a sub box for 2 15 for a 07 Yukon Denali XL that will fit behind the 3rd seat
I would charge $250
3/4 inch MDF or 1 inch MDF which one is box made out of
3/4
@isaac yo bro is that box pretty big
Yes, it is 8 cubic ft. 4 cubes per sub! That is the specs for the zvx 15s
@@iwatson4prez does that account for the subwoofer displacement?
@@williamforbes9605 yes it does!
@@iwatson4prez can I use this same build for just one Zvx 15?
@@bigz_watts5476 nooo it would be too big
What glue or sealer do you use?
Wood glue from Home Depot
Can you move the subs to the same side as the port? Does it make a difference?
You can move them it wouldn’t make a difference, I would double that front side for extra support though
@@iwatson4prez thanks, what is that box tuned to? Has anyone checked the spl of that box design?

Does it play good? any demos?
I made for a customer so I don’t have any videos sadly

Looking at my program for that it’s showing a 36.5”x6” port, 18.5” deep
@@iwatson4prez thanks a lot. That port area by 14 is the missing link. no one tells you that's how you get the length of the port.

Yes, those have a range from 6 to 10 cubes recommended space. This box is 8 cubes so right in the middle

This one is actually kind of big for those
I would go with a design around 6.5 to 7 cubes
