I met Bruce mid 90's at the car audio phone store in Southern Maine which is now called (Sanford sound) when he was doing his first build just like I was as a teen. It's awesome to see him get this far. 👍
I remember when he started tearing apart his last build storing his speakers collecting all his amplifiers before he started this build. It's a lot better now that I can see from what he was trying to explain did a hell of a job on that project

Why use aluminum buss bars etc.? On a build like this where money doesn't seem to matter much? It seems like they would use copper. I know it's expensive but it conducts electricity much better than aluminum. I've always wondered about that in large builds. I've seen copper before so I know they make them.
That my friend hopefully someone in the comments has the knowledge to answer you correctly
Not many use copper for a reason it's cheaper to use aluminum busbars not much more performance or everyone would be using it

my dad has the estonia record 2000w class i belive it was a sinewave he got 162db with 2 dd audios i dont remember with ones where day it was a 50hz sinewave i think if im correct box efficency is crazy

Crazy how much effort it takes to go from 140 to anything more. One 15 and most can easily hit 138 to 144. but it seems after that a ton of effort just to hit high 150's low 160's

I went over there 4 different and still only managed to get this footage
He needs to close that big old wide opening about a foot and a half on both sides. Definitely needs to do some reconstruction to get it sounding good. There's so much that goes into getting really good sound. Sounds like he's got his crossover way over 125. Way too high pitch of a sound coming out of those subs in my opinion.

Yeah man nice “Bewd” . I pronounce it build but whatever. Who’s got the money for these car breaking systems? And why is it always subwoofer companies I’ve never heard of that they use? Like you never see 16 JL high end subs in these videos. JL are the shit. I miss having them in my car. My last car system I had a pair of 12”s with some fat magnets on them. Each were so heavy. Thighs pounded. But I didn’t just buy subs like many morons do. I also had powered mids and tweeters. Sounded like a damn concert in my car.

But also, only in the frequency range of the sound (for the most part, an explosion can cause catastrophic hearing loss from physical damage to the ear).. thankfully vocals/hearing people effectively is all well above 3KHz. While these sound levels are experienced at 90Hz and below. Loud high pitched noise/vocals is what damages the hearing you use every day.
I got a demo in something walled off pushing I think only 36k watts total with 4 alternators at a DB Drag a few years ago.
A video does not do systems like this justice. You gotta learn how to breathe during the heavy bass.

And you know what's the best thing about EXO's van? He can DRIVE it anywhere he wants! It's not a TRAILER QUEEN like most of these high DB monster installs that doesn't resemble a functional vehicle, what's the point? Their nothing but a large speaker enclosure on wheels. I've been following Bruce for many years and this is by far his BEST install.

the LACK of flex is the most impressive part of this build to me. Most stuff local to me is tearing the car apart and people show off the rips in metal like its impressive.
