I have so much fun experimenting with sounds and systems in my free time lol.
When I went to a top fuel drag race, I got to sit near the front of the stands at the starting line, doubled up with ear protection. The cars would vibrate my vision so everything was blurred for a couple seconds and my whole body shook. Never experienced that raw sound pressure before. Awesome experience.
That's freaking insane ! I have only once in my life since something similar to this at a gas station. A Swedish guy came to Denmark and I was there at that spot by luck, and he told me he used 20000 $ on his system. When he turned up the system to the max to showoff for me at the gas station, the roof over us started to fall down piece by piece. Absolutely amazing !

If you looked in magazines back in the day, spl cars were usually shit boxes for the most part. Spl is a lot of energy to contain. Sq cars were usually decent.
These people need to learn about tinnitus before it's too late. 30 years of loud music, going to concerts and working in construction have left me with constant ringing in both my ears. They have rang for 20 years now. There is no cure for tinnitus, so once it starts they will never know silence again. It can be hellish,believe me. Don't take your hearing for granted.

Not only is it proven from a plethora of sites you could research this, but I've also been to basshead events with lots of people with bad cases of hearing loss 5-6 years after they've been going. Wear hearing protection. All it takes is some ear plugs to save the vital functioning parts in your ear drum and you can still get your bass feels on the rest of your body
@@nickblank5712, Yeah I agree as well. The decibel level being played will 100% damage ear drums. It's only subharmonic frequencies that do less damage since it's mostly long wave physical pressure but will still do damage over time. There's plenty of research showing that.
Knocked it out of the park with this one. My favorite part is the sequence with Mechman Matt and I'll tell you why; you paralleled the story of his business with the story of his demo car. That's a story telling device that I don't think I've ever seen in a car-audio video and it was done so well. That's an excellent style that you've pulled off so well.

I had two JLs two amps in the 90s, now I’m having a difficult time hearing anything.
