It's hilarious that they always send the entire police force and multiple SWAT teams when they pursue Batman. Yet send only a few cops when a major villain like the Joker is wreaking havoc.
No character in the entire MCU or DC universe can beat BATMAN swag. I repeat no one. He is an emotion. All characters have my respect but Batman is the most badass character in all the universes combined, even Ironman Agrees, he is just amazingly represented, the darker version makes it more tempting for the audiences.
I remember seeing this opening night.. the crowd went absolutely bananas when the lights darkened out in the tunnel and he said “you’re in for a show tonight!”… wow it still gives me goosebumps
This scene is so sick but I also feel that the opening scene doesn’t get credited enough especially after Dunkirk came out. That plane falling out of the sky and Bane menacingly dropping thru the seats is so unbelievably well filmed. You can never see anything look that well filmed in any other comic book movie

With the tragic loss of Health Ledger and the sadness of knowing we would never see that amazing performance again I failed to appreciate the third movie of the trilogy as much as it deserved. It has since grown on me immensely. Truly an epic Batman movie.

I was 17 when this movie premiered, me and my dad went to see it and even though I was just a year away from graduation. I turned into that 4 year old kid waking up on my birthday seeing my Batman toys that my dad got me and then he turned on the Michael Keeton Batman movie, he bought the four main Batman movies for my birthday as well and i had a Batman marathon. Thanks for the memories dad, miss you man.

The thing that makes Batman stand out among other superheroes is that he's no superhero. He's just a hero. What he does is possible in real life, it's very close to impossible given the money you would need and the training that it would require. You can either train so good but not have the money, or have the money but not give a shit about the people and keep that power to yourself.
These movies were so well done, the music and sound design for stuff like the bat-pod and the bat are just on another level. These movies are so good because it's stuff like that that's done to perfection. Hearing the bat go over those cops again... you can just imagine these guys chasing a clown in a black suit and cape on a funny motorcycle, thinking they have them trapped only to see him fly away from them in a machine like none of them have ever seen before. Just gives a good idea on what level they are at with their Glocks.
