We show you the theory behind the DVSA reversing exercise and then take you outside and explain it practically, exactly how we would during your HGV training course. Classroom, in cab and drone footage- we cover it all to help you understand the C1 reversing exercise so you can go into your DVSA driving test with confidence!
Whether you have grandfather rights, your C1 provisional licence, need to train to become an Ambulance driver (Paramedic driver training), there will be something in this video for you!
If you like the video, check out our other videos and if you haven't done your training yet and would like to, why not give us a call or drop us a message on our website - www.nationaldr.... See you soon!
Got my reversing test tomorrow and watching the video just makes feel so much more confident about the test. Cheers guys
Best of luck Liam🤞🤞👍👍
Had to take one of these buggers cos my motorhome was over the weight limit for my license. Dealer I bought it off never thought to tell me I needed a C1!
Unbelievable, at least now you're all set to go and travel the world. 👍👍👍
Thanks, really helpful! Have my test tomorrow
Thank you for the comment. 🤞 🤞🤞👍👍👍
Excellent thanks a lot
You are more than welcome👍👍👍👍
Can I drive over 3.5 ton after passing theory test is theory test the same for all vehicles
No, the theory test is just the beginning part you still need to pass your 3A and 3B this will be the off road reversing exercise and the driving test. There are some differences between some of the theory test. For example, Bus would be more and towards passenger carrying vehicles and trucks, obviously safety and security of load with emphasis on the trailer as well.👍👍👍
Brilliant content thank you, I’ve been told I need I need a license to drive the milk float in work as I don’t qualify for grandfather’s rights, what cat do I need to drive 7.5t? Also could I take a test in a van like the one in this video or does it need to be a bigger one ?
Thank you so much for your comment. The first thing would be getting the provisional on your license this will involve filling out a D2 and D4 and getting a medical with your doctor. Once this is done you can come to us for your free assessment to see how many days you would need for your C1 course. Then we would book you in for your theory test and then you would need to do your practical driving training and test. We get this a lot. It's not what the vehicle looks like, it's what the plated weight is this vehicle you see here is an Iveco Daily and it is plated above 3.5 tonnes MAM and under 7.5 tons which makes it perfect for C1 training. If you have any questions please give us a call good luck, stay safe.👍👍👍
So the examiner won't want to see the seat belt on then?
Absolutely not as you can see by the link below from the GOV website it states;
"a driver who is reversing, or supervising a learner driver who is reversing"
www.gov.uk/seat-belts-law/when-you-dont-need-to-wear-a-seat-belt
Therefore you do not need to wear a seatbelt when carrying out a reversing manoeuvre. 👍👍👍
Hi does the iveco not need any extra mirrors for the examiner?
We have fitted a CCTV system to the offside of the vehicle for this reason.
In class c type of truck how can we come to know the distance between the body and the barrier once we enter
There is a marker on every training vehicle which you line up to a reference point with the lines on the ground. If in doubt, get out and check!
@@NationalDrivingCentre How many times are you allowed to get out and check?
@@Quicks792 Once just.
Do you need manual car licence to drive manual C1 vehicle? If not, can you drive auto c1 with your auto car licence? Thanks
A good question. So if you have a 78 restriction (restricted to vehicles with automatic transmission) on your car (Cat B) license then you can only drive an automatic C1.
It’s stupid another way for dvla to make money out of drivers , the reason why we haven’t got enough paramedics not only do we need to worry about keeping our degree in order we have to go for stupid driving tests when we already drive
Thank you so much for your comment and your input. 👍👍
@@NationalDrivingCentre lmao very diplomatic
Gooo on my son
