I've tested the Head Gravity MP 2023 with the new technology Auxetic.
Still a very nice control oriented tennis racquet with a great access to topspin, great for players with a modern game, looking for a good amount of control with a decent power, easy to swing and comfortable.
I would recommend the Head Gravity MP 2023 to players:
with an intermediate or advanced level who want a medium weight racquet (not for beginners),
with a modern powerful, aggressive and topspin game style or semi-powerful flat/slice,
able to generate power with their game,
who are looking for control without wanting a racquet that is the most demanding,
who are looking for a racquet with a head size of 100 in², for forgiveness, access to topspin, a little power, while having excellent control,
who are looking for a good level of comfort and good manoeuvrability.

I bought this 5-6wks ago and found it too unstable until I added a leather grip. Plays unbelievable now. Once I buy another then I’ll try again with the synthetic grip and weight up the handle alternatively to see if I can get it playing even better. I was using the pure drive 98 after switching from the vcore 98 but after altering my FH after one of my lessons, my wrist went sore, so used that opportunity to search for something easier on my arm.

I tried this one a couple weeks ago. I found it very similar to my VCORE PRO 100 as you mentioned in the video. I liked it a lot and considered switching. However I found it a bit too unstable when playing against big hitters. Would probably require some led to play with that one at a higher level.

Hello, thanks for great review. Could you compare Gravity MP with Pretige Tour 360+? I am looking for softer racquet with a bit bigger sweetspot and a bit lighter. This looks like a good alternative. And why did you come from Wilson Revolve to Lynx Tour? Could you compare them please?
What rackets do you recommend for a recreational player who’s starting out tennis for the first time? I was thinking ezone 100 or either prince phantom 100x 290g. I’m also 5’8 155 lbs at 15 years old and I’m looking for a fair racket.

Hello, nice video, which racket is better for strong beginners? I've been playing for 2 years and my strong blow is the right-hand blows from the bottom of the track. My hit is flat and strong but I miss some balls because I have a lot of strength but I can't speed the racket to lift enough. Which racket can be better the Gravity Mp or the Gravity tour?thanks
Jean Pierre, again, excellent analysis… you are an impressive ball striker… I have been playing with the Shift 300, strung with MSV Swift comfort… I was going to test the VCore 98 but, honestly, the more I hit with the Shift, the more I like it. However, now you got me interested in the Gravity MP. Would you select the Gravity over the Shift 300?What string do you use ? You’re the best… ciao, John
Thank you. Considering my age/injuries/frequence of play, maybe it'd be safer to opt for the Shift, easier than the Gravity. I'd need to test the gravity more to see how I manage it when I'm a bit tired. I want to test again the Yonex Vcore Pro also.

A short time ago, I tested both the Pro and Tour. Of the two, I liked the Tour the best, whereas the Pro demands a little too much from me.
I currently play with a 305-gram Pure Strike, the same as the Gravity Tour. Now I would also like to test the Gravity MP, which is 295 grams. I want to test this one first without additional weight to see how it plays, but then possibly add 10 grams to get to my usual 305 grams. Where do you recommend adding those 10 grams? How can I best distribute that?
If the MP then ends up being the same weight as the Tour at 305, will there still be much difference between these rackets to feel, and if so, what could be the difference in terms of feel, do you think?

Strangely I felt the Gravity MP a bit more solid because there's more weight in the head, despite it's globally lighter. Extreme Tour is great for topspin but I think the Gravity MP is even better. The Gravity feels more flexible. I didn't feel the frame bending with the extreme Tour. Bigger sweetspot with the Gravity MP.

Stability and control wise
Hi ! Different: Gravity gives less power, less comfort, more weight in the head, better for topspin. It's for rather powerful - semi-powerful/topspin players. Clash is great for comfort, head light, easier to play even if the power is not crazy either.
Can you confirm whether the pre-Auxetic version of the Gravity MP offers a bit more power than this one due to slightly higher stiffness, etc? You're the best!
Strangely I have more power with this one. I think it's not due to the racquet but to my game. Maybe I'm in a better shape/more relaxed. I think power is close.

Hello, no I don't think so. Speed more tolerant. I don't think the racquet is the problem. You could at least check string (not too stiff) and tension (not too high).

Hey. I'll try to translate in english. I love it but a bit too much weight at the tip for me and my sensible wrist. Great for powerful players who want control and spin.
Would you consider this good for a single hander? Always been told to stay away from 100 sq in rackets with a single hander due to manoeuvrability? What's your thoughts?
As I said, I had no problem with my 1H backhand but it's just my opinion. Never had any problem either with my Prince Tour 100P I've been using for years. No problem either with the Pro Staff X. But I don't like rounded 645 frames. The gravity MP is a bit rounded at the top but it was fine. The profile is thin, it helps. I think it's more subtle than just consider the head size ; there's the shape, the profile, the balance...
@Team-Tennis-English very true. I use a prostaff 97 or blade 98, and wouldn't mind a little more forgiveness. Been looking at the prostaff x but it's the weight for long periods that would get me. This gravity mp has had my eye cause of the string pattern and if I added some weight in the handle I'd say it would be pretty nice to use for a 1H

@@flodar1548 Yes, I expected to be more bothered. It's indeed a bit head heavy but overall the racquet is light and with a thin profile, I think it helps. If you don't like weight in the head, be careful but regarding the manoeuverability I find it very acceptable. I personnaly don't like head heavy racquets and it was ok with this one.
@@justexpl0re Yes I like the pro Staff X a lot but same as you, I can't play long with it because of the weight. I'm too old 🙂
Compared to the previous gravity mp, is it more power or about the same?
I'd the say the same. I think I had more power for another reason ; better shape, forehand more relaxed, but not because of the frame. I think the frame gives a bit less vibrations but even that it's hard to tell. I'd need to test both versions at the same with same string/tension to be totally sure.
What’s your main stick right now ? And if you consider switching to it ?
Currently I want to change my Prince Tour 100P. Thinking about several frames ; Wilson Shift 99 300 g, Yonex VCore Pro 100. This Gravity MP could be interesting also.
@@team-tennisenglish1514 2 of my friends sold their shifts 300 because they didn’t have control when they went for full spin shots and it was unpredictable. For flat game they found it wonderful. Extreme tour is harsh and it has not enough free power.
Control/power will depend on every player, and also string type/tension. If you find Extreme Tour too control oriented, be careful with the Gravity MP. The control side is present. The best is to demo the racquet.
Great Review!. Why do you want to change your Prince? What are you looking for? ... More power? Lighter frame?
I like this racquet but some minor things bother me like the size/shape of the grip. I've been playing with it for several years and I just want to change to have other feelings. I think a lot about the Yonex VCore Pro 100. I want to test it again. The Gravity MP is nice also.

Lighter, easier to swing, more access to topspin, a bit less comfortable and I had a bit more power.

I listen to your racquet reviews and buy products with your help. Would be very nice to see it on this channel and listen to your opinion. this one are the most optimal racquet for intermidiate and semi-pro players so I think a lot of people will watch the video :).

Can you compare it to the Pure Aero 2023?
Pure aero more evenly balanced and a bit more powerful. I'd say the Gravity is for players who want more control and are not bothered by the little feeling of the weight at the tip of the racquet.

Hard to say for the soft part, it depends a lot on the string, maybe a bit softer yes. Spin I'd say pure aero a bit more but Gravity is not bad. Gravity is more head heavy, important for the feelings, profile thinner. I think the Gravity remains for big hitters, more control than the PA.@@WE-vd8ux
