just general advice about hardware GPU scheduling(HAGS) is something you have to test out. For my system I have more stable, higher framerates and no stutters when I have HAGS disabled. So keep in mind it varies from system to system.
*AMD users* Some games with some gpu's, run better on higher texture quality. I have found in Tarkov and Destiny, that using high textures net me higher and more consistent fps. This held true with 2 different generations of AMD gpu's I've had. I would guess it has something to do with your GPU utilizing slower clock speeds due to the perceived lighter task. Also for AMD users, I use the following settings in the AMD software: Anti-Lag- ON (I have this off in most games, as it is better to manually limit framerate under your GPUs 95%, but this seems to make EFT feel better.) Amd Sharpening- ON set to 50% (Again I have this off in other games I play, and only in EFT do I use it. Surface format Optimization- ON (^^) Tessellation mode- Override Application Setting Maximum Tessellation- OFF Make sure your SAM is enabled and Scaling mode is set to Full Panel for fullscreen (Center for borderless)
Great video, finally someone with proper knowledge when it comes to gfx settings. One major issue I got with FRS 2.1 is that it makes magnified scopes extremely blurry. Any idea how to work around that (it gives me ~20 fps so Id like to use FSR 2.1, but like this its not usable with any scopes really).
I'd try adjusting your sharpness settings and trying TAA High with FSR 2.1 instead of TAA. You should get at least a little bit more clarity with higher sharpness and more aggressive TAA. Lmk if this helps :)
The only reason I can think of having this boost FPS is possibly reducing strain on the CPU with a higher resolution? Its really odd that this helps people and, so far, I have not been able to recreate the boost.
Im so distracted by trying to get this game run an look right...i would rather have a solid 60fps than dips from 100 to 65, with micro stutters etc etc. I cant telll you how many hours i have watched trying to fix cpu bottle neck...I have i7 9700k..32gb ram and a 2070 super. If anyone has my specs and enjoys the game please let me know, all i want is good setting with STABLE fps... please give me a comment if anyone feels they may be able to help....sigh :(
considering your cpu and ram seems good enough, what are your ram speeds? i went into BIOS and enabled XMP or UEFI (depends on your motherboard) it pretty much safely overclocks to its full potential without harming your system, this helped me a tonnnnnn. also figured out i had a 2400mhz and a 3200mhz ram chips in my motherboard so i bought a 32gbx2 corsair 3600mhz and the difference is amazing.
I have a 7 year old laptop. Same settings already applied as he showed in the video. 60 fps, dips to 40 when scavs spawn or if there are multiple PMCs in range. Factory runs smooth as butter though. Its on BSG to fix the rest.
It is not ur pc bro, it is the game. You have to restart here and there, memory leak is the cause and it randomly fucks ur ram usage and overdoses ur shit
Did you have ever try play with 1080p , what gpu usage you get with this setting? I got around 30-40% my spec is i7 12700f ,3070ti, 32gb, ssd wdblack sn770
I get less GPU usage on averager with a lower res just like you. The GPU usage at these lower resolutions will be generally less for all systems, as it is a lower resolution (which, TLDR, is just fewer pixels being thrown at the screen). Its simply a CPU-thread bottleneck.
@@klemintime1452 ahh , I got it,thank you very much sir, I just saw a amd cpu 7900x3d ,that is a really good cpu which it make gpu bottle neck instead cpu bottle neck LOL , Did you see benchmark of it?

That is not because ur Rig is dogshit, its because Tarkov Scopes like the Razor or Vudu use a thing called "P2P" it basically means it renders the picture u are seeing twice, thats why the performance issue happens. No way of fixing that since BSG doesnt give us the Option of turning it off. Sadge but no fix.@@JAH1736
sup bro! I have a weird problem. My Gpu will only work at around 50-60% usage when im on my preferd settings but if I would have max settings and just put max on everything on tarkov it puts my gpu usage to around 90-97%. Is it possilbe for me to have 90-97% usage when im on low settings so I can have more fps? :D (ive tried so many things but nothing works)
Not quite- the main issue with your system (if I had to guess) is single-thread CPU performance. Thus, lowering all your settings to the minimum will probably not affect your frames too much (especially upscalers and eye-candy heavy settings) as the setting needs to effect single core performance in order for it to actually make a difference. (TLDR- the usage does not matter, the bottleneck, which is your CPU, does)
@@klemintime1452 Hi ty for answer but the thing is I don't think I have a bottleneck xd. I have a 3080 rtx and my cpu is 12th gen I-7 12700. Just for more info aswell I have 32gb of ram xd
@@isakwestesson146 That's the thing- Tarkov does not use all the cores of you CPU the same way.
