  • Dawn Morse, founder of Core Elements Training, demonstrates Clinical vacuum Dry Cupping to the forearm.
    Clinical cupping to the forearm is a great way to reduce muscular tension, which may be causing elbow pain or conditions such as tennis or golfers elbow (medial or lateral epicondylitis). Plus it can help to increase range of movement at the wrist or elbow joints, and may help with with wrist pain, loss of grip and conditions such as carpal tunnel.
    The techniques covered within this video are some examples of one of the techniques covered in Core Elements accredited day CPD course in Myofascial Dry Cupping, which is available as a face to face course in Swindon and Liverpool, or via Live Online delivery or fully Online training.

    can i use a chilli pepper mint cream like vicks vapor rub for massage together with cupping. I really appreciate your answer. God bless

      It is better to use a massage lotion or cream is you have some available. But if not something like vicks will stay on the skin and will reduce friction from the cups, whilst enabling the cups to create a seal with the skin.

      If you have sever neck pain, I would recommend seeing a medical professional to get it checked out.
      If muscular related then cupping to the upper traps and neck can help.
      There should be an example within my Dry Cupping play list where I demonstrate some cupping techniques on the upper trap area and releasing the neck.

      @@live12617 sounds like you have done the right things so far.
      I couldn’t personally provide a suggestion of what it may be without examining you.
      From what you have written above it sounds like there could possibly be nerve impingement and muscular tension. Try seeing a local Osteopath or Sports Therapist for soft tissue examination.
      I wish you all the best and a speedy resolution.

    when flexing the arm the flexors are not stretched but flexed

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  2 месяца назад

      Yes the muscle is stretching when in the wrist extension position and contracting against a stretch (due to the cups being on) when going back into wrist flexion.
