- Dawn Morse of Core Elements Training demonstrates foundation massage techniques to the abdominal region.
These techniques are excellent for reducing muscular tension to the abdominal region, stimulating the digestive system and for reducing generalised stomach pain.
These are examples of the techniques covered in Core Elements accredited, Level 3 Sports Massage Certificate course, which is available as a face to face, and bended learning course, at our training centre in Swindon, Wiltshire (UK).

Ideally they will relax. If they fall asleep, this is fine🙂
This is a great video! I noticed the client clutching her hands and making facial expressions during the rolling process and i myself have never had or seen any of my clients experience pain during rolling, did she express that to you?
No pain, more ticklish and awkward in front of the camera as the client is my daughter :0)

My first massage session was when I was 17 and it was done by a 50something years old lady. She was amazing with her massage, especially the belly massage, so motherly

Hi ! How often can i use this massage?
You can massage the abdomen as often as it is needed.
If you are thinking from a clients perspective, then once a week or every two weeks is useful for helping with tension, stress and mobility.
Is this technique can be used for tummy slimming??
It can help with stomach bloating 👍
I'd personally love to try this but I'm also sure I wouldn't enjoy it too much because I'm really ticklish 😂
😂😂 - it can be tricky if your extra ticklish 😁
im also ticklish but its very different when being touched during massage bc we go deep if it were light rubs when massaging that would be different.. i live in Pa and not many ppl like to get this bc its personal space they dont want touched but the benefits are amazing!! so many of us hold stress im our stomach, anxiety and nervousness as well reside there. Patients cry bc they hold things in their gut! i hope you have given in and had one!
