Brilliant video such useful techniques, I always have smaller towels beside me to assist raising the scapula, some people just resist taking their arm to the back, this videos is just perfect I am really grateful love your teaching thank you so much
As a new in the field and many problems with my scapula cause of scoliosis, this video is amazing, also could u do a series utilizing cupping with stretching?thank you , amazing content
This is lovely. Do you recommend any trigger work/friction work of lat dorsi, or attachments at inferior angle? Often, the scapula can be raised at the inferior angle. Also, in the case of swimmers for example, their shoulders are very winged for their sport. Would you suggest somehow relaxing another part of the shoulder instead, say the superior angle? Thank you both sincerely.
Hi Nia, Yes if the scapular is elevated at the superior angle and there is tension around this area also palpate for the lay dorsi and Teres trigger points as both or one may be holding tension 👍. Hope this helps and kind regards
@@CoreElementsTraining Thank you very much. I really really love your style of work. It’s so thoughtful in approach. Once I have finances I want to learn with you guys. Thank you for all your hard work.
P.S. I see some therapists going quite hard re friction work and for long periods of time, across the area/around area of issue. Is this wise? Or a simple pressure and hold on a TrP is enough?

What if patient is having pacemaker at age of 80 and having muscular neck pain! Prone position should be avoided now what will be done? Pls reply?
Yes in your example provided, this wouldn’t be an appropriate technique.
Use alternative techniques in supine position to ease neck tension.
This is lovely.

It really depends on the amount of tension and client muscle tone. You need to adjust pressure based on feedback from the muscle and the client.
My aunt had been suffering scapula under extreme pain
Sorry to hear this. I hope she finds relief soon.
@@CoreElementsTraining she had tried lots of medicine but not relifed
Unintentional ASMR is the best.
😁 it is relaxing watching massage in motion 😁
Wow, you work with such a low table. That would wipe me out
Using the legs helps with posture 🙂. Squat when facing the table and lunge when facing towards the clients head or feet 👍🏼🙂.
