I love the Magic Keyboard Folio and it even works with the Smart Cover. Somehow I didn't have the experience you did such as keyboard falling off. TBH, I now use the 10th gen iPad more than my 12.9" iPad Pro w/Magic Keyboard
I don’t get why the new adapter for the pencil 1st gen didn’t just have a male usb c connector on it to make it seem like the older models

My only complaint with the iPad 10 is the fact that the keyboard cases and Apple Pencil support are not interchangeable with the other iPads, so if you ever decide to upgrade to an Air or a Pro, then you'd need to sell your Magic Keyboard Folio and Pencil 1, lose money, and get the Pencil 2 and Magic Keyboard. In the long run, you'd probably be better off getting a base model Air 5 when it gets discounted, so you can have Magic Keyboard and Pencil 2 support from the get go, and keep those accessories should you buy a Pro 11 later. Having a more future-proof M1 chip doesn't hurt, either. Love the reviews, Canoopsy!
Yesterday I bought this iPad and got the blue 64GB Wi-Fi version.
It is a great upgrade over the iPad 6th gen I had before. It is great i didn’t have to buy a new Apple Pencil but still get the new design. I am now waiting for the Pencil adapter to arrive and I will be set.

I no longer watch videos on my tablet/surface pro 7 because it broke and I don't plan on getting another one I'm watching this amazing video on my s21 ultra or sometimes on my xbox series x

The logitech combo touch is a much better option. I’m using it on the iPad 9 right now and they have an iPad 10 version as well. It protects better, has a backlit keyboard, is a hundred dollars cheaper, and is basically the same exact setup. Apple basically just ripped it off but made it a little sleeker which looks nice but in practice it doesn’t really work that well. The magnets slip and slide around, has no backlighting on the keyboard which is just inexcusable at 250 dollars. And is exactly why Apple isnt selling it in stores or online for the iPad 10. Notice you still can for the 9 and some others f the other iPads but not the 10 🤔 why? Because it’s a better cheaper alternative that they ripped off lol. Anyways. I’m not trying to say the Magic Keyboard folio isnt a decent product but yeah…. It should be better for the price or atleast a hundred dollars cheaper. This is a base ipad accessory for f’s sake. 450 dollars is already too much of a leap from the previous model then add a 250 dollar keyboard folio and you might as well just get an ipad air or pro. But of course apple had to be apple and only offer the landscape camera on this model and sweet colors which makes me want it but at the same time second guess it over and over because of what the other models offer… but that camera and that blue!!! Uhhgg 😅lol
Which iPad I should buy? I mostly use iPad to play Apple Arcade games, write with Apple pencil and use Notion. I even use for browsing and watching Netflix. I was thinking iPad 10 or iPad air 4?
If you use the Apple Pencil a lot I’d definitely got for the air 4 with the 2nd gen pencil, much better experience and the same processer, a better display, faster port, and can often be found for about the same price
They could have changed the Pencil 1 connector to USB-C instead of introducing a dongle.

I suspect they have high stock levels of the Lightning Pencil, so in these economic times, it is a good business decision to run the stock down, rather than replacing Lightning, especially as new Apple Pencils are due next year.

For the money, this iPad should have a laminated screen, not the bouncy, plasticky one it currently has.
This should have been released 2 years ago with its landscape mounted front camera , it would have been ideal for zoom

What a confusing mess the iPad lineup has become. They should’ve moved onto Apple Pencil 2 years ago and included a charging dock that also connects to the iPad for initial pairing. I cannot believe there are two different pencils and three different 1st party keyboard accessories. What a mess for the consumer

The problem Apple has is that the Pencil 2 charging strip and the landscape camera are not viable as a combo. So although Apple has a new design to solve this, they did not release it this year due to Apple’s QC not being happy that it is ready for their exacting standards. So the new Pencils and MagSafe iPad charging have been delayed. Hence, the iPad Pro still having a portrait camera and the iPad 10 no magnetic charging strip. It is simple and just about timing. Add in the dire economy and tablet sales in free fall, it was good sense and business management to just take their time and do the big changes, when they are ready, maybe next year.

@@andyH_England to say tablet sales are in freefall is misleading, the problem is tablets are really good and you don’t have to replace them very often. That’s a good thing, bad for apple good for us.
That bottom line hurt me, the go to should be to get a refurbished Air or Pro as they are cheaper and better. THEN if there is no stock and you desperately need an iPad for cheap… get the 9th Gen (it doesn’t matter what A series chip you get as they are all plenty powerful and in the same boat in terms of being dumped for the M series)

a lot of people don't seem to know that you can charge it by plugging into a wall outlet (the primary way to change it). probably because youtubers are more interested in making jokes about how odd plugging into the iPad looks, and even implying it was the only was to change it. some of them may not even know about the primary method either.
I agree with you. Everyone on RUclips is making way too much fun of charging the Apple Pencil. I often charge my Apple pencil from MacBook Air. There are other ways like you said.
I don't understand why RUclipsrs have to say things like:
- I love this NEW design
- It has a USB-C now
- It has slide-over window multi-tasking, etc.
Like its a washed down iPad Air 4, with a couple confusing choices.
Why speak about it like a completely new product/upgrade? And spend so much time on it? Is it just to increase the video length? I mean don't get me wrong I love this channel and am subscribed. But even you, Canoops?
Maybe the things that you should speak about are more about how old iPads are a better deal, the keyboard(like you did), more clarity on the Pencil thing, how laminated screens are bad, but could be good for schools who might need frequent replacements, situations/people who could get this iPad etc.
We all know that iPad is good for watching videos, editing, typing emails etc. and its said in literally every iPad video ever! Come on! Is this just me? Am I missing something?

No you don’t “get” the Apple Pencil 2, you have to buy it separately. On the other hand if you already have the 1st generation you are all set.
The A14 is not capped/binned on this model from what I understand- has there been something posted elsewhere stating that this is indeed the case?
Apple is an accessory company with it's extra needed dongles, lighting crap, etc. The pencil drama on this iPad is embarrassing. Apple makes billions off of accessories because of really bad decisions (removing ports, mixed models with lightening and USB-C). The amount of Apple accessories I've had to purchase is just ridiculous. I don't have an iPad, the only Apple item missing from my Ecosystem. I have a MacBook Pro (2021), Apple Magic keyboard, Apple Magic Mouse all for work, Mac Mini, Apple Cinema 27" Display, Apple Magic Keyboard, Apple Magic Mouse all for home. Then I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, Apple Airpods Pro, Apple Watch 6, AirTag (for my dog) and an endless number of dongles, adapters because of Apples greed.
It is very unfair to compare refurb prices, as some people want new, and when the iPad 10 has refurbs up for sale the differential will increase. You must compare like -v- like otherwise it is not being real. Also, they are in different parts of their life cycle, so older models will be discounted now, but in six months the iPad 10 will be cheaper. Remember the complaints about the MB Air M2, and I have seen that at £150 off every now and then.
There is no doubt the iPad 10 is expensive comparable to Android, but if you want an iPad, you have a lot of choices and it is up to you to decide what you need and can afford.
it doesn't have wide color gamut. it's not a laminated display. it takes adapters to use old pencils. 64GB is almost useless. if you buy the pencil and the apple keyboard this thing is Over $800. do not spend that much on this bad of an iPad. anyone telling you To buy this has no idea what they are talking about.
I think over 85% of buyers will not be using it with a pen or keyboard. This is mainly for media and businesses. Those issues for most are moot. 64GB is enough for business (only have one app) and media (all my family have 64Gb and rarely break 30GB), so let us concentrate on the core market. The only negative is pricing as non-laminated displays are essential in the markets it targets due to the cost of replacing laminated devices, up to $150 versus $15 non-laminated. For some the USB-C and landscape camera may be worth the extra over the iPad (, but as the latter is still being sold then why complain?
