IKR? When young, I was quarantined seven times for various illnesses(compromised immune system). Total isolation from everyone except limited medical staff. That's quarantine. This is simply reduced or limited social interaction. So, through all this, absolutely nothing in my life has changed at all. Of course, we now live in a world where made up bs words like "hella" get added to Merriam-Webster.
The correct term for what he's doing is social distancing. People have lumped that, quarantine (which is when you have the illness so you stay at home), & self isolation (when you may have come in contact with the disease so you stay home just in case) for simplicity sake. I guess the terms used doesn't matter as much as long as you follow the recommended protocol.
So I go early in the mornings for a run (when no one is out) and Toronto closed off major roads to allow for people to exercise while distancing. We just entered phase 2 last week because our case numbers have gone down exponentially, allowing us to go outside and do things a bit more. I practice an abundance of caution whenever I leave the house, and I always wear a mask. I’ve been home for the last 3 months and have only started to go out because our health minister has said it’s safer to do so, as long as measures are followed.

This was triggering me i upgraded a few days ago and dropped the money on gen 2 pencil even though i had gen 1 I thought there was a hack i had missed out on 😂
You totally need 12.9 inch iPad Pro, my friend. 11 is too small for you since it is your main work device. Trust me I have used both, once you use 12.9, you can’t go back, 11 then really feels like iPad mini. 12.9 is just as portable but way more productive to use.

In both cases assume I have airpods. If there is even a possibility of replacing my phone with an ipad completely would be cool. I think the only reason I am throwing in the Apple watch is for ease to call someone.
Dhivakar K you need an iPhone to properly avail all the features of an Apple Watch. You can call and text with it but many of the features will be gone. In short yes you can if you get both devices cellular and get the magic keyboard too.
I am a retiree. The impact of a portable, powerful computer on a person’s day to day life can’t be grasped until you have one. We use computers for so many things and the iPad makes that too simple to ignore.
As someone who has an iPad Pro and a 16" MBP - I love the MBP for heavy tasks that consume a lot of resources. My iPad Pro is my non stop machine between using SideCar and then for simple tasks like email, video meetings on Zoom or Google Meet, basic website updates, research, reading, social media the iPad Pro I used 60-70% of my day. As I have told my friends and family who are looking - if you don't need a computer and want to tackle both the tablet and computer the 11.6" iPad Pro does it for you.
I got my iPad pro 2020 5 days ago and its amazing. The Magic Keyboard and the apple pencil is just great. I can’t nt imagine what it would be like without those 3 items. I got the 12.9 inch and I love it. Me and my cousin is always drawing on procreate with it and we have a great time. So if one of y’all are going to buy it, i recommend getting at least the Apple Pencil.
I bought the new iPad Pro 2020, I usually edit videos but since my desktop isn’t capable of editing video I edit my videos on iPad. I edit my videos on my current iPad (iPad 2018/6th Gen) but when my iPad Pro 2020 cames it will be awesome.

I completely agree with you, my work has diminished significantly although I am still doing some, when I do I use the iPad Pro 12.9 inch with the magic keyboard almost exclusively. As you allude to hear however, it’s just a brilliant multimedia device, I will happily sit browsing the Internet, responding to messages, and listening to high-quality music in TIDAL all simultaneously, with consummate ease. The iPad Pro is the absolute best device in the market for all of these things
Hey man, long time viewer first time commenter. Very quickly, where are you saving your work? Directly on the iPad or some cloud service? File management is the only thing that scares me about going completely over to the iPad Pro. Working with photos and graphics often mean massive files. A video on this aspect of your workflow would be much appreciated!
