Do not buy those Sandisk SSD drives. I've had three fail on me in relatively short time. If you do a little google work, you'll see that drive is an absolute nightmare.
Ah - thanks for sharing - I've been fine with mine for 3 years - but avoid the ones with the usb-c offset to the side - make sure they are the Pros with usbc in centre - i hear this is a difference
@@BetterCreating That's an interesting distinction that I wasn't aware of. Both of mine have the offset USB-C. I've gotten terrible support from Sandisk so I'm definitely not giving them another shot while there are other options available to me. Shame on them for making a budget version that chronically fails.
I have 5 Sandisk SSDs. My first one being around 3 years ago. All are perfectly in great condition. I also travel with them so there are times I’m not too careful with them and they still work great 😊 I’ve heard about the bad SSD experiences and it seems like it’s a couple of bad batches. So when buying, hope you get a good one.
HI there. I also Sandisk ssd and sadly i have the same experience. Less than one week it failed and I have to claim warranty and replace it. But after I replace it, I never had the experience of failing. I think this is a onetime thing. And not all sandisk drives were bad. But the service they give is great. And they replace the drive no question asked. I am not saying anything, but if they are really that bad. I think they would gone out of business years ago.
My husband has been using the Paperlike screen protector since we got our first iPad Pros in 2017. The feel is amazing and so satisfying! I feel like I need more protection on mine, i.e. shatter-proof, so I make excuses to “borrow his for a moment” 😂
thanks for your video, quick question - If I had a case such as the logitech combo touch, where the iPad has an 'always on' cover when it detaches from keyboard - will that still work ok with the a stand such as the benks you demoed?
Thank you for all the great information, I’m a first time apple user and I love it. I can’t believe I’ve been without an apple iPad all this time lol..
Good video for someone like me who is moving bit by bit to more iPad centric computing, at least for personal use. But how did you overlook that the case for the Nuphy keyboard also acts as a stand for the iPad? Makes it the best keyboard option I think

the 1st gen apple pencil also works on ipad 10 gen, if anything i preferred to buy the 1st gen because it has a lot more functions. the charging is inconvenient but i guess it depends on the person 🤷♂️
@@BetterCreating Anytime. I have been using their magnetic rebound case for my big iPad Pro since January and I find that I really like it. I really only use Apple Magic Keyboard nowadays as a wireless charging dock.
Sadly I just found out the rebound case does not have the same magnets as their rebound keyboard case so interchanging them when you don't want to carry around the keyboard isn't possible. Unless you want to take off the case everytime. But great products otherwise.
7:00 To use Apple Magic Keyboard, do you need to turn on Full Keyboard Access in iPad Settings under Accessibility options? Looked: - Yes. Thanks for your interesting video. I would love a magnetic stand but I read that the magnetism wears off so they start slipping. I presume you’ve had yours for a while now and haven’t had that problem ?
No, my magflott has been great for 2 1/2 years now. I do find the Benks one a little more tricky to locate the iPad onto at times, but the flexible positions are excellent.
That Orion capture card is really cool. I never thought there would be such a thing for ipads. The keyboards and other things are certainly essentials but boring tech that always get recommended.
Yeah the capture card and Orion app are worth trying. I have since found thou there is a slight lag if using with OBS between sound and video - so maybe this cheap option is not right for streamers - but great for a monitor! :)
Enjoyed the video minus paperlike. It is advertised everywhere so I bought it and unless you are a drawing 50% of the time it is not worth it. It reduced the readability outside and made the screen blurry. It did have a nice paper feel to it but that is it.
Even when drawing it’s not really that worth it too since it chips away the nibs of the Apple Pencil faster, to the point where you'll have to replace it every 3 months
@@enashimo have you used paperlike with official nibs? Im not an apple fanboy or anything, but they’re obviously superior to 3rd party ones, and wear out less frequently. I had my apple pencil for around 5 years and only really needed to buy nibs once, used 3 nibs ever. But, as op mentioned, paperlike is really only the best for artists or writers, it’s just an expensive screen protector otherwise. Im an artist, and use paperlike, and never noted any extra wear on the nib, in fact the nib was more likely to scratch the screen protector. Im interested to hear about your experience if you’re willing to share!
