Thanks for this vid. I’m getting my first bow for hunting next week. Coming from rifle I don’t know anyone who hunts with a bow. So RUclips has been good at helping me figure out a lot of questions I have.
What did you end up getting?
I like Bear and Mission at the $499 and below price point but would like to go with a Prime bow for around $1k one of these years
@@chief5981 I ended up getting the Bear Alaskan XT in black with multi cam limbs. It’s the RTH package. I changed out my string and peep sight and left everything else. I want to get a good feel for what it came with before making anymore upgrades. I almost went with a Prime that was on sale, but I was set on the Bear. Pretty excited for my first hunt. Won’t be able to hunt opening week because of work but when I get back from working, I’ll have some time to go hunt.

It’s a hobby that lends itself to the type of people who prioritize improving themselves
I’m not jacked by any means but you start shooting enough and you realize you start building muscle. Last year I had problems pulling back 45lbs. Now I’m pulling 65 fairly easy. The let off also plays a part in that as well
He is not that jacked because of Archery but because he is an Archer doing a lot of training 😉
