I've been shooting this thing for almost a year now and it hasn't let me down so far. Rock solid contruction and exremely precise when properly shot in.
I still use a CBE TL 3 slider from a few ago. Just a good solid hunting sight. I hate red fiber optic cable and rebuilt mine to top and bottom blue and green in the center. Wasn’t a big deal just gotta be very very slow and exact. It’s been on many outings with zero issues. Good review Mr. 👍👍👀
Trophy Ridge has the React v5. It has 5 vertical pins. Once you sight in the 20 and 60 the middle three adjust automatically. It first came out in 2016. Before that, they had the Peak vertical 5 pin with 5 independently adjustable vertical pins.
Thank you Josh great video. You make everything so easy. Your knowledge of products is unreal. You are really helping me out Thank you and God's Blessings
Been using the engage hybrid 3 pin for the past couple years, sight is rugged and has all the major features your looking for. This new vertical 3 pin has my interest big time since it’s a lot lighter then my engage
Just got this sight and installed on bow, shot at 20 and it's on target. Set pins based on the sight I removed and located on bow the same for extension out front and height. Picked a sight tape (L) based on old sight pins and installed it. The micro knob is a little close to the elevation star so fingers hit micro knob. Still have to shoot at distance. Pins are not as bright as BG. I've been shooting a Trophy Ridge V5 for many years so I'm partial to vertical pin sights.
Awesome review. I'll likely be switching from my fixed pin Black Gold to this, or a Black Gold slider....your videos are super helpful in spending my money.
All I run is CBE. Engage Hybrid and 2 Trek Pros. My bridgelock adapter was actually a little tight for my liking but it locks right down. The secret is out but the scope rod on the trek pros will also fit a UV if you turn the rod 90°. Alternatively you can buy the .433 rod which will snug down in the CBE chassis.
Just bought the CBE Trex single pin today and so far it's easy to sight in. I had the redline single pin dovetail DTM sight and I thought I loved it till I bought the CBE, Don't get me wrong Redline is making great sights. I was looking for the Redline torch sight but my pro shop didn't carry them.
Black gold sights are great for leaving unlocked, I never lock mine and it holds whatever yardage I last had. My only complaint is the floater pin isn’t small enough I believe it’s a .19 just looking compared to me 20 and 30 yard pins. In a blind I wish I had added the sight light but other than that I have really enjoyed my ascent.
The nice thing about metal sight tapes is you can stick a plastic sight tape over the top of ones that are way outside your sight tape range and now that plastic one can be taken off, reused, etc...I've done that with my landslyde.
I've had the Engage hybrid for 2 years and it's been solid. The sight tape plates (12 different options) will cover almost any setup with relative accuracy. Obviously if you are an above average shooter you may notice a gap in one plate to the next but let's be honest, 98% of archers aren't going to be able to tell. The slide is still just as tight as when new and I often don't need to lock it down as it doesn't move. I am intrigued with the 3 pin vertical format though. I wonder if the sight can be swapped to the Engage hybrid ?
As a new archer I have really enjoyed CBE products from the Scott releases to sights and my hunting quiver. This three pin looks super clean. Also get checked out for astigmatism
also have been looking at this sight currently use the engage hybrid single pin like the fact that the new metal tapes go out to 130 on some of the tapes
I am running the trek pro on my 3d hunter class setup and I couldn't ask for more, it works really well, I am a little odd and prefer horizontal pins though, and some of the pins micro adjust great and some seem to not always want to catch the threads, had same issue with engage but if you mess with it you can normally get it to work
You've talk about angling your scope a little bit. How much? And which way? Top towards you or towards the string, or away from you and away from the string? Thanks for videos.
Hey mfjj absolutely love your content wanted to let you know I have the CBE trick pro 3-pin adjustable I hardly ever lock the slide I have five little shooters that follow me around with their own bow and often tell me to shoot different targets keeps it fun I have never had a problem with it self adjusting my only complaint with it would be the windage lock if you adjusted too tight you can pick some extra yards as it forces this site down I keep mine only just barely tight so I do not lose the screw outside of that absolutely love this site
other than the "max distance" drawback, is there any good reason NOT to use the top pin as a slider? i like the open sight picture of the top pin, especially at distance.
Hey MFJJ, is there any chance you could do a review on the Throphy Ridge Digital React Pro Trio? I'd like to hear your thoughts on the build quality, usage passed 100 yards etc. And if you don't then I just want to say keep up the awesome work.
I've used the digital trophy ridge for almost a year now and I have literally zero complaints. I used the universal scope mount to put a uv3xl scope on mine and it's dead accurate. I've shot out to 135-140 yards with no scope clearance problems
@@tylerwatkins6319 Hey man, thank you so much for giving me your thoughts even though this comment is old. I've ordered it and it should come for me soon 😁💪
It looks like the lever tensioner blocks your view of some of the yardage tape. Does that seem to be an issue and is it awkward with the lever being on the opposite side of the yardage knob?
Definitely interested in the New sites currently shoot a black gold site and a hamski rest CBE also has an all metal cable driven rest that I am wanting to look Into maybe you could check that out.
I really enjoyed my cbe, till I realized the windage lock down affects the vertical depending on how hard you lock it down, and my original bridge lock bar was too tight on some finishes, so they undersized a bunch for their fix
How did this workout for you? Really intrigued by this site then saw 2 of these comments. Is it the micro adjust lock? Or the course adjustment bolts that cause this
Purchased sight . There’s a couple things I dislike about it . Light kit squeaks loudly when turning on and off . Pins are dull . And the first and second axis adjustment will move after being tightened if you put a bit of pressure on sight . I just did a simple check to see if bubble returned to normal ( almost like simulating bumping into a tree or what have you ) . I like the weight of the sight , thin pin rods and housing size . This sight basically needs spot hogg’s durability and it would be perfect . It will be better if the pins came in a straight orientation as well . Crooked . Unsure if I will keep this sight or not . Can’t find many opinions on it from people who have used it .
I would buy the spot Hogg boonie which won’t ship until June ish but you can pre order . I returned the CBE . Made in china and even though It looks nice , when tightened the sight will move if bumped or you put pressure on it . The axis adjustments won’t stay . For the money spot Hogg is better or any other sight really .
CBE makes nice sites. Unfortunately, one cannot purchase a direct mount (separately, like the PM or BM) to install it on the Trek Pro Micro 3 sight. (Like their competitors) This is my primary challenge with CBE, for those of us that do not have a bow to accept the PM and/or are not fans of using dovetails for hunting.
Hi mfjj I’m inquiring about the react trophy ridge compound sight that’s been out a while about nine years and I don’t know if you have done a review of it yet and if it’s good for the longer range shots?
Another epic fail by a sight company putting an offset way back behind the 1st axis. I know I have said this numerous times on your videos and should be pointed out more often. If you can't be like HHA and put the offset in front of the second axis you are totally defeating the purpose of the Bridgelock. All the weight is shifted back out to where you would normally mount the sight. Axcel Landslyde works with theirs but only with a 31mm scope. Axcel additional accessory offset is back by the 1st...why didn't they just build the offset by the second where three additional drillings already are? Great job HHA once again!
Hey mfjj, just bought a cbe trek pro v3 because of you revue..and it's awful! Can't see the bubble because of the bulkiness of the bottom pin bracket. Pins don't light up shooting interior at all! No windage marks!? I replace my sight for that one for shooting a tac in vermont as it had a 130 yards 3 pind capability. It's not good... I ordered a 41mm lens for it , and it doesn't fit! But it does fit my accu hunter that I replaced it for...no hating here ...but not shure about that sight! Mad as fuck..you should shoot them after bench reviewing them! ..
I am a Dealer for CBE and there are 4 small allen head screws you can loosen to fine adjust in order to use the sight all the way up at 20.
Hey Mr. Dealer, is there a way to change the 3 pin horizontal housing to vertical?
if the second pin is "fixed" wouldnt you need to adjust the whole thing to get the 2nd pin at 30 with the sliding part, then adjust the 20 ?
There are 4 allen screws on the sides that let you move the housing independently to max out your top pin.
Don't waste your time. MFjj knows everything. Just ask him.
MFJJ, what size was the Allen for zero stop? I’ve got a bunch of Allen kits and non fit. I think it’s kinda dumb cbe didn’t send a small Allen

Great review! I use the trek 3pin from last year, so the fact they stacked them ....AMAZING! def a rugged sight and half the cost of most others

We need a new intro with the man cave!
Loving this, reminds me of my old trophy ridge.
Legend! Love listening to your professional honest opinion
Glad you posted this video looking to switch out my triple stack to this sight to lighten my bow up a bit
Me too, is it worth the swap out?
Great video as always man ever since you dropped your first video your my go to channel on everything archery keep 'em coming bud!
I’ve been looking at this sight. Currently shooting the hybrid engage 3pin and have been wanting something new.
Same. My eyes lit up when CBE dropped the video

I love my CBE Trek 3. Hunting public land by boat and atv puts a lot of punishment on archery equipment and this thing help up to that flawlessly.
I love my cbe tactic hybrid and you can move the slide and not have to lock it down I just ordered the trek 2v
What’s the difference between the trek 2v and trek pro 2v
As a new archer I have really enjoyed CBE products from the Scott releases to sights and my hunting quiver. This three pin looks super clean. Also get checked out for astigmatism
Thanks for the video , eye issue sounds like cataract or astigmatism . I’ve had both since I was 25 due to eye surgery’s and have same issue .
love the videos. thanks for all your work put into them.
you can move the scope on its own. Its not very user friendly but you can. Its 4 very small allen screws near the slide knob
also have been looking at this sight currently use the engage hybrid single pin like the fact that the new metal tapes go out to 130 on some of the tapes

Congratulations great buck🤙🏽
I have loved my Trek pro, the only thing i have noticed is that the yardage indicators are not that robust and could use a revamp.

@kevinking8116 how have you liked it?
That sight looks a lot like the Axcel accuhunter with the rail style and the triangle drive knob
The only other manufacturer with fixed 3 pin on a slider is Dialed Archery with the Arxos.
The regular trek is awesome . Dual indicators micro pin adjustment carbon bar and rheostat

So would it fit the matthews? You switched bows when it got tricky
You gonna review the UV3 XL 3 pin scope sometime soon?
I would love to see you review sword sights.

@@SkyHounddroneservices appreciate the honest answer bro thanks
Would you roll with this over the Black Gold Dual trac ???
I like it but I’ve never had a sight that took me as long as it did to set this one up
How many different sizes Allen keys you need?
