yup
Sirius > victory (and Easton for that mater).
The ones that complain about American made lol just like yall phones, you’re using right know? Most of y’all have iPhones and Samsung but complain about some arrows not being made in the country?? 😂🥸🥸🧐🧐 you should be more worried about getting hacked!! Haha 😂 😂 or start a business, and make more arrows from here! Including phones! lol 😮😮😮
I’ve heard rumors the next arrow that UV is making will be chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor
That might be the only UV product I can get on board with.
@@jakevanness1373 I’ve heard that they’ve actually partnered with Elon Musk to mine precious metals off of comets and use that to make the next iteration of their slider.
😂
😂
Only $1500 for 6..😂
Always shot Easton’s. Always will. Hyped they finally revamped the 5mm
Clinton, thank you for supporting our American made arrow company 🇺🇸🙏
So glad Easton finally getting the recognition they deserve!!!
🙏🙏 thank you for supporting Easton.
Easton get PLENTY of recognition mate
Enjoy the videos! Can you please make a video comparing the Easton 5.0 and the Victory HLR arrow? I am very interested to see how these two new arrows stack up against each other.
Buy American made !
Our shop in Superior, WI. Will have them soon. I can custom order them now, and will have them in stock after our Easton rep stops at the shop.
Also can’t wait to buy my new bow at your new store. I’m holding off buying the new Mathew’s so I can buy it in your store. Thanks and hopefully I’ll finally meet you.
Great these manufacturers are exploring new arrow options. hope it keeps up. Id like to see a 4mm around the low 8 gpi range in the 300 to 250 spine range
Great review, love the shirt! Jar of flies.... Incredible album
So excited for this. Been shooting match grade axis 300s for years. Loaded. 28” 550 grains. I’m gonna go to a 250 spine with 100 grain iron will hits and collars. Fantastic! So excited
Thank you for supporting our company 🇺🇸💪
Love the kids desk. Just playing love the work you do for the world of archery!! And have learned a tremendous amount from you.
So what’s going to be the go to arrow? The 5.0 or the Victory HLR’s? I’m split in between the two. I like the victory’s, but I’m really liking the Easton components and made in the USA
I love Easton arrows and I have been shooting almost only Easton arrows all my life. I don't really need new arrows as of now, but if I did, these looks really nice, I still have a bunch of Easton Bowfire 6,5 mm arrows and shafts, that I use for 3D. I have started building a new set of Easton ACC arrows, that I'll use for outdoor target and also earlier this year, I just refletched my Easton Triumph arrows, that I use for indoor target. They are still as straight as new. I still have some old ACC's - don't know how old they are - but also as straight as new, as far as I can tell, by spinning them in the hand. Easton simply makes excellent arrows.
Thank you for the kind words! We value your support and passion towards the sport of archery!
RIP XV’s 300 spine @ 7.6 goi have been my go to. 3 fletch with nocturnal nocks and 150 grain iron will wide single bevel. FOC around 17.5. Loving my setup but will try these out at some point.
First time viewer of your video,Loving Easton, started with aluminum, went to graphite 6.5 ,these look nice ,.great shirt
Just something I’ve noticed with my grain scale, but my readings tend to shift a little as I keep weighing things. If I tear it, then the weights get more consistent again. Just noticed your first arrow was 285 grains, then all 284.5, and then all 284.0. Just a thought, maybe tearing your scale after every few arrows would show the arrows to be even more consistent 👍
Tare
@ ewe our write, butt theirs know knead two tare Mii aye knew won!
Was thinking the same thing.
@@jamescoleman3024
Hilarious!
Thanks for highlighting the fact that Easton arrows are made in USA!!!!!!!!! It’s ridiculous that we’re buying brands made by our #1 geopolitical threat, and no one is talking about this.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 made right here in Salt Lake City, UT. Thank you for supporting easton 🫡🤜🤛
Where was your phone/tablet/tv made?
Can you make a video comparing these to the VAP HLR arrows? What’s the benefits and drawbacks of each one
Will you have some of the new FMJ Max arrows to review? Would love to order some on your website when they become available.
This is exactly what i have been looking for. Only shooting 60 lbs and the stiffer spine arrows are generally to dam heavy. I have so
So much drop on my arrows . But the 400 spine i shot this year seens way to week. Looking forward to trying these .
did you not see the black label quantum?
350 spine black eagle carnivore or rampage if you need 5mm.
We know you’ll love them 💪
@@EastonTechnicalProd so these don’t have a spine?
@gorrila41 Yes, I did, that is actually what i was thinking about switching to.
Can you explain why your odd fletch faces downwards and not up?? I've noticed that in all of your recent videos and would love to know why!!
So what bow quiver fo you use to accomodate smaller diameter arrows?
Still shooting the Easton 6.5 bowhunter arrows. May switch to these next.
You guys rock keep up the good work. Love the show!
Finally better knocks available from Easton hope they make available for 6.0
So, basically Easton finally makes a RIP TKO.
But no seam
In America.
Good job
RIP TKO is still king
@@jasonehredt968Easton is the only arrow company making in the USA. Thank you for recognizing!
Love it! I’ll take a dozen to test…
Lets see a head to head comparison/ shootoff between HLR and 5.0
and the BE Rampage that has been out for years in these same specs
Josh, what's the difference between these and the axis 5mm???
MFJJ can you do a comparison video between the Easton 5.0 and Victory HLR. Or are they not comparable?
Wish they came out with this arrow last year. Been shooting an axis for almost 15 years but wanted a lighter 300 spine for the last few years and decided to go with victory rips from.what was available at the time. Wish i would have waited one more year. Really like easton arrows. Named my son Easton. Lol.
Thank you for the years of support Eric! We hope you check out the 5.0 on person and make them apart of your quiver 💪
Just ordered some from ya. Pumped
Easton is definitely the best. And the axis is the best of the best
The industry flagship for arrows 💪🇺🇸
Didn’t you tell us to try the HLR from Victory just over a month ago?
If i'm not mistaken, the three forty spine in the gold tip kinetic pierce is 8.3 g p.i and the black eagle, deep impact is like 7.6 g p.I for there Mico arrow i think
looks good, Ill buy some in nashville
Richard, thank you for supporting Easton 🇺🇸🤜🤛
Would this be a good arrow for my 1st elk hunt?
YES!! It will be my elk arrow.
@tysonyates3485 thank you
We have many of our engineers and internal members shooting elk with this arrow!
@EastonTechnicalProd thank you
When Victory dropped their HLR's, I thought I had made my decision on my next arrow build. Now, in steps Easton saying "Hold my Jocko". I might have to switch brands this year and try these Eastons.
Might as well support a company that makes their arrows in the US if you have the option. 👍
We would love the support! I think you'll love them!
@Mbtharp1 I'm doing just that. 👍🏼
Is that the Prime carbon bow sitting in the back that they’ve been waiting for ever to release?
Will they be available before 2025 Whitetail season for the hunters without a tv show or RUclips channel?
Thank you for the. Great info
So if im shooting an axis 5mm, weighing 486 grains with an FOC of 13.6%, how would I benefit going to the 5.0’s? Just lighter arrow and higher speeds with a greater FOC?
I like where you are at FOC-wise. Are you a longer-draw shooter?
@ 29.5” draw length, shooting 70(ish) pounds.
@@tysonyates3485 for some reason my last message didn’t at you. I shoot a 29.5” draw length.
@@brandonbeasley1825 I like your set up! Do you know the speed your shooting it? I’ll bet with your longer draw we are shooting about the same speed but you have more mass which is a win!
@ I haven’t chrono’d it yet but when I get the chance I will, intrigued to see how fast it’s shooting. What’s your favorite set up you have?
Good job
When will u put them on your website?
Bravo easton
🫡🫡🫡
414 about 135 grains light for me but guess I could try some more foc cause I like 550 grains out of my 80 pound Mathews at 29 inch draw seems to blow through whatever it hits with an iron will up front
So was he saying with the 50 grain insert and 100 grain tip?
What about the fmj max?
when do these come out?
I use the Easton Axis LRs, any reason to change to a 5mm?
I love the Axis 4mm LR. I would say if you want to run lighted nocks the 5.0 would give you better options.
@ I’ve never used lighted nocks I’ve thought about it though.
To each there own for this one. If you want a robust component system, our 5mm options have our HIT insert with a Match Grade collar included. This system has more structural integrity than any halfout.
@ thanks! I haven’t had any issue with the titanium halfouts!
@@fr8cture With a 4mm though, there's very, very little weight difference between lighted and regular nocks. In my bow, I have no difference in POI on any range between 20 and 70m. That's with Victory VAPs.
Do you think they'll eventually squeeze this into a 4mm form? Maybe even lighter..?
Hey man, check out the Axis 4MM Long Range. Let me know what you think of those weights! Its been a favorite of mine for years!
@tysonyates3485 Cheers Tyson, I'll have a look 👍
This is the same as a black label quantum, also the IP nocks gave me trouble. The accutough noocks tuned up better for me and I got better BH flight at distance
Spine test to check consistency on spine?
We are always down to test, we do audits on our products!
Altra arrows also do not have a spine. There 204 and 166 are still a bit heavy with GPI. This Easton is a sweet spot
Still want to see a Sirius Gemini review. Their 250 spine is 8.68 GPi.
10yrs behind the curve. But BRAVO Easton for making a killer shaft in the USA and not charging more for it ❤❤, killer price!!
Thank you @Poppasmurf15 . This arrow has been in the works for over a decade, we want to make sure we provide the best available product to our consumers with our proprietary process called AcuCarbon!
Sooo will you be shooting this or the sweet new victory HLR….i know easton is all made in US with over seas carbon and materials im sure. But i still much prefer Victory arrows..after starting with easton and their stuff then moving to Victory. Maybe this new 5.0 axis can change that for me
Actually one of our biggest supplier is down south 45 min from us (Salt Lake City) we source tons of carbon within the states!
@ even more awesome to hear! My sister is actually moving to salt lake next year so ill have to take a visit. Will you guys be offering anything similar to this shaft maybe touch kore grains per inch but in an all carbon 4mm shaft, with good durability. Im sure you cant say but id love to see that along next to this 5.0. I will probably pick up a pack of these and tinker with them for the spine consistency and the lighter gpi alone. Then run Josh’s titanium insert and collar!
link to that arrow spinner?
What spine is that arrow, Josh??
Cant find these on ur site?
Finally!!!!
Do you think these are better or worse than the Rip tko?
My opinion will for sure be biased toward Easton, but I would say Easton is USA made and our acu carbon seamless process is huge for consistency arrow to arrow and dozen to dozen! Best of luck in your decision for the 2025 season on arrow selection on whatever arrow you decide!
Bro teasing the Prime reveal!
Do you think they will make this as well in their 4mm?
They have in. It’s the Axis 4mm LR.
So it is a 5mm Sonic. I wish they would make a real light 6.5mm arrow again, like the Flatline. I am not a fan of anything under 6mm, and I am really not even a big fan of that either. I have tried them all, and I am personally sticking with 6.5mm arrows. That said, Easton is my only go-to for arrows. They are all I shoot, and will likely stay that way. I am a big fan of how they make these arrows. What's not to love about Easton?
Thanks for the support and product ideas!
Are these available right now and if so where?
Did you watch the video?
@ yes I did I posted that before he said it at the end
What’s in that Prime box?
These or Victory’s HLR?
What is the length out of the box?
The 200 spine is 33.5" out of the box.
That is a nice prime box behind you
MFJJ inserts work. Say no more!
So which is better the victory hlr or the Easton 5.0
Of course we are biased, but our process we feel is incredible. It’s seamless, meaning no stiff spot. No need to index your arrows. We control, spine around shaft and spine from arrow to arrow incredible well with our AcuCarbon process, plus we are able to do that right here in Salt Lake City, UT 🇺🇸
This seems like a solid option. I'm just trying to figure out why the 250 spine 5.0 arrow is over a half GPI heavier than the 250 spine RIP TKO. It is the same, or better, in every other spine.
Really disappointed in that. I shoot a 250 spine.
probably made better, the Rampage that I shoot in 400 are lighter than both of them
Why these arrows over the new victory HLR?
the HLR has the same specs as the BE Rampages that have been out for 8 years. Looks like they are playing catch up.
Made with the Acu Carbon process they will group tighter and not have variance from year to year and dozen to dozen!
Please tell me you’re gonna make components?
His Ti components will fit them!!
Awesomeness! I’ll take a dozen. Thanks MFJJ. I’m not buying from anyone else so stop telling me too lol, just kidding but I’m not buying from anyone else. 🙏🏽
What’s the price point
$220 for a dozen
@ not bad. Thanks
@@beammikethat’s the match grade. Standard grade is 169.99
100 bucks more then the BE Rampage with same specs
@ Easton is American made
really wish they would put the spine on the arrow. I know what they claim, but theres still a spine and its important to us tinkerers. Still not a weave? In theory the HLR should be a more durable shaft, no?
Hell yeah on the Alice shirt
Sold
Yes American made and Page Pearce switch to Easton this year!
Prefer Sirius arrows, but I appreciate the recommendation.
What's in the prime box lol
What’s in the box!?!!! 🤣
@@mattgipe84I came here to say exactly this 🤪
That's literally what I was thinking when I wrote that lol!!!
Came here to ask the same thing!
Zoomed in on it the whole video hoping the camera would accidentally focus on it. I shoot prime but the shops in my area don't carry them. The one that does aren't very customer oriented either
I see a prime box in the background
Try a scale that’s more accurate. I use a scale made for weighing gunpowder for reloading. The basic arrow scales are not very precise down to fractions of a grain.
Great, but a heavier arrow has a stiffer spine so you can just add even more tip weight. Fix foc and a heavy arrow addiction.
Sweet now go ahead and send me a few I’ll test them out for you in winter league with my Ethos and give you a report after season.
So i can run 200gr up front and stay close to 500grains? On a 250 spine
It would depend on your arrow length!
Can u make these up and ship.
Sirius Gemini 250 and 300 spine …….. great arrows and if you move to 250 spine you don’t lose the purpose of a lighter gpi arrow. 300-8.65; 250-8.68….. super durable…. Tune and group great.
Offer the 5.0 with AAE Airazr 26.
Jar of flies......nice
FIRENOCK!!!!!
This is almost the same arrow as the Goldtip AirStrike
found my new arrow
Heck ya! Thank you for supporting US Made Arrows!
Says a lot that they come in the same (type of) package as Skylon arrows.
Packaging is packaging. We updated our dozen shaft bags because a quality product deserves some good packaging 💪. This arrow is made here in the USA 🇺🇸🫡
Hey mfjj are you college football fan if so who's your team also what is your favorite hunt you've been on
YES! Finally a lighter gpi Axis!!!
Victory HLR or Easton 5.0 tough choice.
They will probably shoot awesome out of my Hoyt but can’t shoot it out of my mission crossbow and really want to be a Matthews guy
What is the weight of the 350 an 400 spine shafts?
340 is 7.5 gpi and 400 is 6.8 gpi
340 7.5
400 6.8
