The new Cricut Joy Xtra is great if you are short on space, as this machine is 12 inches wide and only weighs 6 pounds. In this video, let me share how to make waterproof stickers on your Cricut Joy Extra, and use printable vinyl. The New machine will be available in Ireland and the UK from September 7th.
I have the new Cricut Joy Starter Bundle, which comes with some bits to get yourself started. If you are getting a machine as a present for someone or yourself, I recommend getting a bundle if possible, so you have some bits inside to get started.
The new Cricut Joy Extra comes with a Print then Cut sensor, allowing makers to create full-color stickers.
What's the difference between the Joy and Joy Xtra? The Joy Extra has a larger cutting width and Print then Cut sensors that allow for full-color sticker making. It can make projects up to a4 in width and 4 ft in length. Both machines cut over 50 materials and can also draw, write and foil. You can use all your Joy markers on the new Joy Extra.
Inside the box, you get a printable waterproof sticker set, some printable Iron-On for light fabrics, and a light grip cutting mat. You also get some Smart Iron-On, Smart vinyl, and some transfer tape so that you can create straight away.

Hi Catherine ironically I’ve been doing projects with my circuit maker the last week 😃. I’ve been making a felt activity book and photo frames for first day at school and first day at play school for my 2 grandchildren. I had difficulty getting my piece of wood hot enough for it to stick properly. I ended up using stick on and varnishing it. I hope that you work it out and pass on a few tips. X
That is a great tip about heating the wood, because too hot and the wood might damage ❤️

Hi, you might want to use transfer paper to get your printed design from the bakking onto the bag for eg.
So for this material, it’s too fine for transfer tape. The tape would tear the design as it’s too strong, it’s not like the normal iron on vinyl ❤️ just and fyi in case you use it
I actually think you used the stickers on wood several years ago. I could be wrong but it had something to do with 🐝? You originally set it on the outdoor bar you made? Again, I could be mistaken. ❤❤

I have a question…does the garden set of stickers cost anything? It looks like the price has a grey line through it. Does that mean they are free or do you have a subscription? Yes they cost. I have a monthly design space membership, I think it’s €9.99 but you could see if there are SVG files elsewhere and upload them.

Yes I think it will, but when I did research most said ink jet. However a girl I follow that does Cricut crafts used a laser and worked out same x
