I have always been a very artsy person yet never thought of getting a Cricut till now. Went to Michael's today and found myself standing there completely clueless. I am a middle school nurse. I would like to make stickers for the many students that are struggling with their sense of well being with words of kindness and affirmations. Being a tween/teen is a big adjustment. I just want them to know that they are valued and heard.
I use my Cricut Joy Xtra to make computer programming challenge completion badge stickers for my students. You should totally do the kindness and affirmation stickers!
I’m so excited for this cricut joy xtra! Working in a day surgery unit, we have some pediatric patients but our giveaways are adult geared. I would use it to creat iron ons for our reusable belongings bags and stickers for the water cup to make our giveaways more kid-friendly!
Firstly, I'd like to say how much I love watching your tutorials and the enjoyment you get by sharing everything with us. Secondly, I received the cricut Joy, a couple of years ago, as a Christmas gift from my son. I have fallen in love with it. Then, just this past Christmas, I received the Mug Press as a gift from my mum. I've made gifts for friends, etc, and am still learning. I don't have much space at home, so I have a small designated spot for all my materials and machines. As I've been learning, I became disappointed that I couldn't print then cut or that it doesn't have multiple sized blades. As I am an Early Childcare Educator, I wanted so much to make my own original stickers that can be specific to what we are learning about. Even just to make special design prints for clothing for my family, etc. A friend asked me if I could make her 15 mugs, for this coming Christmas, as gifts for family, each one specific to that person and I loved the challenge. When she asked if I could use an image of her son's car on it. I was so disappointed to tell her I couldn't. Good luck to the lucky person who gets it. En-Joy making Xtra fun designs. I’ve hesitated on purchasing a joy even though I know it would help in my card making. Now I know why- I was waiting for this! The print and cut feature is something I think I’ll use often. I predict this will be a big seller this holiday season!
Hello Ms. Jennifer! I am your new fan since yesterday. Night before, I prayed to God to give me a sign which path he will take me, and then just saw your crafty and knowledgeable videos. So I decided to stay tune and do more research about what printer I need, materials and cutting machine to start up. I am from the Philippines by the way. I woke up early in the morning to watch videos about sublimation printing and cricut since I want to have a business about arts and crafts. I have a limited resources since I just resigned from my 3months contract job because my husband needs me at the hospital and also need to attend to my growing toddler. I think my last pay fits to buy only Cricut Joy and rethink of a materials for installment. But if I will be lucky to be chosen to have that Cricut Joy Xtra I am so blessed and then use my lastpay for other materials I need to start a business. My husband knows that I want to have a start up business like this but he can't help me since he needs to fill in a savings for emergency. I love to have time for God(Sunday), a family time and time for my business. God bless us all. ❤

I do love the look of the Joy Xtra, your video is so helpful and with all the new materials it makes it so much easier for a beginner crafter like myself to understand how to use them properly. I volunteer at a Special Needs school, with the Joy xtra being portable it will give me a chance to get students involved in crafting too. I would be using it for personalised stickers, making display boards in school and general paper crafting with the children, thank you.
I love the fact that it is standard paper size🎉 stickers and sublimation are my new obsession! Can’t wait to try it! I work as a vet tech and love making stickers to personalize and decorate all the doggies e-collars when they go home after surgery! This is perfect size to bring to work and not trim paper. I have my original joy there now!
I would take it on vacations and make our own personalized souveniers while we are there instead of trying to remember the moments afterwards and find the time when we get back and the moments have passed. It would be so much fun to make photo ski stickers after a day on the hill and and put them on your helment the next day on the slopes! The xtra is small enough to fit in the suitcase and can stay protected with the puffy ski wear.
The Cricut Joyxtra is a great step up. I would definitely use it to do crafts like arabesque ornaments for a craft fair that I participate in for the upcoming holiday season. Since I have limited space to crafts, it would totally be a game changer for me. Thanks for the video and all your true thoughts on it.

I currently have the Maker that does it all, so WHY would I need the Joy xxtra? RIGHT.... welll ....after watching you today I know why and I WANT AND NEED IT! I was never interested in the Cricut Joy because of it's limited cutting size and no print & cut feature. But, this is a game changer! I would love to take this with me on our trips and vacations so I could craft away. I love making all things, cards, flowers, pop-ups, print & cut stickers. I would definitely make stickers. I want to use this to make even more shirts for my Grandkids. I have time to craft on vacation and we take our 5th wheel camper - this would be great to take with me - love your videos and have your playbook and use it a lot.

Hello! I work at my local library and I help teach people how to use the Cricut. We actually have Cricut machines that circulate like books from the library and having the Cricut Joy Xtra would help me answer more questions from the library customers and help me be more informed. Myself and another staff member offer free classes once a month to show how to do a certain craft. For example, we are making cards for September. I would love to use the Xtra for stickers, decals, and cards. It would also be fun to try to customize cups.
This new machine looks amazing! I got married in January of this year and I purchased a Cricut Joy for a lot of DIY decor. I have 2 grandsons & plenty of nieces & nephews. I love doing little extra things for all of the throughout the year & especially on special occasions. Oh Jennifer….I’m SO EXCITED!! I very recently began using my Cricut Joy….I also have a Silhouette Cameo 2, but was a bit intimidated by it. I purchased the Joy on a super sale at Michael’s, and LOVE IT! It would be awesome to get the Joy Xtra now, so that when crafting with my Grandchildren - I can teach them to use and practice on my original Joy, while I create special sticker sets for their collections!! Everyone loves stickers!! When i was younger i loved crafting and had a childrens toys that cranked out stickers from my own drawings or anything you cut out from newspapers or magazines. That toy sparked my love of making my own stickers. The fact that i can make any sticker my son wants and of things he is currently interested in is the best! I would use it also to print and cut out activities for learning for him. I do have a small space and my cricut air2 gets stored away when not in use and hard to bring in and out and set it up anywhere. I usually set it on the ground. My son could even help me use the xtra and maybe it will spark an interest of crafting for him too.😊
I have watched your video 3 or 4 times already..since I rent a room don't have much room with my wheelchair and furniture...I love the thought of Bing able to make all the items this machine does....I am a creative person and have tons of ideas in my head...I get all excited when you say all that machine can do...thanks for making me smile and get excited about what day making more and more projects..God bless you!!
As a special education teacher, I would use the Cricut Xtra to create much needed activities for my students. These would include matching activities, reward stickers & small signs for my classroom. And so much more!
Thanks Jennifer, you always give the xtra details we need. I would use this Cricut Joy Xtra to take with me when I visit friends and family who might be sick or shut in due to health, age or other problems. I think with the diversity of this new machine I could add a little Xtra joy, laughter, fun and the feeling of accomplishment to them. Wow I think the possibilities could be amazing! Imagine encouraging someone by helping them to create their own little craft and watching their eyes glow with excitement and satisfaction. It would be nice to see Senior Centers, Shelters or even Nursing homes add these to their public spaces. They say that laughter is the Best Medicine just imagine what a little Xtra Joy can do for the Soul. So I would make anything I could that brings a smile.

I was going to.purchase the Joy next month but saw the newest Joy and got so excited!! I would share it with my fellow scrapbook girls "sisters" when we get together several times a year! The Cricut Joy Xtra would be a perfect addition to my crafting arsenal. The size would make it perfect for my desk at the office where I could work on craft projects during my breaks!! Making stickers/labels for office files would be amazing! Vinyl labels for our filing cabinets would also be appreciated by my coworkers. Maybe even attractive signage for office doors and cubicles?! We also have so many keys at work that need more pleasing keychains to replace the tired old paper tags. And that's just off the top of my head. So much creativity to unlock!!!

I absolutely have been eye balling the cricut joy because sometimes I just don’t want to pull out my whole maker 3 for a t shirt for my 3t/4t wearing toddler. The extra would make that so much easier especially since his twin wears a 4t/5t and I could make both! They also both love when I personalize their things so this would be perfect for those smaller everyday projects. What a nifty new design and revamp on a compact cricut cutting machine. This is an absolutely perfect size machine and price point! I have been watching your videos and website projects for awhile. I haven't purchased a Cricut, yet. I make small/mid size custom projects on paper/cardstock. I print symbols off the internet, stickers, I alter from the store that I customize myself, pulling from many different sheets that the colors don't match, to make daily living schedules for home and school. This unit will give me the ability to create the schedules needed with a more polished look that we hand carry for independence, and will look a whole lot better than my DIY! lol.
Hi Jennifer, Watching this tutorial was just as refreshing as watching the others. There is always something new that I will learn. Awesome. I am in love with the Joy Xtra because I'm a Special Education teacher and ABA Specialist in Queens, New York. That means that I work with children with learning disabilities and children who are Autistic. They are the cutest kids to serve. My students depend on Visual Support on a daily basis and I find that they are super motivated with the use of colors. I print, cut and color everyday and this new machine will be a great resource not only to me but to the students. I see myself doing much more with regards to their visual directions, schedules, rewards, stickers, activities and the list goes on. My students will be so excited with this addition to the classroom. I will continue to do my best for my students whether I'm lucky to get this machine or not through this great chance. Please, please continue to do your great work since I do depend on your tutorials regularly.
My 2 youngest just started pre-k and kindergarten. So labeling everything they own(more less😂) this would really be a big HELP!! I don’t own any of the Cricuts. Now that I have no kids at home I’ve been looking into buying one(although being on a fixed income and single parent it’s hard to have/save xtra money) to start crafting to keep me busy. This is great and exciting news! I was able to retire last year so I’ve stepped up my paper crafting as small side hustle to help ends meet. My son in law found a Joy at a yard sale and gave it to me as a gift. I like it, but it’s always been too small and was disappointed when it would not cut and scan. I've been eyeballing a Joy for quite awhile now. I'm so glad I waited, to say the least! I love that the Xtra is bluetooth and still very portable. To start, I would learn card-making and print & cut for stickers on this little baby. And I love, love that there is prismatic glitter iron-on, as I do love the bling! I have a Cricut Joy, but I would definitely use a Joy Xtra more. Stickers would certainly be at the top of my list! But I love that I would also be able to make decals for T-shirts. It's also pretty great that I would be able to use all the vinyl and HTV that I've bought for my Joy. I'm so excited!!I am brand new to Cricut world. Been watching all of your videos to try to get an idea of what kind of machine will be a good fit for me. Starting a solo business to get my art into the world and am convinced, with your help, that the Cricut is the way to go. I want to print and cut stickers and vinyl lettering as well as be able to print things out for sublimation cups and shirts. The more I see this machine the more I need It. I do much print and cut for children's ministries that this would make it so much easier. I could take it to church and print and cut right there and not have to haul my larger machine. My grand children would love it too. I could even take to their house.

I would love one of these to use for making some of my smaller projects such as stickers for my bathroom wall and decals. Sometimes hooking up the maker 3 just for one small decal and such can be a pain. I really would get alot of use out of this machine

I’m a card maker. The Joy will make cards but not 5x7. I also love the print and cut feature. Again, the ability to print then cut images for ephemera is a game changer!

I like this xtra because you can use materials by putting them on the mat. I make craft kits for children’s hospital cancer floor and would love to make stickers to include in their crafty kits. I do not have a larger cricut any more, only the original create. Looks like a great new project

I am a middle school nurse. I would like to make stickers for the many students that are struggling with their sense of well being with words of kindness and affirmations. Being a tween/teen is a big adjustment. I just want them to know that they are valued and heard.
I use my Cricut Joy Xtra to make computer programming challenge completion badge stickers for my students. You should totally do the kindness and affirmation stickers!
I’m so excited for this cricut joy xtra! Working in a day surgery unit, we have some pediatric patients but our giveaways are adult geared. I would use it to creat iron ons for our reusable belongings bags and stickers for the water cup to make our giveaways more kid-friendly!
Firstly, I'd like to say how much I love watching your tutorials and the enjoyment you get by sharing everything with us.
Secondly, I received the cricut Joy, a couple of years ago, as a Christmas gift from my son. I have fallen in love with it. Then, just this past Christmas, I received the Mug Press as a gift from my mum. I've made gifts for friends, etc, and am still learning.
I don't have much space at home, so I have a small designated spot for all my materials and machines. As I've been learning, I became disappointed that I couldn't print then cut or that it doesn't have multiple sized blades. As I am an Early Childcare Educator, I wanted so much to make my own original stickers that can be specific to what we are learning about. Even just to make special design prints for clothing for my family, etc. A friend asked me if I could make her 15 mugs, for this coming Christmas, as gifts for family, each one specific to that person and I loved the challenge. When she asked if I could use an image of her son's car on it. I was so disappointed to tell her I couldn't.

Hello Ms. Jennifer! I am your new fan since yesterday. Night before, I prayed to God to give me a sign which path he will take me, and then just saw your crafty and knowledgeable videos. So I decided to stay tune and do more research about what printer I need, materials and cutting machine to start up. I am from the Philippines by the way. I woke up early in the morning to watch videos about sublimation printing and cricut since I want to have a business about arts and crafts. I have a limited resources since I just resigned from my 3months contract job because my husband needs me at the hospital and also need to attend to my growing toddler. I think my last pay fits to buy only Cricut Joy and rethink of a materials for installment. But if I will be lucky to be chosen to have that Cricut Joy Xtra I am so blessed and then use my lastpay for other materials I need to start a business. My husband knows that I want to have a start up business like this but he can't help me since he needs to fill in a savings for emergency. I love to have time for God(Sunday), a family time and time for my business. God bless us all. ❤

I do love the look of the Joy Xtra, your video is so helpful and with all the new materials it makes it so much easier for a beginner crafter like myself to understand how to use them properly. I volunteer at a Special Needs school, with the Joy xtra being portable it will give me a chance to get students involved in crafting too. I love the fact that it is standard paper size🎉 stickers and sublimation are my new obsession! Can’t wait to try it! I work as a vet tech and love making stickers to personalize and decorate all the doggies e-collars when they go home after surgery! This is perfect size to bring to work and not trim paper. I have my original joy there now!

I would take it on vacations and make our own personalized souveniers while we are there instead of trying to remember the moments afterwards and find the time when we get back and the moments have passed. It would be so much fun to make photo ski stickers after a day on the hill and and put them on your helment the next day on the slopes! The xtra is small enough to fit in the suitcase and can stay protected with the puffy ski wear.

I was never interested in the Cricut Joy because of it's limited cutting size and no print & cut feature. But, this is a game changer! I would love to take this with me on our trips and vacations so I could craft away. I love making all things, cards, flowers, pop-ups, print & cut stickers. I would definitely make stickers. I put a sticker somewhere on everything I make that says, "handcrafted with love by Nadine Wiley".

Hello! I work at my local library and I help teach people how to use the Cricut. We actually have Cricut machines that circulate like books from the library and having the Cricut Joy Xtra would help me answer more questions from the library customers and help me be more informed. Myself and another staff member offer free classes once a month to show how to do a certain craft. For example, we are making cards for September. I would love to use the Xtra for stickers, decals, and cards. It would also be fun to try to customize cups.

Oh Jennifer….I’m SO EXCITED!! I very recently began using my Cricut Joy….I also have a Silhouette Cameo 2, but was a bit intimidated by it. I purchased the Joy on a super sale at Michael’s, and LOVE IT! It would be awesome to get the Joy Xtra now, so that when crafting with my Grandchildren - I can teach them to use and practice on my original Joy, while I create special sticker sets for their collections!! Everyone loves stickers!! When i was younger i loved crafting and had a childrens toys that cranked out stickers from my own drawings or anything you cut out from newspapers or magazines. That toy sparked my love of making my own stickers. The fact that i can make any sticker my son wants and of things he is currently interested in is the best! I would use it also to print and cut out activities for learning for him. I do have a small space and my cricut air2 gets stored away when not in use and hard to bring in and out and set it up anywhere. I usually set it on the ground. My son could even help me use the xtra and maybe it will spark an interest of crafting for him too.😊

As a special education teacher, I would use the Cricut Xtra to create much needed activities for my students. These would include matching activities, reward stickers & small signs for my classroom. And so much more!
Thanks Jennifer, you always give the xtra details we need. I would use this Cricut Joy Xtra to take with me when I visit friends and family who might be sick or shut in due to health, age or other problems. I think with the diversity of this new machine I could add a little Xtra joy, laughter, fun and the feeling of accomplishment to them. Wow I think the possibilities could be amazing! Imagine encouraging someone by helping them to create their own little craft and watching their eyes glow with excitement and satisfaction. It would be nice to see Senior Centers, Shelters or even Nursing homes add these to their public spaces. They say that laughter is the Best Medicine just imagine what a little Xtra Joy can do for the Soul. So I would make anything I could that brings a smile.

The Cricut Joy Xtra would be a perfect addition to my crafting arsenal. The size would make it perfect for my desk at the office where I could work on craft projects during my breaks!! Making stickers/labels for office files would be amazing! Vinyl labels for our filing cabinets would also be appreciated by my coworkers. Maybe even attractive signage for office doors and cubicles?! We also have so many keys at work that need more pleasing keychains to replace the tired old paper tags. And that's just off the top of my head. So much creativity to unlock!!!

I absolutely have been eye balling the cricut joy because sometimes I just don’t want to pull out my whole maker 3 for a t shirt for my 3t/4t wearing toddler. The extra would make that so much easier especially since his twin wears a 4t/5t and I could make both! They also both love when I personalize their things so this would be perfect for those smaller everyday projects. What a nifty new design and revamp on a compact cricut cutting machine. This is an absolutely perfect size machine and price point! I have been watching your videos and website projects for awhile. I haven't purchased a Cricut, yet. I make small/mid size custom projects on paper/cardstock. I print symbols off the internet, stickers, I alter from the store that I customize myself, pulling from many different sheets that the colors don't match, to make daily living schedules for home and school. This unit will give me the ability to create the schedules needed with a more polished look that we hand carry for independence, and will look a whole lot better than my DIY! lol.

Watching this tutorial was just as refreshing as watching the others. There is always something new that I will learn. Awesome. I am in love with the Joy Xtra because I'm a Special Education teacher and ABA Specialist in Queens, New York. That means that I work with children with learning disabilities and children who are Autistic. They are the cutest kids to serve. My students depend on Visual Support on a daily basis and I find that they are super motivated with the use of colors. I print, cut and color everyday and this new machine will be a great resource not only to me but to the students. I see myself doing much more with regards to their visual directions, schedules, rewards, stickers, activities and the list goes on. My students will be so excited with this addition to the classroom. I will continue to do my best for my students whether I'm lucky to get this machine or not through this great chance. Please, please continue to do your great work since I do depend on your tutorials regularly.
My 2 youngest just started pre-k and kindergarten. So labeling everything they own(more less😂) this would really be a big HELP!! I don’t own any of the Cricuts. Now that I have no kids at home I’ve been looking into buying one(although being on a fixed income and single parent it’s hard to have/save xtra money) to start crafting to keep me busy. My son in law found a Joy at a yard sale and gave it to me as a gift. I like it, but it’s always been too small and was disappointed when it would not cut and scan. I'm so excited!!I am brand new to Cricut world. Been watching all of your videos to try to get an idea of what kind of machine will be a good fit for me. Starting a solo business to get my art into the world and am convinced, with your help, that the Cricut is the way to go. I want to print and cut stickers and vinyl lettering as well as be able to print things out for sublimation cups and shirts. This would be such an amazing machine for me to start with and I'd be so grateful if you picked me:) Also thank you for being honest with the products that you try out. That's the most important thing for me right now in trying to get a machines to get started with. I am very Interest in the Joy Xtra for my granddaughters, it is the perfect gift for beginners. They are learning and loving using the cricuit. They are 11 and 7, I enjoyed teaching them with my Explorer 2.

The more I see this machine the more I need It. I do much print and cut for children's ministries that this would make it so much easier. I could take it to church and print and cut right there and not have to haul my larger machine. My grand children would love it too. I could even take to their house.

I would love one of these to use for making some of my smaller projects such as stickers for my bathroom wall and decals. Sometimes hooking up the maker 3 just for one small decal and such can be a pain. I really would get alot of use out of this machine

I been watching your videos for a while and I would love to give this to my daughter so she can make money with it as she’s having a hard time finding an extra job to pay her rent and this is a game changer I can help her out by helping her make things to sell and this would be great for her to make shirts and stickers and so much other stuff for her to sell and this is the beginning for her ❤❤❤love how Cricut came out with this to make it easier to travel for business

I’m a card maker. The Joy will make cards but not 5x7. I also love the print and cut feature. Again, the ability to print then cut images for ephemera is a game changer!

Thank you very much for this honest review. I've been looking at the Cricut Joy for a while as I've got a small room for crafting. I was very interested by the Print then Cut option to make stickers for my grandsons and the Joy couldn't do it. The Cricut Joy Xtra would be a very good alternative. I like this xtra because you can use materials by putting them on the mat. I make craft kits for children’s hospital cancer floor and would love to make stickers to include in their crafty kits. I do not have a larger cricut any more, only the original create. Looks like a great new project
