Hi Grant, nice tutorial, looks cozy and cute so I guess you’ve just half-finished my part in this Christmas/New Year preparations, just to add PF text and finito.
I wanna ask you a question if I can - have you considered recording some intermediate or advanced course with complex high or mid poly model and maybe with some tricky shapes to show us topology workflow? And you’d be my personal Hero if you even unhide some of your secrets on how to deal with objects where multiple (or too many) meshes are just not the option? For animation for example.
I really like your teaching style you are by far my most favourite lecturer and your calm and positive attitude is one of the very few things that are able to decrease my stress level which is constantly shouting at me that I am too slow and need to push more, force my lazy bottom to work harder, better and faster. You should be Blender Guru, literally, something like “Meditating magic relax skills of spiritual teacher Grant and chacra… unbuttoning…s meet Blender” courses .
So I like your style and persona but I am tired of doing beginner’s stuff all over again so I usually use your techniques I see for something mine I need for another project. But it always ends up with something big, with dozens of hours involved so I got tired overwhelmed with two or thee big multiple apps projects and it takes me very long time to finish any of your courseS. Especially as I am not sure half of the time I am doing it right and effective.
I feel like I am stagnating for a very long time, too long in fact. And time is the most valuable commodity as nobody have enough of it. Well I am sure there are more of me-like people who need to find the right path to move to another level and feel they have some kind of Blender (is life) crisis. I dare to say there will be enough people on gamedev.net and udemy looking for something similar. Or still looking for teacher that suits them. Ok, I see I’ve written another novel, sorry, guess I am this boomer. Anyway, whether you’ll decide to prepare something or not, I wanna thank you for your good work.👍

@@grabbitt heh, I was sure I answered. I finished half of it but then went away. Thanks for reminding it to me, I surely can finish it to find myself some direction. Especially hard surface parts are worth to (re)check. Still, if you weren't sure what the topic of course to choose someday, I and surely more of your students would enjoy some intermediate/advanced stuff. 😉
