    @7:30 if some elements don't apply the Bevel, it's because of the bad mesh. To fix it, for each element that don't apply the Bevel, go in Edit mode, select all (A), then click Mesh (top left) -> Clean Up -> Merge By Distance. This fixed the problem for me

      Thanks, unfortunately it still didn't work for me, even though it removed 4 verts. Not sure what to do now... Edit: I fixed it, expand comment for explanation.
      It was because my house walls had a bunch of extra geometry. I did things a little differently from the video and ended up with some faces that had additional edges and verts. This is different from the "verts on top of each other" problem. For example, I had extra verts around where the door was, because instead of duplicating the face like in the video, I did insert on it, and then extruded it before separating the door object. So the front wall had the 'outline' of the door left in it.
      To fix it, I had to get rid of that extra stuff. I shift+selected one of the wall's corner verts with one of the extraneous doorframe verts, and did "merge at first" (or do "merge at last" depending on which of the verts you select first). Do that for all the extra verts until the wall is a single face, and that should finally make bevel work. Also make sure there's no holes--you can do "fill holes" from the same menu as the "merge by distance" option.

    14:40 - By disabling the bevel before applying the snow, you're essentially making the bevel a useless step, since it gets deleted this way (at least it does for me, it doesn't appear to for you in the video). Instead, if you 'Apply' the bevel in Object mode using the dropdown button next to the modifier name, you can keep the bevel on those objects AND add snow to them, and the bevel doesn't get deleted this way.

    • @Acridz
      @Acridz 2 года назад

      This. For some reason when disabling the bevel and then adding snow, it still didn't work. I simply deleted the bevel first, added snow, and then readded my bevel and it worked now.

    najlepsze jest to jak uczysz korzystania ze skrótów klawiszowych. szybka przyjemna i prosta lekcja tworzenia w blenderze. na pewno zostanę tu dłużej :) przepraszam że po Polsku ale nie chciało mi się pisać po Angielsku :)

    did the isometric room one, i just started with blender but with your video i was able to build it and then rebuild it a few times on my own!!!! the style you build in is fantastic, reminds me of Claymation.
