It was NEVER Piz or Deacon, (well maybe before Veronica&Logan's first kiss) but after that it was without a doubt Logan, despite the complicated shit they went through, and the not always best relationship it's Logan. As much as I love Veronica, I feel like Piz does deserve better, it's not fair to have someone who only loves with half their heart, Veronica loves Logan with all of her heart (thought I was pissed when she never once said "i love you" to anyone but her father) we all know she loves Logan. I am totally Team Logan.

I just finished rewatching all seasons and a movie, and it never dawned on me that in the amidst of all romantic scenes between her and Logan, there isn't a single one where she declares her love for him. I guess that's something to look forward to in season 4! Man, Veronica is a really complex character... I guess the absence of her mother really did a number on her. logan had the wrong place wrong time situation kind of thing the whole thing with that bikers death was all weevils fault they instigated it and then beat him up and someone took the opportunity till kill the biker while he was knocked out also the whole bonnie/ carrie thing was just him dating the girl who already had extreme baggage and a dark secret and the whole lilly thing lets get real the boyfriend is always the first suspect when the gf gets murdered their was no way he was getting out of that one

How was Piz supportive of Veronica? He pretty much ignores that she's in a committed relationship and the fact that she shows no interest in him, after she tells him that she doesn't really see him in a romantic light he kisses her, he makes it known that he's not happy that she got into the FBI program because he feels that it's too long to not see her, he isn't happy of her spending a few weeks helping someone she has a long history with beat a false murder charge, and he acknowledges that she's reluctant to meet his parents but continues to push the issue.
I know this'll fall on deaf ears, but I'd like to see Veronica and Weevil happen, albeit they won't beat LoVe. Their friendship in my eyes was special and I prefer them to her and Wallace, and he is protective of her so yea, I wish that would have happened, otherwise Leo getting more screentime too, I loved him. Team Logan no questions. Like Piz is 100% the better guy, but Logan is the better guy for Veronica. And really why is Piz included in the ship war more than Duncan? I know Duncan is forgettable and boring, but Veronica and Duncan's relationship was so much more than what she had with Piz... I don't really think thats fair. Logan isnt even a bad guy deep down. I think he just ended up in different situations than Piz because of how he grew up compared to Piz. He was actually a pretty good guy when it came down to it.
I think that most people recognize that Logan is indeed a very kind person, but when they say that he's not as good as Piz, they refer to Logan's violent outbursts and spontaneous actions that unwillingly hurt Veronica. Don’t guilt women into choosing men who are « so goooood » everyone has good and bad sides. Veronica was involved in her fair share of mayhem. I don’t know, the way i see it, her personality and logan’s just fit so well? But apparently the cast likes to see it as the big bad wolf vs prince charming?! Like many people pointed out in the comment section under this video, there could have been a love triangle with logan/veronica and duncan (quickly forgotten), or with leo (i never saw it, but even in the book veronica seems to be a bit into him) and even then it does not really compare. He's the guy you dream about marrying and raising kids with in the two story with the two car garage and the PTA... But that is never going to be Veronica... Truly you have more competition with the cop. That being said Piz is a great character and you want him to find someone great.

If the series follows the ending of the movie, Logan and Veronica will spend a lot of months separately due to his off-shore duties, and I guess it will again raise the question: Who is Veronica? What does she need in this stage of her life? Would she like to settle down with someone? If I had to bet, I'd say that Veronica will deal with the question of having children and starting a family. Is that something she needs in her life? Also, like you said, Piz is in general a great character, a great role model for someone who has a pacifist nature, and I really wish he could guest star in the revival NOT as a romantic interest for V.
