This is honestly the most romantic scene from anything ever.
The actor is so talented. I’ve noticed all throughout the series (I’m watching it for the first time right now) how much his physical acting plays a role in their love story. Moments when he hangs onto something she’s trying to take out of his hands for just a split second longer than he should. The way he keeps moving closer to her throughout the scene. The extremely gentle way he turns her face back when she tries to escape the moment because it’s too vulnerable for her. It’s the same intensity that makes them fight like motherfuckers but I just noticed that his acting is really incredible because he’s the source of a lot of the chemistry in their scenes. It’s the tiny overtures he always puts into his performance that in one way or another, in every conversation with Veronica you get the feeling he’s reaching out for her. Physically. With his eyes. Sometimes with his anger. Even if he’s hating himself for it Because he hates vulnerability, he can’t help it with her .Not that Kristen isn’t amazing! I love her. I just think Veronica characterization is to be more oblivious and closed off about how deep his feelings for her (and hers for him) really go, especially because when he doesn’t get to be with her he gets nastier and nastier. In real life he’d be a super toxic person but even though you know that he’s toxic, the performance is so good and touching that you feel so compelled, you can’t resist. And deep down neither can she.
0.47 you can see that he realizes that she's never considered how he feels about her at all. It's like it finally dawns on him that her sleuthing won't figure him out.. that he had in fact asked her to Prom but she hadn't noticed and that his only way to make her understand was to get drunk enough to get up the courage to make up this speech and confess.
S4 doesn’t exist for me. These two are together and living their happily ever after😭❤️

Watching this made me realize I should be just be grateful that we got a movie and a season 4 (even if it was a decade later) but it’s not enough. I need a season 5 where we find out Logan was kidnapped or had to fake his death. And preferably an entire 6th season of them just being happy together for once

Everything about this scene is JUST perfect: the angst, the music, the dialogue, the camera angles, the tension, the longing, the kiss that should've happened but didn't…. Everything about IT is just PERFECT *chef kiss*
For being pretty drunk enough to have the courage to tell her the truth about his feelings. Logan is pretty well spoken. I guess after years of drinking, the boy knows how to handle his liquor.
Not to mention, he's the kind of person that would've memorized what he would say weeks in advance, it wasn't a spare of the moment idea.
Moviechick3994 I read a fan fiction once that had them talking about his epic speech. And he actually says, that he thought up that speech weeks before he said it and planned it all out. That he was only able to get it out because he got wasted at the party.

Our story is epic
Veronica Mars die after Season 2, Season 3 was sub par at best, the movie was lackluster and Season 4 was average until the very end, then it became just bad. The first 2 seasons were ahead of its time, the acting, writing, it was just amazing.

The first two seasons were definitely a master piece, they function as one continuous self contained story. The college stories are a great continuation, but aren’t as connected as the first two seasons. Worst part about season 3 is the ending because it had to end abruptly.
