Good lord I love their banter so much. And Logan is so smiley it's adorable. It's a very, very quick moment, but it's one of my favorite things about this scene: when he shows her the invitation and she yanks away the card, he hangs onto it for like a tiny second.
I love this scene..I know the dance in 2x17 and what he says to her later in this episode are romantic..but to me, it is how he looks at her in this scene that shows how much he is still really in love with her.
This is absolutrly my LoVe favourite scene... I mean all scenes are amazing but this one... their lookings, thei faces, thr expressions they have... I mean they are clearly in love... I can see it, you can see it, even Logan and Veronica can see it they just don't admit, V in particular... can't wait for the movie and sorry for bad english
you see this? this is high school. we're here for four years and then we move on...and all these people you see everyday vanish from your life and you never have to think about them again. =)
At 1:51 it's really obvious that Logan likes Veronica as more than just a friend. He's trying to hide how much he cares whether she accepts the invitation or not, and Veronica is oblivious to this, but to everyone else it will always be obvious that they love each other.
the great thing about this scene - other than the FANTASTIC dialogue - is the hidden tension. it's palpable. (also, i love the little moment when logan won't give her the invitation. so cute.)
Ha. U wrote this 11 years ago and I’m watching for the first time right now. The actor who plays Logan is crazy good because he has to be straight up monstrous sometimes, but I was thinking how his physicality is what sells the performance between them over and over and over. Frequently he touches her for just a second longer than he’d need to, etc etc. despite the fact that he’s a huge ass when he doesn’t get his way, the tension is always so intense, in part because his body gives him away (“Logan” I mean, the actor clearly does this on purpose, and it’s great). During the first season I was kind of annoyed by them predictably getting together because yes the tension was there but he did so much horrific stuff. But I realize why they had to cast this guy because he does that tension so well you feel like Veronica - I have a hard time not wanting it even though you know it’s a terrible idea
Duncan could never keep up with the witty banter like Logan!

This scene was better than the whole third season...
