I fricking love the look on Logan's face while he watches Veronica and her dad go back and forth. So fond.
I love how Logan's eyes shift from Veronica to Keith while they are bantering (or whatever it's called).
"What exactly am I allowed to ask Logan about?" - Keith
"Hobbies?" - Veronica
*They look at Logan*
"Surfing." - Logan
"What's the attraction?" - Keith
"DON'T answer that." - Veronica
Now I know what was missing from the movie. The banter. There was a few joke like comments but not between Veronica and Logan,
Dick wasn't as funny as use to be...
Jade Smith To be fair, the characters are 10 years older in the movie so the dynamics will have changed. Also, the plot of the movie had a serious tone - compared to this scene, which has the protagonist's boyfriend invited over for dinner. The movie included humor where appropriate, but you can't expect a lot of banter, when you consider that Veronica spent a lot of time trying to prove that Logan was innocent of the murder charge against him. At least they were on point with bringing back the intense romance between the two characters that had believably evolved over time. You can't really fault Rob Thomas for writing Logan as a more serious character, given that his character is serving time in the Navy and dealing with a wrongful murder accusation against him.
For those who like to read the books, there's a lot of banter between Logan and Veronica, especially in the second book.
I love how Logan can't help but laugh about the conversation between Veronica and Keith :D
My three favorite characters and my two favorite relationships on the show are all present in this scene.
"What classes are you taking?"
"Where are you going with this?"
"My endgame is to find out what classes Logan's taking."
Ha ha, I love them together, so excited for the film.

Good scene between Veronica Keith and Logan
I dont think veronica was this nervous when he brought Piz home. Yes it might be due to logan 's reputation all these years are no secret in neptune. but i think veronica really wanted keith to like logan.
Too bad there wasn't more scenes like this..

Wish Logan didn't die in season 4 and that they should have had babies together. Also that she didn't end up with Piz at the end of season 3. I always thought that breaking up with Logan for sleeping with Veronicas arch enemy is a little to unreasonable. It's not like Logan ever cheated on Veronica they were broken up at the time. Logan and Veronica hated each other after Lilly died because Logan selfishly blamed Veronica for Lilly's death. By saying that if Veronica never told Lilly that he kissed another girl that Lilly would be alone that night and would be alive. But really it was Lilly who was the unfaithful one and had a affair with her boyfriends father. Yuck by the way. Its sad that she died but I guess you could call it karma. Plus would Logan pursue Veronica if Lilly was alive. After all Logan did say to veronica after they broke up that he knew that Lilly and him were done with dating each other. That he kind of started to think before Lilly died that she was unfaithful. And yes Logan went to far by beating up Piz. But call me crazy but I would have been mad my self if I was with someone who did that. But I would have had a extreme talk with the boyfriend. And wouldn't of broken up or kick him out of my life. Veronica already knew who Logan was. So too act surprised that he went too far to protect Veronica by beating up the wrong guy should be a shock. But I'm still a Veronica and Logan fan There love for one another has always been strong a epic. Never a Piz and Veronica fan. They didn't have that connection that know matter what happened between Logan and Veronica. the love between them was stronger then Veronica and Piz. Also we never saw how Dick handled Logan's death. I'm sure horribly since they were bestfriends and unlike Cassidy and his father He was sane and not a murderer. Extreme but not a killer.
