I’m on my 3rd rebind attempt. I didn’t even try to skive the first 2, but then regretted it after they just don’t look that great.
On this one I tried to skive it, and idk if it doing it wrong, if it’s bc I have cheap stretchy leather, or if my tool isn’t cheap enough… but it seems to pull more than slice.
I tore a few pinhole size holes in it when skiving, which was very disappointing. I told my wife “a guy I watch on YT skives with an angle grinder!”
After my attempt at skiving with a knife, I think I’m gonna give them angle grinder (or maybe a dremel?) for my next one lol
