This was a really well done movie. And this young actress just nailed the part. I believe it came out right around 10 things I hate about you (if that was the title). Add on the girl next door and you have a good 3 show weekend set up.
"Where are you from originally?" Dad uses humor to ensure that his son's being adopted will never be a source of shame or embarrassment among his peers by making sure he'll never feel self-conscious about it. Great parenting!
Stanley Tucci saying "No judgement. All God's children. It's fine. I was gay once. No big deal. We all do it. It's ok" has to be immortalised alongside Tom Hardy's " I'm an actor, of course I've had gay sex" even though Stanley said it in a movie.
When I saw it for the first time I either wished my parents had been like these ones or I wished I could be in a relationship with someone as wonderful as Stanley Tucci's character
I also love when the mom says Olive has a present from a boy and Olive says, “well put it down next to my other presents!” And the mom slowly places it down 😂
I have a theory re Easy A that because the entire story is told from Olive's perspective, the characters are presenting themselves as SHE sees them, thus accounting for all the over-the-top characters and behaviors. The principal is this overblown jerk, the Christian group overly judgmental stereotypes, and (if this theory is correct) Olive's parents are super chill, kinda embarrassing, but overall incredibly supportive "our daughter can do no wrong" loving dorks.
"Clever word play, you must be related to me~" "Only by marriage!" Ok so I take it that he is Olive's step Dad? And when he married Olive's Mom, they can't concieve a child, so thats why they adopt the lil brother? This family is so interesting 😆
I have this strange attraction to Stanley Tucci, I just find him sooo incredible hot even when he's being full sass... nice to see that I'm not alone...
This movie’s really funny but the funniest is when the gorgeous Emma stone said she had a “complete lack of allure” 😂 I love it when movies try to convince us that hot people aren’t hot
In a way, the movie is self aware in that sense because when Olive starts to get more darind (even just as an act) people start to come out and act more attracted to her. Olive just thinks she lacks allure, you'd be surprised how many people who look good don't realize it.
Actually in this movie it is pretty okay. It is the movie's very topic how much your self-esteem and social status relates to other people's opinion, how it can change in a very intensive way. Emma Stone totally works as an average teen girl. I have to make the point that this may be the only movie when this topic is discussed BUT they did not put glasses and curly hair on the main character. For some reason movies tend to believe that beauty is straight, blond hair, makeup and no glasses.
I get you and i felt i was a bit harsh with him but just because he was giving TOO much dad like too much like my dad so he isn't a dilf for me just a dad 😂
There isn't a role Stanley Tucci can't play. From the greasiest scumbag weasel you hate to this the world's coolest dad. He don't get enough appreciation.
And they had the audacity to name prince William the sexiest bald man alive over Stanley tucci
I was JUST reading about that
Prince William wouldn't be sexy with a full head of hair.
What, whom?! Seriously?! In what universe is that guy sexy?..
@@Lobstereasy we’re living in an alternate timeline 😭there’s no way people suddenly saw that man as attractive fr
@@sugarplum5240I think ppl are overcorrecting bc Harry(the hot one) is kinda of a lil shit 😅
Hands down my favorite movie family in any film. In most teen comedies the parents are aloof or uncaring.
same, theyre so epic

I still love Juno’s dad
And parents from call me by your name
Or overly saccharin
"Where are you from originally?" Dad uses humor to ensure that his son's being adopted will never be a source of shame or embarrassment among his peers by making sure he'll never feel self-conscious about it. Great parenting!
Yeah it is great😊
0:38 That whole bit was so funny and very sweet - I totally agree! 🤭😊
My favorite line. I hope I’m a parent like this 😂
If my marriage isn't like this I don't want it
Me neither
You want family member of the week, every week?
same!!!
Hottest parents ever?

I was gay once, for a while, it’s ok, we all do it. 😂
Jjajajaja the best scene ever
all God's children
'Where are you from originally?' murrrderrr 😂
bruh 💀
if i ever adopted a kid, I'd make sure to do this to him. like maybe once every two years or so.
This... and "I got a 100 on my Spelling Test!!!" "Everything has Spellcheck these days." lol
This made me miss me and my dad’s sarcastic banter. We could go on for hours, my mom would just laugh. Screw Cancer.
i'm sorry for your loss but it sounds like you have great memories with your dad. may he rest in peace
I'm sorry. I lost my dad cuz of colon cancer. I'm glad I had 10 years with him, some kids don't have any at all.
💙
Screw congestive heart failure, too.
I 100% aspire to become a parent like these two. XD
I love them so so much!
Stanley Tucci is just a hell of an actor period.
"A high end stripper for governors" bahahaha
Or athletes
I feel like these parents were written as wish fulfillment by…….. everyone! 😄
Don't we all.

Very understanding parents..love them..
I feel like this movie is soooo underrated, and the family dynamic is amazing. Stanley Tucci is so perfect in those characters.
I wish Stanley Tucci was my dad.
We all do, Douglas. We all do.
Ditto bro. Either Stanley Tucci or Kevin Costner
Douglas, I will be your Stanley Tucci
same
I wish he was my husband 😅
Penderghasts are literally the most nice and witty parents ever.
This guy can literally play anyone
Tucci was at peak handsomeness upon this film.
He's * f i n e * here

When you are married to Tammy 1 you have to make sense.
"Are you accusing me of nepotism?" Bruhhhh 🤣🤣🤣
I was always a fan of Stanley Tucci's work. I developed a crush (still on-going) on him after seeing this film.
I also have developed a huge crush on him
Coolest movie parents ever in any holywood movie !!
Are you accusing me of nepotism …? Lol
I have this strange attraction to Stanley Tucci, I just find him sooo incredible hot even when he's being full sass... nice to see that I'm not alone...
It’s not strange trust me
This is my ALL TIME FAVOURITE go too movie.
one great masterpiece of all movies in its own timeline ❤️

I’ve seen this movie, 50% for Emma stone and Amanda Bynes and the other 50 is just Stanley Tucci
Got damn when did stanely become this hot
I love how in almost every movie Stanley Tucci gives a hint of the fact he’s gay
My BF and I aren't even living together yet, and I already know we're going to be this kind of parent to our kids 😂

I'm sad that you cut out when he pulls Olive aside and says "I bet that girl was acting exactly like what you called her." Such good parenting
Are you accusing me of nepotism 🤣🤣🤣
She’s also the mom in the Motherlover video..never forget!
And she married Ron Swanson!
I love the adoption line

my husband and i say "T t t t t t... t.... t t t t t... t.... TTTTTTTTTTTT...." at least thrice weekly... STILL.
Lovely parents and parenting
"Where are you from originally?" 😂
I remember watching this movie and thinking it was another dumb comedy but it’s actually great. The Tucc is part of the reason.
I thought he looked great in this film
I am glad that he picked The Bucket List. The Other Boylen Girl was horrible.
This is such a good family I wish to have this relationship with my daughter lol
happy birthday patricia clarkson from italian boy live in rome
I want a dad like him!! And I’m 53.
He's the best!

Patricia Clarkson is a Goddess! But always with drink in her hand.
god damn patricia clarkson always looks fine
Never knew Pepe Reina could act too 😂
😂😂
Have you seen younger Stanley Tucci? Damn
Nigel Kipling and Tammy Swanson huh, who'd have thought it?
Stanley is the reason I watched this movie ❤
It’s Tammy 1!
Someone spelled Patricia Clarkson's name wrong. Just kidding I LOVE them both, but she really pairs excellently with Tucci here
Complete lack of allure? WHAT?!
