i agree
What I meant was from the current cast, I know there was lots of great casts in the past.
So let's just forget Chris rock, Adam Sandler, Tina fey, Kristen wig, Amy Pohler, Andy Samberg, jimmy fallon or WILL fucking FARRELL!! Just to name a few...Get outta here newb!
figure of speech,,,geez
5:05 Cecily quietly giving Ryan Gosling his line bc he's laughing too hard is great
They litterally cannot look at each other or they’re gonna fucking lose it
I was just thinking this lmfaaooo not one them kept eye contact with Kate 😭
I think it’s funny when it’s genuine. I think you can tell the difference between genuinely being caught off guard and just trying to get a cheap laugh. The breaking of character here really works
Stfu. Dumbest comment goes to you
@@theoldone3485 it's unprofessional and childish. No wonder none of them are good actors.
You're LITTERLY so funny.
“Look it wasn’t my worst Wednesday night” I lost it at that part, couldn’t stop laughing 😂 they should make a movie of this 👏👏👏
Blondie Seeker They really need to. SNL use to make movies from their best skits like Wayne’s World.
A movie? It wasn't that funny.
What does she mean by that?
I'd go see that movie. I laughed my butt off at these skits.
I know right? I died when she said "wasn't my worst Wednesday night"
This skit really channels the spirit of a nurse who's been working in a hospital for 20+ years.
I never saw it until I read this comment but now I can't unsee it. 100% true lmfao.
you are so right it's not even funny!
@@ashleystafford4600 To put it in modern terms: slow clap emoji. Thx Ashley.
Yup all the girls in my family are nurses, 100% correct 😂😂😂
Or an overnight Denny's waitress
I’m literally crying with laughter 😂 and to watch Ryan break character is priceless
Look at Kate look over. Gotcha !!!
OMFG Kate is ridiculous. She killed the whole set. I swear I heard camera guys laughing
When was that?
Of course you did. Shit is really funny. I watch it over and over again!
3:45 sound like Ryan couldn't contain his laughter any more 🤣
When a comedian can make the camera guys laugh and you can hear it; THAT IS A COMEDIC GENIUS AND LEGEND
3:03 she nearly cracked.
I don't think I've ever seen Bobby, Cecily, Kate or Aidy break character until this sketch. Loved it.
+Erik Shaw I've seen Bobby break only in one other sketch, and that was a Scared Straight skit with Hader and Samberg.
+Rajith Maligaspe oh yeah! Forgot about that one
+Erik Shaw lol me too. Man, I miss Bill Hader XD
+Erik Shaw Kate broke when Amy Adams was like attacking her during the Cat Adoption sketch.
+Rajith Maligaspe Hader always broke character. Loved it!
The sketches where a cast member breaks down in laughter is always great. Hence why I miss Bill Hader.
Yessss we miss stefan!!
The creator of Stefan, the SNL writer John Mulaney, used to throw new lines into the the cue cards to get him to break: watch?v=aWv7x5mJMA4
+Conor Wade Adam Sandler wrote a song specifically about that
+Conor Wade Noot really. They're actors, so they're supposed to not break character.
This shit would never fly on MAD TV.

This is one of the greatest SNL skits ever. It gets me every time.
Cecily feeding ryan his line lol 5:06 cuz he's losing it 🤣
Good ear
Oh ya think Todd?!
Great catch-didn't notice until I looked for it. The way she says "Man..." in the almost mumble.
That's amazing you got that. Great job!!
Lol noticed this too second time I watched it
Kate McKinnon is seriously so fucking funny.
Fabian B. She made Ryan Gosling broke out of character
She's killing me with what I'd like to call a reverse Basic Instinct thing going on
I might be in love with her, she’s so brilliant!!
@@bja808 where is that
@@whatever16jb17 the entire sketch just watch his face
I gotta admit that is one of my favorite SNL skits of all time ---and this is viewing that goes back to like, '87...
The only sketch funnier than this one is the Debbie Downer episode where she goes to Disneyland. You really need to watch that one.
That is great, when they are all cracking up. They need to crack up more.
Mine goes all the way back to the first cast (!!) and I agree with you! This is one of my favorites of all time :)
I can't stop watching this clip because it is so brilliant. Kate McKinnon knows exactly what she has to do get the other cast members to break character, and when you see that twinkle in her eyes, you know immediately that she's going in for the kill. Kudos to everyone!!!
"Look... it wasn't my worst Wednesday night." Friggen hilarious.
+Aimless Moto - I so agree; I just lost it on that line, lmfao!
+AimlessMoto that was my fave line.
+AimlessMoto Along with the look she gives afterwards. lol
+AimlessMoto I think she said "it one my worst wednesday night"
sent in birthday luminous benching ngjn hunb. ink knok jjioljuojm¡ouohgoi gnnkmbj churchmen
Best three lines:
"I don't think I was dealing with the top brass"
"It felt super off the books"
"It wasn't my worst Wednesday night"
"Look it wasnt my worst Wednesday night " hahaha
ONE OF THE GREATEST SKITS OF THE PAST DECADE! THANK YOU!
+WHATTHEBUCKSHOW So, what you're saying is that this show's last funny moment was around the same time you were relevant?
+WHATTHEBUCKSHOW Your skits were always hilarious on Whose Line Is It Anyways
+WHATTHEBUCKSHOW True, this is the first skit in the last 2 seasons that has really made me laugh.
+ragnar97 That comment makes complete sense...SNL can only make 70 year old people laugh. Lorne Michaels (Lipowitz) is the Vince McMahon of humor....totally out of touch.
I forgot you existed
How can you not break character around Kate. She's hilarious!
wtfkendrick she makes everyone break LOL
I love how even when Kate broke sometimes, she kinda waited a few beats, just enough to at least collect herself and be able to deliver her lines with the right timing. I think they would've lost the audience if she wasn't able to do that. Cecily also found her straight face back at the right moments, lol! I can't imagine how hard that must be. Respect!
This is still one of the best moments of comedy ever put to screen. I always have to come back to it every now and then for a solid belly laugh
When Kate breaks character you know they're dying inside lol
I love her, she's an SNL blessing
🥇
As they step off stage, I love the way Kate grabs Gosling's hand and asks him to tell her about god...
"were they collecting biological data?"
"no... no that felt super off the books."
can someone tell me what does it mean ?
@@Kakashi1G as in they werent doing the usual stuff they are supposed to do, they werent following the manual, kind of illegal, big scandal would happen if rest of the aliens find out
@@Kakashi1G "off the books" means that they were most likely doing something nor officially registered, sketchy, not the usual way, most likely illegal. Like making a transaction but not registering it in your books to avoid tax. The point of this skit is the first two were officially abducted while the third was taken unofficially by the low-level alien workers because they were curious. Later she silently was dumped out of the ship.
@@Kakashi1G - basically SOP for the federal government.
That line, at the next one, "it wasn't my worst Wednesday night", were hilarious.
If there was ever an OSCAR performance Kate McKinnon deserves one for this encounter. I laugh every time I watch this and thank her from the bottom of my heart for it.
This skit will go down with one of the greats. Mark my word.
I just posted that same thing. People will watch this for the next 20 plus years. This was one of the best skits I have ever seen.
Stella Von Cruel I searched up "Saturday night live funniest moments" and this was the first thing to show up.
"Full Porky piggin it in a drafty dome".. I'm dying 😂😂
That's when I lost it 🤣🤣
Fucking A me too
The best thing is always seeing Kate make others break character 😂
I CAN'T STOP YELLING!!!
TRUE OMG
This isn't that funny!
Tiana Pi Tesr You might be right on that... it's mainly funny because Ryan Gosling is losing it.
You're right it's shoved down our throats.
This is my favorite skit for Kate. She is comedy gold! I love her
2:05 ..."I was full Porky-Piggin' it in a drafty dome.' - holy-jeez, so hilarious
4:53 "i had to just chill up there with my damn coot-coot and prune shoot hanging out" . . . classic
I think the "coot-coot and prune chute" line may have been one of the funniest things I've heard in my whole life.
2nd time I've heard that expression on tv. First was Swoosie Kurtz on Mike & Molly. Hilarious!
I know I lost it.
0:51 The breaking begins
1:45 It gets worse
3:45 He's screwed
4:02 Fatality
4:26 Camera 1 second too slow to miss Cecily crack
5:06 Cecily to the rescue
Wow good catch at 4:26

Nailed it
Man, you got screwed!
