fun fact: Harrison liked this interview with Alison so much that every time he is in London to promote a movie he specifically asks for her because he enjoyed this interview so much. that's honestly just something that makes me smile a little bit.

@@miralabualjadail4206 I sort of agree. There are multiple interviews and comments on interviews in which he states that he hates it. Most A listers do, I think. That doesn’t mean he isn’t great to work with or isn’t a nice human being.

FUN FACT: Harrison Ford laughed more during this interview than he had in his entire life preceding it.

I wish this interview was at least x10 times longer, such a gem
that is exactly what i wanted, and i think they couldn't post or show only but these scenes because it is obvious that the actors were laughing all the time of the interview and barely said any thing in complete sentence.
i never saw Harrison Ford laugh like that in an interview about a movie, Alison's has her on way to break the ice and let the celebrity engage with her jokes and witty lines.

i watched so many interviews on the graham norton show, but didn't watch Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling interview being together on graham norton, i watched either of them on the show. but never together which i know there is an episode for this interview.

I can say for sure I never have. It's like an alternative universe version of him lol. Even when David Blaine showed him unexplaiable magic he still wasn't as happy and impressed as he is here

Hammond's delivery on "Never seen it." was just perfect.
It’s known that Harrison has severe anxiety and the way she put him at ease and made him comfortable enough to come out of his shell with her humor and laughter it’s just a beautiful thing to see.
This host is amazing! She immediately set the tone and brought a sense of play. She even got deadpan HF to say, hey lighten it up! That's some killer skill if you can get him to utter more than a few grunted syllables.
This host?! “This host” is only bloody Allison Hammond!
HF doesn't seem deadpan to me, he seems real, not slightly coked up and fake enthusiastic promo mode like 98% of these interviews usually are because the paycheck was already cashed in the bank and they can't wait to be done with it and be out the door in 5 minutes

You can see the light come on in Harrison’s eyes during the first laugh when he recognizes that this is not going to be just another interview.

I love it how the interview didn't end up being a interview
It's such a hilarious interview contrasted with such a dark, bleak film. But truly, once Hammond broke with, "Never seen it" it set the tone so perfectly for the remainder of the interview. Honestly, it also helped with advertising the movie, because it IS a bleak, dystopian movie! I think Ford and Gosling needed some light-hearted banter to break up the sad monotony. It might have been a relief for them both.

I think Harrison liked Alison's sense of humor so much that in one of the future interviews he actually stole her line "how much".
I think both Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling, and other celebrities she interviews, like her so much because she is genuinely just having fun talking to them and being herself.
Too funny! She actually got Harrison Ford to loosen up! I get the impression that he HATES to be interviewed.
Most interviews are the same thing asked over and over, usually a topic they're not interested in, promotional stuff. So being able to just piss around is probably a nice break for actors.
I love coming back and rewatching this. You can tell Harrison Ford is genuinely having such a good time here :)

This might be the best interview ever. Ryan and her should do some sort of buddy travel vlog, he’s got a great humour and they bounce off one another really well. I think they both appreciated just being talked to normally, with good banter.. she’s a great leveller.

I come back to this every year, to laugh and smile again with them. Whats interesting is you know Harrison is 100% sincerely enjoying himself usually hes got a straight face, not impressed by much and Ryan just goes with the flow Alison does a great job of bringing out the best in people.
