Yes. I think the movie should have won best picture too. Out of Africa - one of the most overrrated movies won. And Ford lost to William Hurt who won because he played a gay man who kisses a man in a film.
What I love about him is he's so genuine and humble like when he said he was just grateful to have a job, and he doesn't get carried away by his fame but he's a really good actor if you watch the drama movies he did like Regarding Henry and Witness.

To me it's very endearing to see that a man who played such strong, resolute, iconic characters, is a man after all.

It's not because I have a thing for him because I don't. And I don't think I remember him as any one character the most. He seems to defy being typecast as just Han or just Indiana. You can see why he got the part. He was 30 something then.
