- Here is a recorded call with Chelsea from Boards and Blooms Co.
I hope all of her questions regarding starting a business help you in deciding if this is the path you want to pursue...
I figured this would be Part 1, because there is some much more to consider when starting a business. Obviously, a lot of it is covered in BBB Course. And the things I teach you can save you hundreds of dollars on costly mistakes.
Remember to follow @oliveandnectar for all things grazing... The Graze Academy has now moved to that IG page. :)
BBB includes the bonuses until 9/21/2020 !

Amazing video! Thank you for this great insight!
I love that word: combinize !
Hi really enjoyed watching and learning
This video is absolute gold of information. True hustlers know how to broaden their income. Thank you for this video
aww thank you very much! This comment made me smile :)
what should the profit margin be for boards/boxes?
I loved this video, can you tell me what you mean when you said you prep 2 days in advance for graze tables/catering - I want to add this to my services and I think prepping is a good idea but what do you mean by prepping? Like you set up the boards ready to go? Or do you cut up everything and arrange it when you get to the place you’re catering? Sorry for the long question.
Hi Rachel, thank you for watching! :) So when I refer to prepping a couple days in advance, I mean with all boards and cheese knives ready to go- and also will do nonperishable items such as nuts, crackers, chocolates, etc. -- That way, the day of or night prior to your event, you are not scrambled running around trying to get it all done. :)
We go more in-depth in our BBB Course! Check it out. Only $99!
I make smaller boards for family events from time to time but was just asked to make a grazing table for a graduation party of maybe about 100 ppl. I was wondering how much to buy.. as in cheeses, meats, fruits.. etc. I just don’t want to overbuy but also not have enough. Please help. TIA!
Great video, Sofia! Thank you for all the info! I just started looking into Grazing Business to go along with the Picnics arrangements. Question: when it's in a hustler gig stage and you are just probing, do you still need to get License and Permit? License is like $1K
Hi Irina! Thank you for watching my content. :) Love to have you here!
@@SofiaDedola Great response, Sofia! I am totally happy with your answer! You have this gracious way to lead your followers to their passionate business!
Great video! My wife is interested in starting a grazing table business. I was wondering if you could recommend some charcuterie tools or display items or bowl sets. I would like to get her a few nice things to get started with. Thanks!
Aww you are such a thoughtful husband. Lots of great items here:

When you started doing boards did you use disposable boards? Or do you get them back from customer sorry if it’s a stupid question.
I have a catering business, I can say that the best thing to do is get disposable stuff. Otherwise, you will spend more gas and time picking stuff up.
How do you calculate the price on your platter?
The Rule of 3... :)
What if someone's has a cake decorating business and want this as an add on service. Would you recommend it be a separate business with different social media pages?
Hi Nicole, I think that's a great Idea to add this to your business- if you are focusing on ONE part of this side; ie boards ONLY. or tables ONLY-But if you want to add the whole "cones, tables, boxes, boards" then that will need it's own account in my opinion :) And then maybe cakes are an add on to that business :)
@@SofiaDedola thank you for the feedback
How do you transport nuts on a board and keep them in place?
Look into disposable boxes.
Do you rent a commercial kitchen or do you have your own?
Hi Dawn, Yes I had a commercial kitchen I was working out of!
Can you make a podcast 👀
oooohh- I've thought about it, but didn't know if this business is so visual- What could you see episodes being about? :D
@@SofiaDedola legal side of the business, where and how to find clients, and everything else that doesn’t need the visual part
How is this helpful? I feel like she’s asking more so about her business than anyone starting off.
Hmmmm, maybe it's more specific to California.. But some of these questions are helpful if you're starting off. What types of questions do you have that I could answer?
How is this NOT helpful? There’s lots of information here. If you’re advanced in your knowledge, it’s not Sofia’s fault. Yes, I wasn’t expecting this interview style, but I got a lot of takeaways
