I visited this place last year with a friend whilst on a, ahem, social weekend 😊 not least because beer had shall we say been flowing. Your review is an absolute mirror image of my experience insofar as it was a massively overpriced experience. For a start it's an absolute bear pit in there and was incredibly noisy with all the music and general hubub going on. I don't eat seafood so I was on to a loser from the start but my mate said the lobster was tough as a Turkish wrestlers jockstrap and, like you, went back and had the same result. The Carvery was a nightmare with, as you say, beef that looked like it had been slowly passed over a zippo lighter for 5 minutes, Yorkshire puddings that exploded when you cut/bit them, cauliflower cheese you could break a window with and tepid at best roast potatoes. The desserts looked like things from a cash and carry, the cheese ridiculously thinly sliced making it more suitable for a stained cheese window and 3 kinds of very basic crackers. The beer prices were crazy even for London and you're right in that I had a far far better Roast dinner at the 8 Bells in Fulham the day before for a fraction of this. I wouldn't have given it 1 never mind 3 and a half. Love your work Sir and keep it going.
Hi everyone. Please accept my apologies for the format on this video. I know the vast majority of you prefer a live reaction but with the background noise from the live music being so loud in the restaurant, I didn't think it would make for a great viewing experience for you all. Back to normal on the next one and I hope you enjoy the video.
Hiya Gary! Sorry that this wasn’t such a good experience for you. Me, my husband and my 3 year old son watch every video of yours while we eat our dinner ! Our son asks for “Gary to come to our house” every time dinner is dished up 🤣 he also says your infamous catchphrase “lets give it a go” I was wondering if possible on a future video are you able to say hello to him? Kind regards Jodie
It's a great video, Gary - you did really well to adapt to the situation, and I thought the format of the video worked really well. You explained everything excellently and the video was nicely edited with plenty of shots from inside the restaurant. Honestly, within no time at all I stopped even noticing the change in format and I was just enjoying the video. It would have been silly to film inside - it was too noisy. So you made the smart choice and adapted the video format to suit the situation, and made an excellent video as always! You could have made an even smarter choice and done a runner without paying! (I'm joking!)
Hi Gary, thanks for this review, so I can avoid the place. Not that I would pay that much, anyway. The buffet at The Glass House you went to before this one, looked fabulous. Besides the poor food in this place, I can’t abide noisy dining places.

I had the buffet at Cesars Palace in Las Vegas and that cost $110 per head, but there were more than 200 dishes to try. £100 for this, shows a lot of people have more money than sense.
I am off to Vegas next month - might look at that buffet. $110 sounds a lot, but not too bad when you think that the hotel I am staying in has a revolving restaurant that costs around $80 per person just for a main course.

There is an All you can eat buffet just outside Paris (Grand Buffet) for 1/2 that price that serves fresh lobster etc that has been voted one of the best on the world! Gary, for that price you could get to France, eat at The Grand Buffet and come home with a great feed!
Very respected the Grand Buffet. My student, who is a teacher herself, dropped in there during a trip to Paris in the Olympics with her school students. Rated it good quality and not overpriced.
Best review I have watched of yours Gary. I admire your honesty. That is a lot of money for food that were not up to the standard of somewhere a lot cheaper !!!
Fabulous Sir Gary !! great bank holiday Monday upload. Cheers. The beauty and honesty of your channel is to expose and compliment the best and the worst of society. Quality is paramount, Quantity does help as per all the Michelin Stars reviews. You get nothing with the top M Stars but the food looks amazing.
Gary, I went to have a look a your Glasshouse review to compare with The Ned and frankly, there is no comparison. The management at The Ned should hang their heads in shame at the woeful offering compared with the Glasshouse. No doubt people will shout out that Central London has its own challenges and this may be so, but your review score was generous. A 1.5 out of 10 would not have been unreasonable in my view, looking at the indifferent quality you experienced. Forking out hard earned money for an experience at a supposed 'top end' establishment should mean quality. The food should be sourced from exceptional retailers, artisans and farms; also, to be cooked well and presented with respect to customers. To all intents, The Ned appears not to bother but relies on its 'name'. Also, my slightly under done lamb chops this evening would probably have earned a higher score from you! 😃
£100 bleeding hell £5 for water And a service charge ( which you should have got a rebate for) You do know how to make me lol though Gary - having a lie down when you showed the bill. By the way I've a better cheese selection in my Fridge. Your 3,5 score was spot on. Thankyou so much for another fascinating review . absolutely jaw dropping 👍👍👍
Well done Gary and the cameraman for another great video. Even if it was tricky to film. For £100 I'd expect to be able to pick and name the cow for my roast dinner.
Some people are willing to pay more not because of the quality of the product, but because the price point allows them to distinguish themselves from others. A blindspot that marketing firms and luxury brands know all too well.
@@GaryEats Worse than average if you can't hear yourself think! I worked as a steward at Hay On Wye years ago and I saw a talk with AA Gill. He said he preferred home cooked food with his friends; he said restaurants have forgotten or don't understand 'conviviality'. You can't really create it. In my experience, it's something you stumble upon on your travels, and when you do, everything tastes brilliant. Conviviality is my favourite word.
Always enjoy your videos Gary and this one was no exception. I work about 100 metres from there and eat lunch at The Ned 5 or 6 times a year. Never had the buffet but the grub in their other restaurants is actually pretty good. Obviously expensive given the location, but not too bad.
I love your review. As a retired hotel manager, I understand the challenges of maintaining high standards in a "5-star" venue. There's often a tendency for complacency to set in, with the mistaken belief that a 5-star rating automatically guarantees excellence. However, standards are only as good as the manager allows them to be, which requires constant monitoring and a readiness to address any issues promptly. Service at this level must be impeccable, much like a high wire walker who has no tolerance for complacency-one slip, and he is no longer a high wire walker. Regarding your experience, If food were delivered like that in my hotel, there would be serious repercussions. You know, customers paying high prices and receiving sub-par service often experience what's known as "cognitive dissonance". Admitting they've been given less than they expect is uncomfortable and humiliating, so they deceive themselves into believing the service is good to alleviate their discomfort. This to a degree probably accounts for how busy it was. If there were a Toby carvery across the street, I would guess that this venue would still be packed because of the prestige and that can have no correlation to the food and service alone. Regarding the cheese, there is no excuse for leaving it out like that. Each plate should be have see through covers and not left at room temperature. If I may make a recommendation, the best service I ever experienced was at the restaurant atop the British Museum. (I've no idea what it's like now) The house manager there was exceptionally proactive, with a keen eye for detail. Nothing escaped his notice, and I was so impressed that I offered him a job, which he declined. The experience was outstanding, from the first sip of the squash and orange soup, the heavens opened and the angels began to sing. For me, it was a "6-star" experience. Keep your reviews coming; they are very informative and entertaining.
Thank you very much for your wonderful comment, you would understand completely the need to make everything perfect for these prices, the whole establishment is incredibly busy so maybe that could be the excuse for everything not being A1, But even so for this kind of money, you would expect better, I appreciate you watching and commenting and please have a wonderful Sunday
I was having beef in Simpson's and someone in the party asked for Well done, the server heaved that great domed cover which he had earlier removed with a flourish and hung on the side of the trolly, over the joint with less flourish and wheeled it away. No problem, he soon returned with a new joint and carved from the outside.
Great video Gary! I've been bingeing on your video's for the last few days trying to get my appetite back as I have abdominal issues. New subscriber :) I love your delivery and presentation style - Expect to hit that 100k soon!
My first impression was that it looked like a £40 buffet, jacked up to £100, purely for the location & some old lobster. I think the sheer noise would have turned me away at the start. Your review of The Glasshouse was the first video I watched on your channel & that is a buffet I'd love to try, but this one seemed to certainly miss the mark. Those Yorkshire puddings alone were a crime! 😅
I am so glad you did a review I was one of those people who asked you to review it. I am so glad you did because your opinion was so honest. I wanted to go to the world's best buffet in France but I saw Ned's and I thought hmm why not go here but there were not many reviews about it . Thank you Gary !!!
Great review as always Gary fair play for the format change well thought out varied food options, food looks nice keep up the great videos Gary and the terrific, varied content
£100 !!! +13.5% service charge = £119.17 with a 2-hour limit on the Buffet, I'd expect a lot more quality than this. Thank you Gary for saving me the headache on this one.
You were spot on with those comments Gary from the footage you showed. Can whole heartedly agree with a 3.5 rating. P.S. if you ever visit Derbyshire I would recommend for a top quality meal 'rafters ashford in the water'. Love the channel Gary. Keep up the good work, you do a sterling job.
I've never been impressed with buffets... I feel bad that you wasted a $100 on that!! Never again I'd say!😂 Thank you for another great video Gary..😊Cheers!!
Thanks Gary for another excellent video review; what I really appreciate is how fair you are about the staff- shame that the quality of the produce didn’t match up, hopefully the owners will take note. However it did look like a terrific venue and I guess those exorbitant overheads have to be taken into consideration…. As ever keep’em coming!
I can't bear crowds and noise so this would be my worst nightmare. I think £50 would still be too much to pay for a buffet and I'd give the other £50 to a small charity if I had that much cash to throw at a lunch. Good on you for trying it so we can avoid places like this! I like that you review a real range of places. Price doesn't always mean good.
A trick pulled at Buffets is to have the music super loud so people do not linger and eat more. More and more restaurants here in Oz are closing as can't get people thru the doors but they never acknowledge they are overpriced with minimal servings. They never consider giving value for money to promote or build customer loyalty, they just whinge about wages and then fold.
Isn't that way sometimes. Expensive and not living up to the hype. That was a very expensive meal. I scratch my head and wonderful why it was so busy ? You were spot on Gary with the review. Be Well my friend 👍👍 Jim and Harriet
Over £100 for a 2hr buffet - its aimed at a well off audience. Even for those who will spend £100 on a one-off basis - there are so many better alternatives. Great review as always. You appeal to the fusspots amongst us - who are picky when when spend good money on food. Look forward to your 100,000 subs episode.
Buffets on the ferries between Helsinki and Stockholm cost around 40 euros, and the drinks are included, wine, beer and soft drinks and the food selection is much better.
@@GaryEats yes, If you travel, try It sometimes. They even have seasonal delicacies and world cuisine themes. Game or reindeer are something else compared to dull chicken.
Gary it may just be me but with you tagging " I wasn't impressed" gives away how everything turns out rather prefer finding out in the video as I am watching . lol that Yorkshire pudding looked scary .
£100 buffet, seriously Londoners live in another world! Packed at £100 a pop, they must be doing a killing! id rather go to two or 3 different nice restaraunts at that price! Cheers Gary!
Great review Gary under difficult conditions.....tbf the location and place looked stunning and the food from the outside ....however for that price you should be having a great experience and each course and range should be top notch!
Thanks for the heads up Gary - I was thinking of taking the missus here for our anniversary but will certainly go elsewhere now. Maybe a Toby Carvery to save some pennies!
I've been in the Ned a few times and it really seems like a 'love it or hate it' place, lots of city types who don't mind blowing their cash on expensive stuff that's more for show than anything else. It's a beautiful setting but it seems to be let down by the huge open space and is always noisy.
I have been in The Ned ,years ago in the evening .Yes ,i remember it being very ,very noisy and the staff were amazing . I could never spend £100 ona buffet meal as i simply wouldn’t be able to eat so much food .Great review ,thankyou Gary .
Phew that beef looked like it should still be running around our farm lol. I think I'll stick to our local pub. I could have fed the whole farm staff for less than that.. well obviously you wasn't impressed 😂. Great looking forward to the next review. Regards to the family and Camara Man
Wow, you really do a great service with these videos. You have saved many people from wasting 100 smackers on an overpriced ear splitting buffet. You also lead people to the good places. Thank you again, really enjoyable video as always.
Money laundering operation ... because it's not the food, let's face it. And it's certainly not the ambience! The level of noise is probably considered torture in the international definition, hence money laundering ... certainly washed Gary out of his hard earned cash.
Did the buffet years ago when the Ned was still newish. It was £45 and back then it felt expensive, but the food was fab and you weren’t rushed. Would not go near it now, even though the Ned is still one of my fav places in London. Best time to go is daytimes, or Tuesday/Wednesday and go to one of the restaurants away from the stage. You’ll still hear the music, but you’ll also be able to have a conversation.
Service charge for a buffet? Are they taking the P? And a Lady Godiva for a bottle of water? - that's a rip off. I think I'd prefer a Toby Carvery since my expectations wouldn't be that high. That was disappointing.
This really makes you appreciate the affordable restaurants that manage to combine quality and a fair price. 100 pounds is an absolute disgrace for what they're serving.
If you want a good carvery come to Saxon Hall in Southend, You'll have to book up about three weeks in advance for the Sunday one, but they also have the carvery on the first Wednesday of every month. Their sweet trolley is something to die for. It can be noisy, but where isn't these days ?
Not a good dining experience by the look of things, with the noise. Definitely should have had a wider variety of options on the beef as well. For £100 you want things to be how you like it, if you don’t like it rare, tough!? That’s not good enough
For 100 pounds I would have expected roast lamb. And they offered up chicken, what a disgrace. One look at that carvery, I would be asking for a refund and walked out. i hope you write a strongly worded letter Gary. If spotty teenagers can get big Macs perfect all over the world, then it beggars belief that these guys can't even cook. Great idea not to film inside, you are the master of always doing the right thing.

No comparison whatsoever, Glasshouse light years ahead!!
I’ve rebooked to return to The Glasshouse for a third time. It’s awesome
Admire you honesty Gary, many thanks. Nice to have reviews you can trust.
Thank you Carol, try my best
Good recovery Gary, you adapt and overcome. That's the END of the NED.
Thanks Paul top man
£100 bleeding hell
£5 for water
And a service charge ( which you should have got a rebate for)
You do know how to make me lol though Gary - having a lie down when you showed the bill.
By the way I've a better cheese selection in my Fridge. Your 3,5 score was spot on. Thankyou so much for another fascinating review . absolutely jaw dropping 👍👍👍
It was ridiculous Paul. Take care mate
Well done Gary and the cameraman for another great video. Even if it was tricky to film. For £100 I'd expect to be able to pick and name the cow for my roast dinner.
Thank you James
Some people are willing to pay more not because of the quality of the product, but because the price point allows them to distinguish themselves from others. A blindspot that marketing firms and luxury brands know all too well.
It's a really average dining experience
@@GaryEats Worse than average if you can't hear yourself think! I worked as a steward at Hay On Wye years ago and I saw a talk with AA Gill. He said he preferred home cooked food with his friends; he said restaurants have forgotten or don't understand 'conviviality'. You can't really create it. In my experience, it's something you stumble upon on your travels, and when you do, everything tastes brilliant. Conviviality is my favourite word.
You can imagine that every day the beef comes out different and they always say “ that’s the way we do it “ !! Thanks for the review Gary 🐮
Lol no problem Denise
So much for the cost of living crisis Gary! Its a different planet for some😂
Horribly overpriced in my opinion
My thoughts exactly. Depression or recession, so many people suffer but some literally ‘live high on the hog’. That’s reality I suppose.
Always enjoy your videos Gary and this one was no exception. I work about 100 metres from there and eat lunch at The Ned 5 or 6 times a year. Never had the buffet but the grub in their other restaurants is actually pretty good. Obviously expensive given the location, but not too bad.
Top man Jonathan. I was very disappointed by what was on offer here
I love your review.
Regarding your experience,
If food were delivered like that in my hotel, there would be serious repercussions.
(I've no idea what it's like now)
The house manager there was exceptionally proactive, with a keen eye for detail.
Very nice, that's good to hear
It’s good that Simpsons still offer this choice.
@@spaceodds1985 This was over fifty years ago.
I miss Simpsons so much !!! What an historic place to eat. An almost cinematic experience every time
The speed the camera man got over that road to get you walking in, exceptional skill. It must be in the genes..
Lol!! Usain Bolt is behind the camera
...or the jeans ;-)
Thanks Gary - We will strike this off the bucket list.........
I fully understand
For that kind of money you'd think if they burnt the Yorkshire pudding they'd just make a new batch. Not even expensive to replace.
Couldn't believe how burnt they were
Almost cremated.
@@pattij2961 This sums up London perfectly. No repeat trade and everybody on the take.
Great video Gary! I've been bingeing on your video's for the last few days trying to get my appetite back as I have abdominal issues. New subscriber :)
I love your delivery and presentation style - Expect to hit that 100k soon!
Thank you so much and I really hope your appetite returns, it can be very annoying when you lose it. All the best and thank you
My first impression was that it looked like a £40 buffet, jacked up to £100, purely for the location & some old lobster. I think the sheer noise would have turned me away at the start. Your review of The Glasshouse was the first video I watched on your channel & that is a buffet I'd love to try, but this one seemed to certainly miss the mark. Those Yorkshire puddings alone were a crime! 😅
No comparison to the Glasshouse this was just a tourist trap Erin
I am so glad you did a review I was one of those people who asked you to review it. I am so glad you did because your opinion was so honest. I wanted to go to the world's best buffet in France but I saw Ned's and I thought hmm why not go here but there were not many reviews about it . Thank you Gary !!!
I will try and do that this year Jack but it has a very long waiting list
Great review as always Gary fair play for the format change well thought out varied food options, food looks nice keep up the great videos Gary and the terrific, varied content
Glad you enjoyed it I try to mix it up
£100 !!! +13.5% service charge = £119.17 with a 2-hour limit on the Buffet, I'd expect a lot more quality than this.
Thank you Gary for saving me the headache on this one.
Not a problem
You were spot on with those comments Gary from the footage you showed. Can whole heartedly agree with a 3.5 rating. P.S. if you ever visit Derbyshire I would recommend for a top quality meal 'rafters ashford in the water'. Love the channel Gary. Keep up the good work, you do a sterling job.
Great suggestion Simon I’ll definitely take a look thank you
Poor camerman is working hard to pump out this volume of content. Hope he's making bank. 😂
Lol he's trying his best
I've never been impressed with buffets... I feel bad that you wasted a $100 on that!! Never again I'd say!😂 Thank you for another great video Gary..😊Cheers!!
You are always welcome thank you
Thanks Gary for another excellent video review; what I really appreciate is how fair you are about the staff- shame that the quality of the produce didn’t match up, hopefully the owners will take note. However it did look like a terrific venue and I guess those exorbitant overheads have to be taken into consideration…. As ever keep’em coming!
Thank you Jamie it was packed so they are doing something right, just not sure what though lol 😂
Good review Gaz lad and you were killing it in your pink boss t-shirt lol 👍👍
Lol top man Gaz, you could see me coming a mile off lol
I can't bear crowds and noise so this would be my worst nightmare. I think £50 would still be too much to pay for a buffet and I'd give the other £50 to a small charity if I had that much cash to throw at a lunch. Good on you for trying it so we can avoid places like this! I like that you review a real range of places. Price doesn't always mean good.
Exactly. Price doesn't always mean Good,I would apply that to clothes, watches, etc
So loud. Very unnecessary
That’s a very good point and thank you very much
Not discounting your point but the néd is not just a buffet there are many restaurants and bars in a big open room
Love your work Gary🙌🏻 and you always make me hungry 😂😂
Top man Dave, thank you
9:08 a classic partridge moment
lol 😂
Thought you handled the situation with the noise beautifully. You still gave a quality review. Hope that everyone is doing well.
That’s very kind to say thank you
Good and honest review nice one Gary
Glad you enjoyed it!!
The City of London has its own laws, including overpriced buffets.
Not good
Isn't that way sometimes. Expensive and not living up to the hype. That was a very expensive meal. I scratch my head and wonderful why it was so busy ? You were spot on Gary with the review. Be Well my friend 👍👍 Jim and Harriet
This is definitely a place to be seen, but not for me, Jim and Harriet
Over £100 for a 2hr buffet - its aimed at a well off audience. Even for those who will spend £100 on a one-off basis - there are so many better alternatives. Great review as always. You appeal to the fusspots amongst us - who are picky when when spend good money on food. Look forward to your 100,000 subs episode.
Shocking. Lots of young couples and families mind you
They should include an enema at that price and that time limit.
Buffets on the ferries between Helsinki and Stockholm cost around 40 euros, and the drinks are included, wine, beer and soft drinks and the food selection is much better.
That’s great value compared to this offering
@@GaryEats yes, If you travel, try It sometimes. They even have seasonal delicacies and world cuisine themes. Game or reindeer are something else compared to dull chicken.
Honest review it’s what we like . Hope we see you back up north sometime again. Keep up the good work
I’ll be back up north soon Darren
Gary it may just be me but with you tagging " I wasn't impressed" gives away how everything turns out rather prefer finding out in the video as I am watching . lol that Yorkshire pudding looked scary .
I understand I’ll speak to the cameraman Shahid
Open up RUclips, see a video from Gary. Sorted my boring day out 👌
Legend! Thanks Danny
Excellent review, and IMO very, very fair ...
Thank you very, very much, Julie
Please give Hickory’s Smokehouse a go! They are only in the North of England but the food is quality!
One opening in Leeds next month.
I will do, it's already on the list
@@GaryEats thank you - love the videos!
There's one in the West Midlands
£100 buffet, seriously Londoners live in another world! Packed at £100 a pop, they must be doing a killing! id rather go to two or 3 different nice restaraunts at that price! Cheers Gary!
I’m with you completely
Great review Gary under difficult conditions.....tbf the location and place looked stunning and the food from the outside ....however for that price you should be having a great experience and each course and range should be top notch!
Thanks Graham 👍
Did that include caviar 🤣🤣🤣omg what a rip of . P.s clicked the like button within 7 seconds😝😝
Lol it should have done Hazel and thank you!
Cheers for this, Gary. Need a pick me up as I'm in a bad spell with my depression. Thanks again, pal xxx.
Hope you're ok Paul. Please take care!!
Feel better soon, Paul. 🙏
@Gary Eats: Cheers, mate xxx.
@haitolawrence5986: Thanks, pal xxx.
@MrGearoid65: Thank you xxx.
Thanks for the heads up Gary - I was thinking of taking the missus here for our anniversary but will certainly go elsewhere now. Maybe a Toby Carvery to save some pennies!
I wouldn’t recommend the Ned Tom
I've been in the Ned a few times and it really seems like a 'love it or hate it' place, lots of city types who don't mind blowing their cash on expensive stuff that's more for show than anything else. It's a beautiful setting but it seems to be let down by the huge open space and is always noisy.
So noisy, I was shocked
They’re on expense accounts.
“Beef looks like it’s still moving” I liked that line 🤣🤣🤣
Lol thank you
Oh I thought he said still mooing !
@@GaryEatsGary , my hearing must be bad I thought you said still mooing .
*mooing
I did say mooing I actually misread the first comment lol
I have been in The Ned ,years ago in the evening .Yes ,i remember it being very ,very noisy and the staff were amazing .
I could never spend £100 ona buffet meal as i simply wouldn’t be able to eat so much food .Great review ,thankyou Gary .
Thank you Maggie
Att £100, I think I'd eat eight lobsters.
I wouldn't, they weren't particularly great
Good strategy
That's how they get you. You think "ooh, lobster... I'll have a few of those!", then they make them so bad you don't go back for another 🤣
correction “rubbery lobsters” 🦞
not with a 2 hour limit on the table, they are really rich you would be really ill eating that much and not letting it digest.
Phew that beef looked like it should still be running around our farm lol. I think I'll stick to our local pub. I could have fed the whole farm staff for less than that.. well obviously you wasn't impressed 😂. Great looking forward to the next review. Regards to the family and Camara Man
Lol that made me laugh so much
Love the wee jog at 1:38 😂 pure Alan Partridge! Great channel mate.
That’s very kind Paul thank you 🙏
£120!?! Wow that's absolutely ridiculous 😅
Yep
Another gem Gary. 21st century dining right there.
Hope you enjoyed the video Alan
Wow, you really do a great service with these videos. You have saved many people from wasting 100 smackers on an overpriced ear splitting buffet. You also lead people to the good places. Thank you again, really enjoyable video as always.
Thank you very much and appreciate you commenting
The 'merchant bankers' who eat in there think they're paying too much tax!
Surprisingly, lots of families in there
@@GaryEats They've got too much money and not enough class
Bankers don’t go to The Ned.
@@mattseaton3521 I was using rhyming slang (hence the quote marks)
Money laundering operation ... because it's not the food, let's face it. And it's certainly not the ambience! The level of noise is probably considered torture in the international definition, hence money laundering ... certainly washed Gary out of his hard earned cash.
Hi Gary, really enjoy your channel. I'm a vegetarian, could you cover vegetarian options occasionally.
I'm vegetarian too, I watch the channel regularly because he's such a likeable person and the videos are interesting 😀
Thank you and yes absolutely I can and will do soon
Great suggestion I will very soon
Did the buffet years ago when the Ned was still newish. It was £45 and back then it felt expensive, but the food was fab and you weren’t rushed. Would not go near it now, even though the Ned is still one of my fav places in London. Best time to go is daytimes, or Tuesday/Wednesday and go to one of the restaurants away from the stage. You’ll still hear the music, but you’ll also be able to have a conversation.
Thanks for that comment, I have been interested to hear other points
Service charge for a buffet? Are they taking the P? And a Lady Godiva for a bottle of water? - that's a rip off.
I think I'd prefer a Toby Carvery since my expectations wouldn't be that high. That was disappointing.
Not good at all Hugh
This really makes you appreciate the affordable restaurants that manage to combine quality and a fair price.
100 pounds is an absolute disgrace for what they're serving.
Spot on
If you want a good carvery come to Saxon Hall in Southend, You'll have to book up
about three weeks in advance for the Sunday one, but they also have the carvery on
the first Wednesday of every month. Their sweet trolley is something to die for.
It can be noisy, but where isn't these days ?
Thank you for letting me know
Not a good dining experience by the look of things, with the noise. Definitely should have had a wider variety of options on the beef as well. For £100 you want things to be how you like it, if you don’t like it rare, tough!? That’s not good enough
Far far far too loud
God I despise London
Why? There are some wonderful restaurants in London along with lovely Galleries and Museums most of which are free entry.🤣
London is huge... The comment must mean the center..@@splodge57
London prices Gary. That would be half that up here 😂
Hugely overpriced
£13 for a gin 😂 and people will pay it!
Overpriced for sure but if you can afford it, why not.
@@DBProductions12345-m your not wrong, just principle!
Bloody ell you looked miffed. A big thumbs up for telling it like it is. Sterling work sir!
Thank you kindly
For 100 pounds I would have expected roast lamb. And they offered up chicken, what a disgrace. One look at that carvery, I would be asking for a refund and walked out. i hope you write a strongly worded letter Gary. If spotty teenagers can get big Macs perfect all over the world, then it beggars belief that these guys can't even cook. Great idea not to film inside, you are the master of always doing the right thing.
