  • Fixing BOSE Double Cube red line Speaker that gets detached from the other speaker
My dogs keep tipping over our double cube speakers and when they hit the ground, the speaker gets detached and needs to be reattached. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to reattach the speaker with just a Phillips screw driver.

I was hoping to see the back of the speaker to see the model number. I have a none redline Bose speaker from 1991 with a rattling in the top cube. The number on the back of the speaker is 147525. I think it probably will not matter much. Do you know the model number on the redline speaker?

      Hi,
I just took the speaker apart again. Looks like the numbers on the back are 176400. The smaller printed number on the back of the speaker is 9614TNK. I took apart both the top speaker and lower speaker. They both have the same serial numbers. Hope this info helps.

@@DIYwithDUY WOW Partner! You didn't have to do all that, but thank you! I can find quite a few of the "reds" cheap on EBay etc.. I don't feel there's much difference between them so I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks again👍🏾

Yeah, these speakers are okay. There are other speakers available on the market that are much better. I use these for our rear surround sound speakers mounted onto stands. My dogs keep knocking them over onto the ground and they keep getting damaged. I’ll replace them with better ones when these get too beat up to repair. Thanks for checking out the video.

Hi, Sorry about the loud music. I had other music playing quietly in the background, but RUclips flagged the video because the song was copyrighted. I had to overlap the music with another song that does not have a copyright. That’s why the music is so loud. Thanks for letting me know, I will make sure my new videos don’t have any copyrighted songs playing.

Sorry about the music. RUclips gave me issues about copyrighted music that I had playing during the recording. I had to overlap with generic music. I’ll make sure my future videos don’t have loud music playing. Thanks for watching.
