Super high level Muay Thai fighters know how to kick like this. It's called the golden kick. You do engage your hips, but its only at the last second when landing. It's less rounded so there is less time to react. Liam Harrison is famous for this, but lots of thais also have it

It’s not really a telegraph though it doesn’t show the kick is coming like stepping out or switching often can, it’s occurring during the kick not before. His opponent also absolutely cannot ignore a movement of ALEX PEREIRA’S right hand and assume it’s going to be a kick bc he can flatline you.
It really has pretty much no telegraph it’s a beautiful kick

Hes a great striker but give him a few years....those giys who keep their hands low get knocked out eventually. Everytime he throws a strike - one or both of his hands drop . Find me a guy who has strong head movement with either boxing or wrestling. Put him on his back and study his tape...middle weight and LHW divisons have always been the most stacked weight classes since 2006 off and until spider and bones

    • @AttilaTheGreat1

He became double champion at Glory Kickboxing with his hands down. Just having good head movement and being a good boxer doesnt cut it against Alex Pereira

If you don't want to get leg kicked all day, you either have to learn to predict them and check them or get your wrestling game on point. They won't be leg kicking you when they are on their back.

Legs kicks are part of the game , but calf kicks are lame to watch as a spectator imo for this reaon... Its the fighters job to avoid , but good luck lol. It doesnt take an exceptional kicker to have amazing debilitating calf kicks that can end a fight by immobilizing a leg. I think ufc fighters are already starting to get better at defending them. But at least 1 or 2 times a card a fighter is fighting on 1 leg because of calf kicks. That was the meta for the smaller guys for a minute there.
Edit: all that being said , im not complaining, just a fans observation
