I failed the road test the first time, but I took it again a week later and passed with a perfect score. My advice is, don't think about passing or failing during the test. All you should be thinking about is driving safely. Leave the results of better driving to manifest on their own; it is up to you to do the rest.

I got into an argument with the guy who gave me my written test ... he was rude .& was yelling at us ..then when i walked to the back for my driving test...he was there .when we got into the car ,i put on my seat belt & just sat there ... when he finally told me to go .. i told him i couldn't move the vehicle until he put on his seat belt ..he did & i passed with a 100% lol .

The normal proctor was out sick so cop type lady filled in I took my drivers test and some lady rammed me while I was parked at the red light. My teacher just said, " They just made the biggest mistake of their lives" :D I got a 95 on my test and the lady got 30 days in jail with a suspended license :D

Why am I watching this I have my license already
ygster99 I have my license in my current state but I'm moving soon and will have to retake the test in the new state to get a license there. I know I can pass but it's good to brush up on things
ygster99 lmao you don't have to retake the driving test if you move states. you just have to get a new physical license for the state you newly reside in. whoever told you that you have to retake the test is either really stupid, or they live in a 3rd world country.

Aquarium Guy I do have to retake because I’m under 18. I’ve moved to Texas and have a New York junior License (some restrictions). To get an equivalent license in Texas I must retake the test and even once in 18 if I havent swapped have to because I only have a junior license. To avoid taking the test I would have to keep some address in New York State and upgrade my license at 18 and at that point I could get a license swap without the test. I don’t want to go through that hassle so I am just going to retake the test.

Really good tip:
Adjust your mirror, even if it's already adjusted. Here in Portugal, at least, you have to check the mirror before you start driving. Even if it's perfect, move it a little and adjust it again, just so the teacher doesn't have a reason to fail you.

@@ashaasad3185 it was good. My advice is to chew gum under ur mask. It helps with calming nerves. Also, try and make small talk with ur instructor. It helps in the long run. I became cool with my instructor and it helped Bc I made a little mistake and he forgave me Bc of it

I took my drivers license test today and I passed!! I don’t know what my score was, but the lady who gave my my test was really nice and even gave me pointers for the parallel parking! The test wasn’t even 5 minutes long she just had me go to the park and back. I didn’t even have to do a 3 point turn. It’s better to take your driving test in a small town😂😂

Just so you know I failed and after I got out of the car I was told that it's super rare to pass at laguna hills. so dont take your test there

i also took my test at Laguna Hills and failed :-( i’ve heard that it’s actually one of the easier dmv’s in SoCal, but one of the examiners is really mean. unfortunately, i got the guy with the bad reputation, and he lives up to it!! i’m taking my second test tomorrow, and my nerves are going through the roof 😬
The best thing to do is to buy a Mustang GT500 and go to a car and coffee. Don't forget to disable traction control when leaving, it's important to impress (or plow) the crowd.

First of all I want to say I love the way in which you teach, with simplicity. Now towards the driving, when you get in the car and close the door, put on your seat belt. I am a new trainee driver determine to pass my driving test, and i believe that you're a great mentor for me.

where i lived, there was no freeway around for hours.
The place I am taking my test at next week should be easy too (less traffic, wider roads, etc...). I just hate how it is a bit out of the way; but with the local DMV closing, I don't have much options. As long as I pass the test, I think everyone would be happy.

I'm 69 going for my driver's license the second time (first license 1968 - 1984 - I lived in San Francisco for years where public transportation is great!). Well, now I'm back in Utah and need to do it again, gulp. Really, really like this guy and did subscribe and WILL follow on Facebook.

Very different in Australia, we have to pass 3 tests over a minimum 5 years to be fully licensed.

Wow in America you only have to do 2 test. The test to get the permit (have to pass with at least an 80) and then the test to get your license (your good as long as you don't get 30 points off) but depending on how much you fail will determine how many test you take

And for everyone else I would say that you are going to be nervous but as long as you have been driving and practicing I can almost guarantee that you will pass. Only 1 in 15 people fail, don't be nervous and you will do fine!
Here in Canada it's 4 seconds for safe following distance.

Where I live in California it is three. We don't get as much bad weather due to droughts; but the way people drive here, it might be a good idea to have a bit more of a following distance as there are many times people had to slow down or stop and even swerve in come cases to avoiding hitting others.

In order to take your test, you need to practice how many weeks or months beforehand?
Master Chacho in the Southern states of the US, you have to have a permit for a year, starting at age 15. While in some of the Northern states, once you're 16, you can get a permit and have it for 6 months, then your license.
It depends on the state; but once you get your permit, it tells you when it expires and people suggest to take the drivers test at least a few weeks before it does expires just in case you fail the first time and have to retake the test and have some time before it expires to try again (I think you have to wait a few weeks before trying to take your drivers test again. Probably to give you some time to know what you need to work on).
I live on the West Coast and we have about six months or so to practice before the permit expires (once it does, you have to renew your permit again and they aren't as lenient, so you have to miss even less questions).
Depending on the State though, parallel parking may not be required, so you just basically have to make safe turns, lane changes and stops, make sure you make a complete stop, look over your your shoulder and mirrors when backing up or changing lanes, constantly look in your mirrors, etc...you should be fine it you know and practice all of that. .
Some places are harder and stricter. Some make you merge on a freeway, parallel park, etc...so it always good to practice those things if you can and to check your state's guidelines and what people had to say about the DMV that they took their test at. Not every place has freeways and all that and some roads have wider spaces and parking while others are smaller/tighter roads and parking (the place I am taking my test at has wider roads and a bit less traffic. The local roads can be quite small and parking can be tight). So it is good to know all that before the test.
Other countries also may have different rules as well.
For Georgia you need to have your permit for at least a year and one day ( have no clue what the one day is for ) but it honestly doesn't take you that long to learn how to drive it took me about a month or two to be comfortable with driving mind you I live somewhere that is super curvy so depending on how frequently and how the road is shape near you may be comfortable sooner
in nevada once 15.5 you can get your drivers permit , then at 16 you can take your drivers license test .

Once you get your licence, I highly recommend figuring out\familiarizing yourself with your car's limits in a safe environment. This will help you in emergency situations that require split second judgement.
You can have fun with your car within its limits but, watch out for cops\and various hazards.
