The folk who said that the MC lacked intuition were 100% right, dude got bad vibes during the interview, failed to ask the right questions and still went through with the job. He then proceeds to break every rule and complain about his fate.

I know..it was so bad that it was straight up annoying me! What an idiot! I had just commented before reading this that it was no wonder the 4 previous jobs he applied for refused to hire him!
He’s getting paid $1500 a day and can’t even bother to read all the rules. The biggest twist of all would be a rules story with a competent main character.
There's at least one. It's actually pretty good. I'll see if I can remember what the name of it is
"I took a job as a night guard. I shouldn't have" is the title. Mr. Creeps has a video of it
I mean, I guess the four job interviews at least had the decency to warn us when they said he "lacked intuition."
❤❤❤❤❤
@@rawman44 I just can’t listen to Mr. creeps. I’ve tried starting a couple of his stories, and it’s like torture being forced to listen to the most dull stoner ever tell stories there’s no inflection I’m curious what do you get from it?
Seriously. Why didn't he completely read through the rules before doing anything??? Thank you, Creeps. Stay well.
I was screaming at him to do so
RULES?!?!?...... PPPFFFFF, I DONT NEED RULES!!!!!
Plot
They mention that he couldn't find a job due to his lack of intuition, which was so bad that every company noticed it just from his interview
With what Seth said, he also thought it was recycled Halloween ruleset at one point and thus dismissed anything other than the basic patrol rules as something for an event the year prior.
Nothing is more terrifying than having your headphones shout at you "Low battery, please charge" just as you're getting to the thrilling part of the story
😅
Oh that was me….sorry just wanted to let you know it was a low battery
Mine just does loud beeping which isn’t much better
Lol
when mine die they say goodbye in a deep voice and it always scares me at night
In some of these stories I feel sympathy for some of the main characters when they mess up and break a rule, but this guy only had to read everything at the very beginning and could have avoided alot of mistakes, so whatever is coming for him, he did it to himself...
For just once can we get a story where the MC follows all the rules and then gives a big f*ck you to the supernatural forces in the location while earning big bucks. That would be so satisfying.
that would make a great survivalv sim game
"I Got Hired To Write Rules For Strange Jobs, Now My Job Has Its Own Set Of Rules" is a fantastic creepypasta that does just that in my opinion!

I just wanna say left right game. Idk if you've have heard it. Its a podcast that got me into creepy pasta but the creepy pasta version is ever better than the podcast and the podcast has like an 11 person cast of professional choice actors so its really saying something
The part that annoys me about these stories is when things start kicking in before they finish reading the rules. You need to actually know what the rules ARE to have any kind of chance.
Best rules stories are the ones where the character follows the rules, but has to break them because of circumstances beyond their control.
The rules actually told him not 🚫 to go ⬇️ stairs... Way ahead of his mistake he just forgot

Truthfully yeah. They were mostly just do this. Some are so intricate when someone breaks one you have even forgotten what they were supposed to do lol
Hard to tell if he was written to be unsympathetic or the author expected us to sympathize with what an utter idiyot he was. If He was meant to be stupid as to show why he couldn’t get a normal job story, then they passed with flying colors, if not the author needs to do better and write stories for quality not quantity.

Huh. I never realized that even after listening to the story. Intuitive.
Wow so really they should have gone with the thing that was telling them to come with them. I wonder if the protagonist died of rona
Purgatory isn't a real place. Catholics came up with that to explain what happens when we die. The Bible says we sleep when we die. The Catholics always skew the Bible

The only people that had their entire names was the GM and the head Chef( who also had been freaking knighted) so, essentially the highest of authority. I pleaded and made multiple cases to get my last name on my tag, for damn near a year, I argued and fought. I even looked for an outside vendor that could do it. Never happened. All I wanted was to rise above the ranks of the underlings. Ha, no I actually just wanted to appear more important. Oh well. Dreams don’t always come true.

Another video from Creeps, always a delight
Very much enjoying the musical accompaniment of the incomparable CreepsMcPasta narrating this Spooky Story
So the Fourth Circle of Hell is where Greed is punished. That makes me think the MC is being punished for being greedy, and there are other portals that punish other sins.
But it's not like MC got the job because he wanted to hoard money, he needed it to move to a safer part of the city. So if you think about it, the real enemy is the housing market (or capitalism).
3:44 Did he seriously just gank the protagonists name from Far Cry 3? Fuckin hell.

Idk why but I love pastas that delves into rules in a ritual/game/etc.
I saw some people post this, and I believe that they're right; I wouldn't mind getting a job like this. Compared to other rules, it's a cakewalk, you get $1,500 per night, you get a step by step survival guide. I mean, yeah, it would be stressful, but what job isn't?!
