Now this is what I like to see. Nice minimal title. Simplistic story. Genuinely creepy. Not like the overwhelming majority of mainstream NoSleep crap nowadays. This feels like the old days.

Yeah. No "slender pale humanoid kills everyone except the main character" like many pastas.
This one invites readers to let the scenery play out in their heads, and that makes it way more emersive.

Growing up in the rural United States, I personally don’t see the the problem with driving alone through the woods.
Good quality CreepyPasta there! Just as another commenter stated, like the CP’s of old. The ones that started it all, just a random night, and a random figure. Who didn’t ever get told not to play with sidewalk chalk in the dark and narrow roads.
I always feel like somebody’s watching me. And I have no privacy!

It's called nonactive subscribers. It means, he has 2 million subscribers, but they arent all active. Maybe they subscribed 3 years ago, listened for a few months, but stopped watching. This is the reason why despite those millions of subscribers, a vid may only get 20k views.
Not saying he deserves that, I love creepsmcpasta. I wish he got a million views every vid. But you asked, so that's why.

I used to live in a teeny tiny town called Ligonier in PA and drove every day this one patch of road that was only approximately 10 miles…if that but it truly feels as if it’s never ending. I called it the Valley Triangle. There is absolutely no cell phone service either-just for that patch of highway, which is mostly but not all, forest. It just is the kinda ride that stays with you long after. Made for a helluva work/school day-for real 😂 👻 🤷🏻♀️
