@@zeamusico5062 it reminds me of what's always been my favorite Stephen King short story, " The Last Rung of the Ladder" , not a horror story but a beautifully written piece that touches your heart.
Can we all appreciate a nice, bitter-sweet ending instead of wanting more explanation? It was bitter because Sam and Ellie probably never met again, and sweet because Sam saved Ellie's life. It was a perfect ending, I think. More explanation would make it too cheesy. Great story!
And Sam grew from it. He got a lesson in people. All of his attempts to control the situation failed. But being open to Ellie instead led to her opening up to him, and finding the will to live. She even gave him hints when she said she just wanted to be in control
the snowstorm is meant to be what she feels inside, like the classroom shrinking is her running out of places to run . the eels are her thoughts constantly tormenting her. they all swirl around endlessly . elly is safe now... the clock is moving and that means she fixed it, which she could only do if she wasnt a ghost.
In a way, the clock ticking again shows that her time now continues. The fact it was his brother's before, who left the way Ellie originally did, it feels like the clock ticking again is a way of saying that her own time, her own life, it's continuing on instead of breaking and stopping like a watch.
This was a amazing tale. It makes me want to hear more. Does he ever find out if he managed to save her or not? Does he meet her again? What were those eel creatures? Maybe the writer will tell us one day.
Some of the answers are in the Latin motto of the school. When he arrives it translates to "Toward death, toward the light." When he leaves it's "Toward [better], toward the light." So he definitely saved her, but unfortunately the school isn't a real place, so he probably will never find her.
@Echo Waves well, the snapchat thing gives me a 2016-2017 vibe. My theory is that he travelled back in time trough that snowstorm and then came back ,after he saved her, into the current timeline ( late 2021 when he gets lost for the first time in the snowstorm) . If this is true that mesns she is allive and well but 4-5 years older than him.
Ad meliora = Towards better things Al Lucem = Through the cross to the light Put together perhaps it means - To cross through the light towards better things
Both were said, silly. Ad mortem in the beginning. Instead meaning toward death. It changed on the way out because ellies story had changed, or at least It's a clue in one's imagining.
I picked this story to fall asleep too, since it was long. Long story short, I couldn’t fall asleep till this story ended. Such a good story. I was really invested in this. Great work👍🏽
This story hits way too close to home. I lost my brother to suicide early this year, and this time last year was the last time that my family saw him alive before he hung himself in his dorm. This story perfectly encapsulates the helplessness that I have felt every day since we got the news of his death. Every day I wish that I could turn back the clock, to remind him of just how many people love him and how important he is in so many lives, and it completely destroys me inside because I know that just isn't possible. As someone who has also been through these feelings of severe depression, it cuts me ever deeper that I wasn't able to save the one person that I've ever truly cared for from the same darkness which plagues my mind every second of the day. All I want is to hug him one more time, he gave the best hugs, he was so comforting, but I know that I will never hold him again, and that fact leaves me completely shattered. Cherish your loved ones, because you never know what they could be going through.
Wow, that story was one of the rare ones that makes you so emotional about the characters (at least I was), that you find yourself actually smiling a real smile, and worrying a true worry. Showing actual concern about Ellie. I don’t happen across these often, if ever, and I must give the author credit where it is due. Thank you for such an enticing read, and done by one of my favorites CreepsMcPasta, who delivered this tale as well as he always does. An excellent way to spend an hour and a half. 👍
For real, there was anxiety in my chest when he said it was his last attempt, and hanging on absolutely every word to see if things would turn out okay.

This is such a beautiful story. Loved all the subtle references to time, life and the difference 1 day can make to someone on the edge. And I just have to say your voice, the narration, everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you!! 💫
I'd like to think that Sam still has the piece of paper with her snap, and when he gets home, he races to add her. The morning after, Ellie checks her phone, seeing she has a notification from Snapchat. She opens it up to see a request from Sam. She doesn't immediately know any Sams so she is about to ignore him, but right before that happens, her brain sparks a hint of remembrance. SAM!!! IT'S SAM! She then takes the opportunity to reconnect with him after all the years, ever so eager to talk with him, catch up with him, and especially eager to ask where it was he went, and why it was he was only around for a singular day. She never did quite find that out. But, honestly, more than anything, she was most eager to thank him. Thank him for being the small candle of hope in her seemingly meaningless, abysmal life. Because she always knew that without him, she wouldn't be standing there, having the chance to talk to him now. Sorry this is just my stupid perfect ending because I hate weirdly empty endings such as these. Hell, I don't even know if anyone is gonna read this. If you did, for whatever reason, thanks for reading my ramblings.

I think the fact that the broken watch his brother gave him started working again means Ellie lives or that he's at least found a way to deal with the trauma. Either way, the story was beautifully told. I loved it
i think the ending is absolutely perfect. at the start of the story he says no one is skilled enough to repair his grandfather's watch. and he just saved the one who can do it. i think the watch symbolizes a broken part of him as well (given the fact that ghost ellie tries to repair the watch while he's trying to save her). and the watch being automatically passed on to him by his brother kinda states that he had closure with his brother's death as well. they saved each other :)

Wow!!! I was captivated by this story. I have so many questions to ask.....does he save her? Does she change her mind about killing herself? Do they meet in real life, when both of them are alive? Please we need more of this story.
This story vibes with me a lot, it’s a difficult situation, and it’s near impossible to reach out and get that personal with someone within a single day, and sometimes it can be too late for someone, but given the opportunity I think many would take it to save someone they care about
That was beautiful. Thats all I can say I usually fall asleep to your vids cuz its soothing, but the way this one was done had me up. I have to wake up like 4 hours from now...but man that was worth it. The writer did such an amazing job on this. Paired with your voice was perfect. This video and story is on a whole different league. Amazing job.
I don't know how many times I've listened to this story now, a dozen or so, it's my favorite... there's so many things about it that mean a lot to me. I love this story.
Amazing story! Probably the best one you've narrated. Not really a creepypasta, but I like these kinds of stories more; especially when they are well written, like this one.
This story was awesome I'm totally believing he saved the girl or maybe he saved his self either way great story and as per usual the narration was & always is amazing. I love your voice the accent everything about it. Thank you for sharing your talents with us...
Man, this story was more beautiful than I thought It was gonna be. That hopeful uncertainty at the end was such a nice touch. But tbh, he could've at least learned her last name or something 🤷
This is an absolute masterpiece! There is so much symbolism and imagery that conveys the ideas! I really love the ending. Sam's watch restarting is like a reciprocating gesture or echo from Ellie as I see it. She was stuck as a ghost in time, cheerful and happy, but broken, just like the watch was majestic, but broken. When Sam, instead of using brute force to fix the broken timeline like he was trying before and instead providing her with what she needed to realise and grow to be beyond the sum of the parts, I think this is also represented by the watch being repaired at the end not bye blatant and showy hologram manipulation, but by something unseen and more ephemeral, yet all the more effective. This story is so beautiful!
And the motto changing from beginning to end signifying a change to positivity instead of death. And Ellie the ghost finally acting to save herself during the last day. It's so good!
genuinely one of the most beautiful stories I've ever heard I usually listen to these in the background while I do something else but this one hooked me and grabbed my full attention the author is amazing at painting pictures through words alone and a master at their craft
Amazing story! I love the longer stories that have these explicit details and emotions put into them, makes the story very emercive. So do some shorter stories but this one definitely stands out! :)
I definitely picked the wrong story to sleep to LOL. Definitely way too invested.. the story is just amazing. I could really relate to the characters in some ways as well. Sam is an absolute sweetheart
Wow, this may very well end up being one of my favorite stories (as I'm not sure if this counts as a creepypasta) I've heard from this channel. The mystery of what was happening in the school, the strange time traveling (of which I'm a sucker of since it gave big time loop story vibes) and the bitter sweet and very ambiguous ending... I usually go to bed listening to some stories but i think i need to take this night off... great stories deserve time to let their impact properly sink in before heading into the next story to consume. Awesome work, I'm so glad I've read this now and i sure as hell will check out the Author's work now
This has got to be my favorite creepypasta story. I kinda wish there was more to the ending. Like if he saved her or his watch being fixed was her ghost fixing it before she was taken? Do they ever meet? I hope so. And does he make it home or does he pass out from exhaustion 😩 Still. My favorite story yet! I actually shed a tear listening to this because I felt his frustration in trying to save her lol. Thank you for bringing this story to us! No one could have read it better!
This is one of the most emotionally poignant and psychologically invaluable stories I've ever heard. It is so hard to be the person that tries to save someone else's life. It is exhausting. The worst thing of all is that you don't know if you're really helping but that doesn't stop you from trying because every life is worth living.

Thank you for sharing the past year with us! We hope you have a very happy new year!
This story is beautiful. One of the best ones I’ve heard on this channel. Great job to the author!
Absolutely amazing story
The foreshadowing is perfect, little sentimental things that end up having great meaning
The ending is just perfect as well, providing enough answers and at the same time leaves just enough things unanswered
Loved it
I think this one is by far my favorite creepypasta you've ever read.
This was amazing. It really leaves you feeling heavy and somber yet, you can’t help but feel happy that Ellie is okay
This story was so beautiful! It needs to be a movie! I teared up at the ending
This is a hauntingly beautiful story. Very well written and very well narrated!!
What a beautiful story. It was enough to bring this old girl to tears. I loved everything about this it. Thank you for sharing it, and thanks to the writer. It's truly one of those stories you don't want to end. It could be a really nice movie! ❤
This was beautifully written, I got really invested in the story and can imagine exactly how I would want it to end. Very well done!
Please please please do more long stories like this! They help me get through the day.
Haven’t heard a story like this since Erased. Hauntingly beautiful.
I have listened to your narrations for years now, and sometimes a story just gets to you. This is one of those! Really good story and awesome narration as always! I really hope he finds Ellie again 😮
Me too 😇😇😇 I love that these guys are using my best friend's name in every tale ❤ 💕 💗 💖 ♥ I never knew her name was so popular. Fyi though she spells it E L L Y
Amazing! I listen to these to sleep but was wide awake and attentive to this one. Hit my heart strings.... I'll be thinking about Ellie all day! This story was soo deep. Major kudos to the writer and the reader
Wow!!! I was captivated by this story. I have so many questions to ask.....does he save her? Does she change her mind about killing herself? Do they meet in real life, when both of them are alive? Please we need more of this story.
Your channel and lighthouse horror are my two favorite creepypasta. I think y'all would make a great calaberation
It's always the longer stories that are the most emotionally impactful
Beautiful story man, thank you, it helped a great deal, more than I want to say to be honest. A huge thank you to the author. Cheers, Lee.
This story vibes with me a lot, it’s a difficult situation, and it’s near impossible to reach out and get that personal with someone within a single day, and sometimes it can be too late for someone, but given the opportunity I think many would take it to save someone they care about
That was beautiful. Thats all I can say
I usually fall asleep to your vids cuz its soothing, but the way this one was done had me up.
I feel like Ellie’s mannerisms tell me she was written by an avid anime fan.
Best story in a while! I was absolutely hooked! Loved the ending! Kudos to the author! 💕
This story has a very beautiful message about not taking life for granted and not giving up on someone
You are my favorite narrator. You got it going on man !
Thx Creeps, i so appreciate your work, I wish you happy holidays!
Amazing story! Probably the best one you've narrated. Not really a creepypasta, but I like these kinds of stories more; especially when they are well written, like this one.
I keep coming back to this story. It genuinely stopped me from what she was planning, and it’s stuck with me ever since
This story is one of the best I've heard in quite some time.
This story was awesome I'm totally believing he saved the girl or maybe he saved his self either way great story and as per usual the narration was & always is amazing. I love your voice the accent everything about it. Thank you for sharing your talents with us...
First creepy pasta I’ve ever heard with a happy ending, not what I was expecting but still very heart warming
Amazing story. Ellie reminds me of someone I once knew. Great narration, as always. :)
That was a sweet little one. It actually touched me. Ty Creeps
Great story, fantastic narrator. I really enjoy the occasional feel good creepy tale. Thanks for all you do!
This is quite possibly the most interesting story ive ever heard, though unlikely i would greatly appreciate a sequel
Man, this story was more beautiful than I thought It was gonna be. That hopeful uncertainty at the end was such a nice touch. But tbh, he could've at least learned her last name or something 🤷
What a crazy story! this channel has inspired to make creepy videos that are from real life stories! Love your work
This story was close to me , emotions ran deep ... Great story 👏 BRAVO !!!! I NEED MORE 😫
ghosts can't physically hurt you
high school ghosts: *proceeds to call me mean names*
I went here cuz the Spotify Episode isn't complete and stops at 1:15:05, good thing this is here. Story is amazing.
genuinely one of the most beautiful stories I've ever heard I usually listen to these in the background while I do something else but this one hooked me and grabbed my full attention the author is amazing at painting pictures through words alone and a master at their craft
This was fantastic! Thanks 😊 love your narration and the author is great with words and imagination!
This story was amazing. Beautiful.
Best narration of the year. Story was good but you made it great! Awesome job man.
Thank you very much! I hope many folks can take encouragement from this great story. Do not give up Jesus loves you❤️
Wow, this may very well end up being one of my favorite stories (as I'm not sure if this counts as a creepypasta) I've heard from this channel.
Awesome work, I'm so glad I've read this now and i sure as hell will check out the Author's work now
Great narration as always ! And. Great story. They podcast version wad cut off so I had to here the end
Damn it can't end like that. The author needs to write a second story, I was hoping that he was able to save Ellie.
Nothing indicates that he dosnt save her... it's an amazing story telling that is much left for the listener to desire
No one could have read it better!
this is the best story i've ever heard and that isn't even exageration. if the author wrote a book i would 100% buy it
It doesn't get better than this.
Top notch all the way!
This is one of the most emotionally poignant and psychologically invaluable stories I've ever heard. It is so hard to be the person that tries to save someone else's life. It is exhausting. The worst thing of all is that you don't know if you're really helping but that doesn't stop you from trying because every life is worth living.
Great story and narration. Thank you.
Someone turn this into a damn short film already dammit.
