the end of the Dwayne Johnson interview is so iconic to me... the single most emblematic moment you could point to, to illustrate Craig's strength in interviews. other talk show host wouldn't have gotten that story out of Dwayne in a million years, even though he tends to be a very generous interviewee, just because they're too preoccupied with throwing to the next commercial, or making sure to mention whatever movie the guest is there to promote...
@@ibra.m8321 well, ideally he did. with some guests he just wasn't interested, or they weren't giving him anything, kinda felt like the first half of this one could've went down that road, until something clicked and they connected and started talking like normal people, instead of guest and host peddling a product, like most other talk shows are...
I would agree with you except its clear that Dwayne wanted to tell those stories and also that he had an admiration for Ferguson. The age of 38 makes people want to spill the beans on themselves. You get what you pay for - in life
29:04 I appreciate the genuine connection forming between Dwayne and Craig in this moment. Craig's enthusiasm rubs off on Dwayne, sparking a fantastic conversation. It's a special moment because it feels authentic and unscripted, setting it apart from other talk shows. This exemplifies the unique charm and the greatness of Craig Ferguson.
That what Cillian Murphy said about eating venison after 12 years being a vegetarian rang so true with me. I was vegetarian for seven years, and at that day for reasons I can hardly get into on a chat, an hour before I had a basketball game, I ate ćevapi, quite popular dish here in Croatia and all of the balkans. Similar to shish kebab I suppose. After eating that meat after seven years of just veggies, I felt like I could jump through the roof. I felt ok with eating just veggies, but once I tried meat again, it was like a superjuice.
Yes!!!!! 😁 Humans are meat eaters. In fact, I think we should have Restaurants INSIDE of sloughterhouses - with view of the de-assembly line of course. Not just so we can smell the meat but also HEAR the animals screaming in fear for their lives. Bring the kids for a fun time! They can pick the animal they want to eat and watch it get killed...that'll make anyone's mouth start to water 😋
Man, I'd like to see the parts that got cut from the interview w/the Rock. @26:55 there's no money on the desk and then the next time the desk is shown @27:06, POOF!, there's a bunch of dollar bills on the corner of the desk. There's also an obvious edit @28:12 where they cut to Geoff saying "Ooh, snap!" and then when they cut back to Craig he's looking directly at the producer and laughing with the look of, "That's going to be cut out" on his face.
That's strange... for the first time ever RUclips showed Me Late Late Show with male guests. For all those years I though Craig exclusively interviewed females...
I'd pay actual money for that lol i fall asleep watchin this and then an hour later HOLY BALLS WELCOME TO THE SHOW LET'S BLOW YOUR EARDRUMS RIGHT OUTTA YOUR HEAD WEEEEEEEEEE
Craig, Zack was just praising before the break how he doesn't have to talk that much and he loves it. That's like, not when you drop the Improv story on a guy...
love your videos, ive watched probably 80 or so of them so when i say this, i mean no disrespect. there is a chunk missing in the rock section, if you watch at @27:00 to 27:25 or so, youll see a stack of cash magically appear out of nowhere
Richard was the best by far. I laughed so hard with Zack G. Dwayne was great, very at ease. I do wish the creator would compile the list in chronological order, however.
So I thought, nah, I don't care about crime too much and even less in ye olden times, I'm not gonna watch Peaky Blinders just because of Cillian Murphy. 2:17 >off to Netflix, they got Dr. Alan Grant

haha thats fckn epic to hear tho
can understand that
I was literally thinking Craig never talks to actors about their actual film/series cue Cillian Murphy
That's bcs Cillian was part of something that Craig immensly respects in the world of cinema.

I wonder how many people understood all the nuances in Craig's conversation with Cillian Murphy. So much more there than you notice at first look.
When Zach reaches for the cup that no longer exists because he moved the table at 46:50
Genius!
Richard is a mental genius every show he is on or does fucking hilarious
Galifinakis is the perfect guest for craig
Haven't even got to that part yet and I already know you're right
I think he sometimes resisted to laugh at the stuff Craig said and I don't know why but that made it funnier
Richard Ayoarde for the win....
It's so fun listening to 2 masters of quick witted convoluted comedy. Craig and Richard Aioli, or whatever, are great examples.
Don't you ever be this disrespectful to Richard Avocade again!
Cillian only visiting once feels like missed fun.

It's too bad that Channing wasn't on more. They obviously got along really well. Plus, I'm a big fan of it to start with.

HOLY VOLUME EQUALISATION!
Where has Richard gone? Havent seen him in years.
I think Channing Tatum is saying Knee-Yourleans instead of New Orleans....? I'm a little drunk though
I kept watching that bit at 18:25. Did Craig blow Tatum's mind? Cuz I kinda feel like he did.
He was like best friends with dwayne
I just realized Cillian Murphy is Irish...
Zion Zix of course he’s what did you think his nationality was 😕!!!?
I hope Ayoade & Craig are friends:)
DAMN Zach should have been on every week.
Hold up with Channing Tatum, he had to be on the show they reference New Orleans an even say he was on the show.
he was on the show
I think Channing re-appeared on Craig's New Orleans episode.
He did, I made another compilation where I included that bit. But, I should say, at the time I made this video, I didn't know of that New Orleans bit.
So... Dwayne Johnson for President?
Fuck no, lets all learn a lesson here and let someone qualified take the position.
Maybe. But first: Dwayne Johnson for BATMAN.
And Robocop.
And Judge Dredd.
And Terminator.
And Rambo. No wait, not Dredd and Rambo.

I think Cris met his match with Cris Ayoade
Oops...Richard Ayoade...
Galifianakis HATED being there.
Peaky Blinders is a great show
Did Craig confuse Mathew Perry for Mathew McConaughey?
