Tom Selleck is a class act. He's handsome as heck, all man, sexy at any age, gracious, down to earth, a good sport as a guest, doesn't take himself too seriously. If there's a hall of fame for how to be a real man, he'd be the ultimate inductee.
Tom looks like that serious die hard cop/law enforcement officer who's tough and stern, who's actually likeable and smiles and laughs and breaks that image all the time lol.
When I was a kid watching Magnum PI with the red Ferrari and Higgins and the Dobermans, I had no idea that one day I'd hear Tom Selleck discuss his colonoscopy in a television broadcast interview! Tom is brilliant and does a great interview.
Steve Powell Thank goodness he and others speak out about colonoscopies. I had one, 5 years ago, that may have saved my life. I went to my doctor about one problem and fortunately, they found a golf ball size, non malignant mass. There was no pain, no symptoms, nothing to let on that it was there. So yeah, what you don't know can hurt you. If it had gone longer, the doctor said it would have been a different story.
They gave Craig no money for a band etc but it just made his talent shine even more .. you only have to look at how many are still watching the show reruns , myself included, years after his time on the late late show ended
What a guy. At the same time such a commanding presence and such a loveable goofball. They way he deadpan pitched "Wild Bill Prober - Frontier Proctologist" had me in stitches.
The Magnum laugh that I grew up with can't be faked for tv. It's here again, and it's proof of what I've felt certain of for 40 years. Selleck's Selleck whether the camera's on or off.
Listen man, your compilations give me such great laughs, I have watched so many that I feel I owe you a subscription fee or something. Thanks for all your videos.
Tom Selleck is a very pleasant guy. We met him in NYC. He looks bigger than 6'4", extraordinarily handsome, I believe he's of Ukrainian/Irish/Scottish/German background, and was a college basketball player with University of Southern California.
I already loved Tom Selleck when he played Monica's boyfriend, Richard, in 'Friends', but I had no idea he was this adorable! He's such a charmer, and matches Craig's energy perfectly.
“Two words” “What? ‘Makin’ Whoopee’?” “No! I spat out my coffee from laughing when Craig said making whoopee because I just listened to Eddy Canter’s “Makin’ Whoopee” from the 1920’s best jazz& pop and although it’s been covered by many famous singers like Louie Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald I just didn’t expect that phrase to roll off Craig’s to tongue like that.
lol my mum is the same! lol my mum is also 73 and she’s on oxygen for COPD but man she loves her some Tom Selleck lol. She never misses Bluebloods and I remember her never missing Magnum either lol
Funny to see him talking about Blue Bloods getting extended for the whole 1st season and now it's still going strong with binge re-runs like NCIS, NCIS LA.
My mum loves Tom Selleck and never misses an episode of Bluebloods. She’s liked him since the 1980’s with Magnum. She never missed an episode of that show either lol and that was before DVR’s and VCR’s were still too expensive so you had to actually be home at the correct time lol
It's a Sunday morning here, and instead of watching a hot actress getting interviewed by Craig and getting my hormones up, it's kinda soothing to see the 80's tree trunk fatherly figure getting interviewed. Classy stuff!
Watching this makes me wanna watch these Jesse Stone movies, and talk about Magnum PI great show, me and and nephew would drink and smoke up and laugh our guts out because of Higgins what a character 😄🥴
@@laniejuanitawhitehurst1624 I think it worked out for the best though. I can’t picture him as Indiana Jones, Harrison Ford fit the character better. Tom Selleck is a bit to manly for the part and at 6’4” would tower over everybody else. It’s difficult to imagine him being scared of the stuff that Indiana was in the films. Plus we wouldn’t have had all those great episodes of Magnum lol
everytime i re watch these. i just wonder what in the hell happened to late night television. the difference is truly stunning. craig was a man only of his time
I LOVED runaway!!! I've watched it a lot. I love the scene in the hotel room where the drone monitoring the transaction is on the ceiling, and then quietly flies down. We have that now!!!! It was science fiction then. Yay progress!!
Under-rated film but it was really good with Selleck and Cynthia Rhodes and Gene Simmons! Imagine if they do Runaway now with all the current movie making technologies with the Selleck reprising his role, that be awesome!
What do you mean “so sad he gave up”? I’m not familiar with why he stopped doing the late show. I always thought the idiot CBS cancelled the show. Do you know what really happened? I’d like to know please.
At 6:16 Craig begins the discussion that Tom's daughter started dating. You'd think when your date's dad is both six feet four and Tom Selleck there would be no need to show the gun collection to these young suitors. But then again---just so there's no misunderstanding---maybe some extra intimidation couldn't hurt either :).
When they were discussing that I thought of the young men who try to date Stallone’s daughters lol. How bad is it when your dates father is Rocky and Rambo? lol
This year is the 50th anniversary of "Daughters of Satan". Yes, it stars Tom Selleck, but even better, it was directed by a dude called Hollingsworth Morse. One of the great film director names in history.
Animal tvi You know, film and tv have been recycling stories/storylines forever. But I do feel as you and I'm guessing, many others, why recycle the "Classics"? Magnum/Tom Selleck and the crew, the 'finest kind'. Murphy Brown?? No disrespect to any fans, but it just didn't do it for me, the first time around.
Watching Colbert interviewing beautiful actresses are just painful....😱😱😱 Most of the times the actresses are trying so hard to be charming and Colbert is just freaking awkward.
Run away, The Sacketts, Quigley Down Under, and Jessie Stone. Okay, okay, so I didn't commit to one, only, but hey , we're talking characters that Tom Selleck has done a damn good job with. Edit: I forgot about Monty Walsh, which I discussed with another respondent:).
Tom loves animals, he is so so sensitive .....What a Saint .......He lives on a Ranch surrounded by Animals .What an amazing human being ... We name all our animals, and have never ever eaten one of them......Tom you are Jesse Stone............... '
if i was tom when the daughter brought over a date. all id say is. "im tom selleck. nobody will convict me for screwing you up or beating you for messing with my daughter. so if you think you will, go ahead. but i wont go to jail!"
And if I were the date, I'd be faced with a big decision. Immediately shit myself, or run like hell out the front door while shitting myself. I don't care who you are.....nobody is going to beat Tom Selleck with multiple shotguns.
He could also mention that one of his neighbours is Stallone and they have a pre-dug hole on both their ranches lol. And have agreed to be each other’s alibi if need be. lol
Tom Selleck seems like such a genuine, nice guy. Impossible to dislike!
Yea

He has such a great voice too!!!
Just wonder what it is liked to be married to him!!!And if his wife thinks he is anyone special.....Or if he is just Tom.....
I had no idea he was this adorable!!! Always thought he was handsome. But to see him with Craig and so down to earth and silly aww!!!
I love it!!
He's so hot. These types of men are so rare.

Craig was great. He made my night. Loved His show so much. I even bought His books.
Here in 2023 😂
I just love Tom Selleck... and his laugh! CRAIG...you are awesome!
They have reruns somewhere?
TS still has that impish, little boy laugh & sense of humor. He's remains Thomas Magnum playing Tom Selleck!! Just love this guy!!!
What a guy. At the same time such a commanding presence and such a loveable goofball. They way he deadpan pitched "Wild Bill Prober - Frontier Proctologist" had me in stitches.
TOM SELLECK - what a hunk....what a guy....what a delight......
Absolutely gorgeous
I totally enjoyed Tom Selleck on Bluebloods! He was awesome, such a great person & absolute great actor! 👍♥️
The Magnum laugh that I grew up with can't be faked for tv. It's here again, and it's proof of what I've felt certain of for 40 years. Selleck's Selleck whether the camera's on or off.
I miss this show so much. 😥
Kudos to Tom - no matter how much Craig needles him, Tom just takes it in his stride. Seems like a total gent and a real child at heart.
But Craig is a stitch all on his own...
He is very bright and quick,!!!!
I have to see if he has Robin on one his late night shows....
Exactly
@@vivianevans4956 Robin did TLLS 5 times, and each one is hysterical. Craig is one of the few human beings that could actually keep up with Robin.

Tom Selleck is a very pleasant guy. We met him in NYC. He looks bigger than 6'4", extraordinarily handsome, I believe he's of Ukrainian/Irish/Scottish/German background, and was a college basketball player with University of Southern California.
Tom is my favorite actor! And right up there as a person!!
Awesome chemistry!
Hehe he looks like he's having fun in his own way. He's such a sweet guy well they both are. Thanks for the up load keep it up.
Two of my favorites blathering, I love it!
Tom selleck doesn't age! One of my favorite actors.
I forgot what a great voice Tom has 😊
I already loved Tom Selleck when he played Monica's boyfriend, Richard, in 'Friends', but I had no idea he was this adorable! He's such a charmer, and matches Craig's energy perfectly.
One of my favorite of Tom's movies is High Road To China.
Hysterically funny 👍 Geoff:”I still have your Magnum poster up”
Possibly my favourite interviews out of all of the shows
Ariel tweto was cute
he got better with each apperance
More facelifting everytime!
Sjef Hendrickx no, too much natural sagging for that.
@@sjefhendrickx2257 did he really? he looks very normal
No one before or since has had Craigs style. His guests loved him Always relaxed and fun. Oh how I muss him
I really enjoyed Magnum PI and BlueBlood and other sitcoms. Love them all!!!
Tom is so awesome!
Oh my goodness. Tom Selleck dancing to the Secretariat music! I could die right now after seeing that.
It's always good to see Magnum PI
Now that would have been a show Craig and Mr T. . Great work on the videos . Thanks .

Tom Selleck dancing for secretariat is the highlight of my life
Ha my mother has a huge crush on this man lol. She's 73 and she sparkles when she says Magnum PI lol.
lol my mum is the same! lol my mum is also 73 and she’s on oxygen for COPD but man she loves her some Tom Selleck lol. She never misses Bluebloods and I remember her never missing Magnum either lol
The Highlands of Cape Breton in Nova Scotia are very similar to the Highlands of Scotland. Visitors are very welcome 🤗

Aj Sky he's still a hunky guy
Aj Sky tree trunk😅
Tom Selleck is not a tree trunk!!! He is eye candy- very handsome. ❤️🌹🤗
He's sexy and hot so your hormones should be up
You don't expect a laugh like his on a guy that manly, nothing wrong with it, it's just funny :)
Find and watch the real _Magnum, P.I.,_ you hear it a lot.
Nick Offerman has a similar laugh.
It makes him sexier. Giggly men are hot.
lol it's so cute
Watching this makes me wanna watch these Jesse Stone movies, and talk about Magnum PI great show, me and and nephew would drink and smoke up and laugh our guts out because of Higgins what a character 😄🥴
He should have done a Magnum PI reunion. Still the best show he's ever done.
Magnum PI is why he wasn’t INDIANA JONES

Tom was meant to be Magnum. He was perfect.
Come back to us Craig!!! And bring Tom! Two of the sexiest men ever!
Tom still has that boyhood, happy laugh. Such a charm. OMG, the Ballad of Wild Bill Prober.
"Runaway" was a classic movie.
I liked it. Gene Simmons was good as the villain.
My dad would always confuse that with Short Circuit. Completely different movies.
17:50 I saw "Runaway"... It was pretty good. The guy from Kiss, Gene Simmons, played the villain.
Are you a Vegetarian? "God no. How would I live?" Love this guy. :D

Those were hilarious!
When he snatched up the harmonica.. I saw the little boy in him..
To Tom Selleck on Craig Ferguson Show - I've seen 'Runaway', numerous times!! Loved your movie, remake w/you would be sensational.
Tom seems to have that Nick Offerman "manly piercing eyes and intimidating brows - high pitched adorable laugh" thing going on :D
GREAT WORK JAYLENO FLY, CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF CRAIG. SO SAD HE GAVE UP.
What do you mean “so sad he gave up”? I’m not familiar with why he stopped doing the late show. I always thought the idiot CBS cancelled the show. Do you know what really happened? I’d like to know please.
Selleck looks as if he has the manliest fragrance on him smelling like a mixture of whiskey and cigars.
Tom Selleck seems like a truly nice guy, I hope it is true. Sometimes what it seems just is not real, one can only hope!
He is a truly nice guy. Look up other interviews of him.
tom selleck dancing with a horse mascot. life is complete.
😂❤😂
What a fun laugh.
Another regular guy...I love the J. Stone movies.

Just my opinion but blue bloods is a role made for him.
Its testimonial to Craig when top stars like Tom Selleck return time and time again

Ends with Tom playing with Craig.
It’s really good.
